Thank you so much, I spent more than an hour trying to bind one rx to two models without the original bind key (which I lost), thinking it couldn't be done, al I had to do was pressing the bind key before powering the tx on.
It looks like you didn't have any signal ports on the receiver connected to anything, so it can be bound to a transmitter without needing to also be connected to an ESC/FC/whatever. Good to know, since I've spent ages trying to get my TGYia6b receiver to bind to my Turnigy 5X transmitter with no luck, this eliminates incorrect connection to the flight controller as a potential problem. My 5X also isn't binding to another receiver of mine, I think I may just have a dead transmitter and need to buy a new one... Also, is there any difference between the Turnigy ia6b and the FlySky ia6b? They look like the exact same product
I use a FlySky FS-i6X Tx and FS-iA6B Rx for my model sailboat. I would like to collect control data (PWM) using a second FlySky Rx connected to an Arduino and datalogger. Is there any way to simultaneously bind two receivers to a single transmitter? I also have FS-GR3E and FS2A=4CH receivers available. Thanks.
my receiver started smoking when i plug the battery and until now i don’t use it i’m afraid that my life depends on it (i think i put the battery up side down)
Plug in the binding harness and start binding procedure to the new RX (transmitter remote). It will bind to the new one. If you want to have it "virgin", you'll have to reflash it "virgin" firmware.

Don’t plug the battery directly to the receiver!!!!! Use the esc to connect the two, I made that mistake and the thing instantly broke
