Sure looks like it came out good to me! One thing I was wondering about was where you had the wrap wanting to slide down to the collector was if you wrapped it in the opposite direction, would that have "locked" the wraps from sliding? Not sure, maybe, maybe not. Plugging away on my 70 build. Got one raised floor area done under the back seat for better dual exhaust clearance, one to go. Using the Summit floor pans for some of the bends helped quite a bit.
Hmm, good idea, I think it just might. The only reason I wrapped it in the direction that I did was because all of the “how-to” videos did it this way. Have to give some thought to if there was a reason you couldn’t do it like you suggested.
Nice! The silicone stuff sounds interesting. I guess it's like a thinned-out silicone adhesive that soaks in to the wrap? What's the music in the montages?
I’m guessing it’s basically flex-seal, but we’ll see. Music is from the royalty free UA-cam library, I figured I needed some rap for wrapping (puns all round).
