Well, now that I have watched this, I think I will build my own cage too! Awesome video and killer car. Tossed about the back bar, whether to go through the speaker hole or not. Your method definitely would be stronger and easier to fabricate. I am just finishing up the rear floor pan work raising the area under the seat for the dual exhaust. Not too bad of a job using the Summit floor pans.
Sweet, glad the floor pan plan is working out for you. I realized that if I wasn’t going to try to keep a back seat I didn’t need to create the hassle. Even with a removable harness bar it still wouldn’t be a safe place to ride. It may look a little cleaner if you go through the package tray.
