2:25 The gentleman found a Venom #3 Skan Variant "Winged Venom." Probably for $3, too. Predator #1 in a high grade already pays for this haul alone. The rest for the PC. This place is heaven.
Great video, there seems to be a great selection of comic books. I wish i had this near me because im actually contemplating quiting this hobby because of my last three online purchases which all smelled of mold and they included some great keys, fantastic four 244, uncanny x men 214, 208, 244, 250 and 251 with 251 being a Mark jewlers. There were also another non key x men which were Mark jewlers.
I came 45 minutes late. I think hands down this was the best bargain show in Massachusetts I ever been to. Many of the keys were gone but I ended up still doing well. Lots of people on the Key Collector app on their phone so I had to walk around them and come back because they were looking up each issue that interested them. I saw you there and wanted to say hi but you were busy digging and was hoping to catch you when the crowd calmed down. Thanks for everything you do. Great haul.

Classic x men 1 are tough to find in grade it certainly is a sleeper. Also watch out for the one with the faded black print error which is notable in the back cover
Awesome grabs Mike! I ordered a ton of Silver/Bronze Age comics from Gary's through the mail way back in 86. When I was a Marine. I bought like $4,000 worth of Marvel's. I wish I still had those books. Especially my Tales of Suspense & TTA runs. SIGH!
My best was between July and September at an ongoing comic book expo where one booth was selling all back issues in the cheap bins were a dollar to 50 cents and eventually 25 cents a book.
Reminds me of when toilet tissue paper was hard to find on the store shelves in lockdowns. When they got stocked, everyone buying multiples and stripping the shelves in greed. Goldorf is clever, he knows the psychology of humans. That's why the staff were all smiling at you all.
Classic X-Men's back-up stories by Claremont and John Bolton are as good as the main stories; I'd love to see more Bolton art in comics. Byrne's She-Hulk is one of the most memorably entertaining series of the 80s for me. Mark Millar's surname is pronounced the same way as Frank Miller's surname; transposing the /e/ for an /a/ is simply an English regional variation which doesn't affect how you say it. Neil Gaiman remains a truly brilliant writer and The Sandman is one of the high points of his career, and of the medium in general. Isn't it a great feeling when you can finish a run!
I was happy to say hello to you and some other friends. I was also very disappointed at how many dealers, resellers and middlemen showed up. The total came to $130. I asked if he'd take $120 considering I left with zero "keys" or books of any real value and he told me he already gave me a discount. $2.96 a book was a slap in the face. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
