I like that you are a well-rounded collector. You don't hate on things like modern comics, omnibus, store exclusives, or variants. Or grading books. Collect what you love.
Nicely laid out 1:46 room and a Great collection! The wife gave me some space in the basement so I could display a few grails and other items! My room is smaller than yours from the looks of things but I think it’s laid out well! Every time I enter the room i think of all those glorious stories adorned by some of the greatest cover art that has transcended the ages and I smile! Continued success in your collecting endeavours!
Loved this tour- that joker piece is amazing! Thank you for sharing this tour with us!! I don't collect comics; I collect signed rock n' roll memorabilia- so I can appreciate the art of collection, display and preservation! 😊
The design of the room is awesome! From the paint color of the walls, the orderly wall displays, how you grouped everything, the artwork (Frankie’s Girl is kick-ass!), the bookshelf … it all comes together like you are stepping into a small museum. Well done!
I like that you collect stuff that means something to you rather than collecting stuff that everyone else collects. Like your Niagara. Falls stuff. That means something to you, not necessarily anyone else.
That's a nice and tidy and well thought out room, with all the replica covers, is that Batman #1 one of them? Loved that Bride of Frankenstein😍 My room tour consisted more of original covers but only a few worth a few bob, lol! Just subbed! Look forward to more!
@@Deadman1957TEB thanks! Yes, the graded Batman is a replica copy from the Masterpiece Collectors Set that came out in 1999. I appreciate your kind words and the sub! 🙌
so the batman 1 is a reprint/replica which on the slab would say that, yet from a distance looks real. good for a display piece but that is it. how many collectors would have a real batman 1 in 8.0 or above? just about none except maybe 1-3. I think a 9.0 is the highest for this book with one owner.
@@GeorgeRainey-s4v correct - a high grade original print of Batman 1 would be incredibly difficult to come by, which is why I consider mine as a display piece. It’s not a flex or boast - just a cool comic to own and display and an important piece of comic book history.

Very tidy! Nicely laid out. Is that Batman 1 behind you from Folio Society?
@getslostincomics thank you! No, the Batman #1 is a replica comic from the Batman Masterpiece Edition collector's set, which came out in 1999 or 2000.
