Is this still going on? I would certainly hope not. If so, that is downright unacceptable. It's one thing if there is still an ongoing investigation (although, if the father is considered a suspect in their mother's disappearance, they should be relocated immediately)... but once he has been arrested, he should lose any & all ability to make any decisions regarding those children and they should immediately be placed into a stable and safe environment while they locate a worthy home for those poor souls (with Maya's family receiving adoption priority, of course). Please tell me this is exactly what happened...

To answer 1 and 3: unfortunately, even for a victim as young as 4, the power an abuser holds is just...I don't even know exactly how to describe it. My step father was like Larry. He came into my life at the age of 2. By 4 I was a zombie almost. I was so full of guilt and fear and believed he was so much more than what he was. I was so confused, because of my trauma bond to him. I was TERRIFIED of him, but also felt fiercely loyal to him. He would HORRIFICALLY abuse my mother, then come hug me and say things like "I love your mother! I don't want to do this to her. Do you see the way she pushes me? She's destroying this family and I don't know why. I'm so sorry she makes me do these evil things." He would terrorize us all, then say "Who do you love more? Me or your mom?" While my broken mother was just in the other room, a walking zombie herself. I was so full of a terrible, terrible guilt and I'd be physically sick as I told him that I loved him more but please don't tell mom. If he had killed her, I would've protected him out of that deep fear. Even now I feel guilt and like he knows when I talk about him, and I am 28 years old. I still, at 28, don't think I could stand up to him face to face. The fear is so deep in a part of my mind that I can't reach.

Hahaha!!! The coffee cup is **totally** mean-mugging in this video!!! That's hilarious! When it's sitting in the foreground of the frame, the expression on the mug looks neutral, but when receded into the background and turned slightly, the expression seems to change. The moustache begins to look more like a downturned mouth, and the writing above the glasses is suggestive of a furrowed brow. The eyes look more intense. Funny how perspective changes the look of an item so drastically, and how we each perceive the objective world so subjectively.
I often find myself pointing out to friends that I think X and Y, usually two people, look similar. Most times, nobody can see any similarity at all, yet to me the likeness is striking. Our vision is very limited; the percentage of reality we can see with the naked eye is startlingly low. It's a wonder we've survived as a species so far!
The rods and cones in our eyeballs send the view of world in front of us to our brains for processing, so, it's really not surprising when two or more people will look at the exact same thing, and all perceive it in a different way. There's no way that everyone's system is functioning in the exact same manner. Like watching the same show simultaneously on a wall of different types of monitors, there will be a continuum of the varying degrees of picture quality, and colour saturation differences on each screen. Going from "almost identical to "filmed with a toaster".
We can never truly know if anyone else sees the same shade of blue the exact same way as we do. This is why, in hairdressing, if someone asks me for, say, "honey blonde hair colour," or wants "light streaks," I have to verify, using colour swatches, and pick apart their initial statements during the consultation. What do they see when they imagine "honey blonde"? More golden, more of a coppery, amber tone, or even a neutral? Then, I need to clarify what, exactly, is meant by "light streaks". Does that mean they want their hair lifted to level 9 or 10...aka lightest blonde or platinum, in layman's terms? Does it mean they only want their highlights to be a level or two lighter than their base colour? Do they mean they just want a few highlights placed strategically, or only very fine sections of hair lifted? And again, to what level, and what tone? Two little words strung together could mean five different things to as many people.
Wow. I went off, there. How did I get from "haha, yeah, mug" to "we're all so different, despite both of us seeing the same sour expression on the mug," to "the complicated business of pre-chemical-service consultation in the beauty industry"?? Le Sigh. I need to journal more, and digressively comment in UA-cam videos less. Finally get down to writing those books that live in my head.
It's obviously totally okay if you skim this whole thing. It's also very valid to feel, at this point, that I've wasted about 45 seconds of your life that you'll never get back. At least, not in this particular meat-suit your energy is currently inhabiting, anyway. Assuming reincarnation is a thing, which I suspect it could be, after a fashion. That's another ramble for another day, however.
Maybe you were sliiiightly entertained, though? One can only hope.
Have a bitchin' day, Internet Stranger(s)!

I pray they find her body before the trial starts and that they do not make a deal with him in exchange for her location. In my opinion he will most likely never admit that he did this and reveal where he put her, and I pray LE can find her without his help. Evidently the wizard has a Dungeon Master who misinterpreted the target of the spell to be Maya instead of her putative boyfriend. To correct the problem, Larry drove around a lot, remembering to not take his cell phone, but he forgot to cast Malfunction on his neighbor's security camera.

It could have been Maya, or the kids playing in the yard. Perhaps he had the kids go out to play that night, because he planned on shooting Maya, or already had, and wanted the kids out, to move the body. It sounds like Larry was so obsessed with Maya, he was driving himself to a level of near madness. Such a sad case, I feel bad for the kids. And Maya. I hope they find her, for the family's sake. I will never understand how people really think a home filled with tension and other toxic elements is "for the sake of the children". That's never true. People always use children as an excuse to stay in a bad relationship. The reality is you're too self absorbed and fixated on your rotten relationship, to think about the negative impact it has on your children. Children love their parents but they also love peace. That's why so many children end up staying with grandparents and other relatives. They have to find alternatives to get what they can't get from the people who claim to do everything for their sake.

tbf not all are blatant with their lack of empathy, some including narcissists are really good at faking empathy and star pupils of manipulation, gaslighting is huge tool they excel at and the longer your with them the more confused of your own mind you become. It's only when your away from them for a good amount of time is where you start thinking more clearly again. If you've ever had a family member or relationship with anyone in cluster B you will get what I mean. But yes if they are so blatantly callous that they don't even care enough to appear empathetic, run.

    • @tommycharles4666
      @tommycharles4666 2 роки тому

@@roguechevelle I hear you. Social engineering is the solution to that. A woman needs to see what a man is like when she isn't there. A narc is typically so arrogant that he'll let his mask down when she's not around. How is he treating people then? Waiters? Is he screaming at them, and is that a pattern of behavior? A trusted male friend can provide this information, and I wouldn't look down on any woman who did this. Sadly, women are often as guided by their limbic systems as we are...they're just somewhat more in denial about it on average. Also, because of 4th wave feminism, they get "I can just blame a man" syndrome. This is the lady who gets into crap relationship after crap relationship, but when she recounts those relationships she always talks in passive voice, as if she had nothing to do with choosing those men. It's also the lady who will give you the "just let me explain" apology, as if the alcohol just magically got into her system :P. No accountability.

He put maya in back of lexus. Put his son in car seat up front. Larry took maya to a place where water flows or maybe a dry bed that floods. I see maya dropped down a ravine or a jeddi maybe. She sits on her behind, legs foreward and arms above her head. I know a pink fingernail is involved and might be stuck in larrys pants cuff. The number 17 is in my mind. Possibly mile marker or street name. I believe her son knows the info that will solve this case. Hes too young right now to express himself. I can relate.. luckily we got out. But it's true, women don't have much option because they don't want to leave kids or be accused of abandonment and be taken against them legally and lose the chance of getting custody. Some also don't have the means financially, so they stay. If a woman wants to end the marriage, they are accused of so many things, including adultery, or someone who is destroying the family. For a husband who has had control over the wife for so many years then suddenly realize they no longer have control one day, when the wife finally says enough.. then they resort to many things to keep things still under control. Don't ever wait for the right time.. because you don't know when he will snap. Prepare secretly, then just leave with the kids, then file for a restraining order.

The gunshots at their home the night she "disappeared" were haunting. I can never re-watch that video.

Shotcaller was such a horrible attempt at a remake of the legendary film Un Prophete.

Why murder your spouse⁉️ Get a damn divorce like normal human beings do.
In the end, you get caught and wind up in prison for life on even on death row!
So many fish in the sea. Or be single. Nothing wrong with that. I just hope they find her body soon. As for Larry hope he rotts in prison. 😡

I love your insightful videos. Could you please cover the Eric Smith case? At 13, he murdered 4 year old Derrick Robie, and is due to be released in 3 days after being granted parole. I would specifically be interested in your opinion as to his likelihood of re-offending. Thanks, and thank you for great content!
