Can Nightguards Treat TMJ Disorder?

  • At Sleep & TMJ Therapy we have many new patients tell us they were prescribed a nightguard for their TMJ disorder / TMD. They also report that the nightguard is causing them pain and has made their condition worse. Dr. Brown dives into this topic and explains what nightguards do, his opinion on them and when to utilize nightguards in a patient's treatment plan.
    Watch this video if you want to know why night-guards are not a viable treatment option for TMJ Disorder, also known as TMD.
    In summary, night-guards are great for protecting the teeth while you sleep if you are unconsciously grinding or clenching your teeth. If wearing a nightguard is not causing you any pain and you just need nighttime protection, go ahead and wear one. However, if you have an underlying TMJ problem, wearing a nightguard will not solve the root of the problem. If you are experiencing symptoms such as a jaw pain, popping and clicking in the jaw joints, ear ringing, neck pain, locked jaw, limited opening of the mouth, snoring and waking up unrefreshed, you likely have a TMJ problem and that needs to be addressed and treated properly. We recommend conservatively treating the TMJ problem with oral appliances (such as a modified lower splint or ALF appliances) so you can fix any disc displacement in the jaw joints, cranial distortions, airway issues, muscle tension, jaw joint inflammation and the many symptoms associated with TMJ / TMD. When the jaw joints are in a stable position, it is then safe to prescribe nightguards. In our experience, most patients do not need to wear nightguards because once TMJ treatment is completed, most of our patients stop clenching and grinding at night.

      Do you also get sometimes breathing problems from TMJ? and if so, does the night guard help reduce the breathing problems from TMJ?

      @@anagracie2362 as per my experience. No . But it may reduce teeth grinding and snoring. Has nothing to do with breathing. In most cases people sleep mouth open with guard

    Wow I think I’ve finally learned my problem. I think I have sleep apnea, these past few weeks one of my limbs will jerk and I’ll wake up, sometimes feel like my body forgets how to breathe. And that’s what is likely causing my tmj issues, my masseter is tight and painful from what I assume is clenching my jaw. And it’s happening because my body is trying to breathe at night! I’ll lose some weight in bulked up right now never been this high of a body weight hope that solves the issue. You’re the first person to mention this out of all the videos I watched. You know your stuff man salute to you ❤

    Thank you for the video. The best explanation I have heard regarding mouth guard. I spoke with an local TMJ specialist back a few months ago and he stated they could make a mouth guard but did not explain how to deal with the cause. He took CT scan and gave 3 options: 1. Custom mouth guard. 2. Physical therapy. 3. Do nothing.
    I ended up by an over the counter guard that kept falling out at night. Stopped using after 1 week. I have been doing jaw exercises (UA-cam). Jaw discomfort has been more pronounced since I met with tmj specialist.
    Saw my dentist today...she recommends a custom night guard her office can make. I like how your guards do more than just protect the teeth...it helps with the root of the problem. Wife and I have relatives in DC Metro area.
    I will contact your office soon to get direction on possible next steps.
    Once again...thank you Doctor. Subscribed....

    After hearing I had TMD 11 years ago from an ENT & not an ear infection, the progression has me at the point I can't take it anymore. Trigger points appeared in my neck & shoulder 2 years ago & it went downhill quickly from there. 5 medical medical professionals couldn't remove them. Tinnitus is almost constant now in my right ear but the left has begun. They either feel itchy or as if water is trapped inside (are always clear whenever drs examine). Sounds are becoming increasingly painful & I have to wear headphones constantly to drown them out. But that means I hear my blood pressure, equally painful. My jawbone is easily felt in my right ear, especially when opening my mouth & my right jawbone clearly pops out & chin swings left when doing so. It does feel as if my skull bones are smashed up. The excruciating pain on the right side of my face has caused countless sleepless nights & now the left has begun. The pain has branched out to the entire right side of my body. I can't recall the last time I didn't have a headache, the majority migraines. I receive Botox injections for them & my neurologist says each time she has trouble getting the needles in because my muscles are so constricted. I have constant sore throats & feeling that something is stuck in it & stuffy nose. Tests always come back fine. 3 of my teeth have broken, because of clencing I was told. I finally agreed to a bite guard. It is the clear hard material, is lower on the left (even I can tell my right side is lower) but covers only my 4 front teeth. I thought it would have been the entire bottom. I wanted to live to be a very old woman, but if I have to do it like this, I can't imagine.

      Thank you for sharing your story with us. You have been though so much. Have you had an MRI of the temporomandibular jaw joints? If there is displacement of the articular discs in the joints this could be causing a lot of your symptoms (tinnitus, face and jaw pain, migraines/headaches, jaw popping, etc.). We see patients every single day with those symptoms and almost every single patient has displaced discs in the jaw joint and cranial distortions. We help treat this with the use of dental appliances. Are you able to travel to the Northern Virginia area? We would be happy to set up a time for you to meet with Dr. Brown so he can perform a thorough palpation exam. If there is an underlying TMJ problem noted, he would want to see a TMJ MRI to see the location of the articular discs so he knew how to treat you. He would also want a CBCT taken to check the cranial bones and cervical spine. It is important to know what you are treating before you give someone an appliance to wear. Regarding your hard night guard, we are happy you have something in your mouth taking pressure off of the jaw joints however, the appliances we design have coverage on the back of your teeth, not the front. The appliance height needs to be adjusted on the left and right side to balance your bite. When you open and close your mouth, your back teeth on your upper arch should be evenly hitting the lower appliance. It is not possible to balance an appliance when it is only on the four front teeth. The whole purpose of the appliance is to lower the condyles in the jaw joints to decrease compression and inflammation and give the discs a chance to move again. I hope that makes sense! Please let us know if you have any other questions for us, we are here for you. office@sleepandtmjtherapy.com Office# 703-821-1103

    Many people are asking if night guards help TMJ disorder. In most cases these devices, although well meant, can make things worse depending on the situation. If the articular discs in the jaw joints are displaced, then wearing a nightguard might allow the discs to try to go back into the socket. If that happens, then the next morning you take out the nightguard, you would bite into the discs that tried to 'recapture' proper position while the nightguard was in place. This would mean that you would now bite down on the already displaced disc. This makes things worse in so many ways. My advice is to analyze the bigger issues first before contemplating a nightguard.

    I started to grind my teeth since I got my wisdom tooth. Lower both of them were impacted. Right one was then removed. Since then my grinding and clenching got really bad. Teeth became sensitive. So I got a mouth guard made for lower teeth. This worked well getting rid of pain from teeth and sensitive improved. But my jaw line hurts so bad. TMJ join does not make any pops nor I have pain in the joint. But I have really bad facial/jaw bone pains. What should I do ? Please help

    Hello! I found this video very helpful. I’m only 24, and have had tmj symptoms really bad the last few years. I believe my jaw is severely out of place because it pops out and almost makes a zig zag pattern when I open it wide. Because of this I went to the “best” specialist in Columbus, and they gave me the hard over night sleep guard you mentioned. I wore the mouth piece religiously for the first couple months and realized it was actually getting worse. My neck now hurts and my jaw barely opens, i feel so discouraged and scared because I want to fix it but am afraid to get constructive jaw surgery or find someone that really knows their stuff. Where are you located at?

      @SleepTMJTherapyVienna  3 роки тому +5

      Hello! Thank you for watching. We are sorry to hear you are experiencing symptoms. When you feel/hear popping and clicking while opening your mouth, that means there is disc displacement of the articular discs in the jaw joints. Since this is a 24/7 problem, a night appliance will not treat the underlying issue. Also, if the appliance is not adjusted properly or balanced correctly, this could cause discomfort. Our treatment plans are conservative and the appliances are worn 24/7 until the joints stabilized and the cranial bones aligned. We do not recommend surgery because TMJ dysfunction can be fixed conservatively if the case is not severe. We would be happy to help set up a consultation for you to meet Dr. Brown to discuss this in detail. We are located in Falls Church, Virginia however, we are able to do tele-consults if that is more convenient for you. Give us a call at 703-821-1103 or you can email our office: office@sleepandtmjtherapy.com

    Hi i hope you see this.. thank you so much for this video as it was very informative.
    Basically im 18 and i have had jaw pain for the last 2,3 months now maybe even longer and its my ears that ring too sometimes, clicking of jaw, and really tender jaw pain and the bones in my mouth all hurt. Its like ive been chewing for a long time or talking or laughing and therefore my jaw and bones infront of my ears and down below them all feel tender and like tired and exhausted almost? I went to the dentist and they told me its the wisdom tooth coming in so i went to the hospital to have it removed but they took an xray and said my wisdom teeeth are not coming in and i am fine in that sense, but they have made for me a custom mouth guard which i have not yet received in the post but he didnt specifically say its tmj but he did say its an issue in the bones and muscles and alignment which i think is basically tmj? Can u confirm this for me? Im waiting on the cutsom lower teeth night guards he has made for me to come so i can start wearing them but i just wanna confirm is this tmj pain? He checked every other possibility and had a long discussion with me on all my symptoms and even took xrays, but he said this is the only issue and nothing else is wrong in the teeth/gums. Please dr confirm this for me? And how long after wearing the night guards will i feel better? Will i feel better and then it goes away forever or will it come back 😭if i eat anything remotely sweet my jaw and ear bones start to throb insanely 🥺

    4Years ago I tried to control my yawn and I felt a pop and then nothing happened. 1 hear ago I had a chewing gum and next morning my mouth wouldn't open(No pain). The doctor gave me a biscuit to wear on my upper 2 teeth which keeps a gap of 2-3mm I guess. After few days my mouth used to open normal wide. He told me to wear that biscuit always at night. But I didn't used to wear it everynight, Only when I felt discomfort. Then I lost it. Last week I bit my nails and the tmj aggravated so I again made that biscuit. I was wearing it during day also due to discomfort then I was sleeping on my right side and surfing internet on phone and something weird happed on left side jaw socket and it felt pain and as if disk was displacing and placing kind off. Not extreme pain but sharp pain. Since then I started wearing that biscuit 24/7 and remove it only while eating. So now my mouth feels tired alot and when I remove the biscuit my bite is not okay its full on left side. I have an underbite but now jaw rests on left and forward. What shall I really do ?

    • @SleepTMJTherapyVienna
      @SleepTMJTherapyVienna  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you for watching and sharing your story. It is totally normal to have an underlying TMJ problem with no pain. When the joints are popping and clicking, that is a big sign that the articular discs in the jaw joints are displaced. The biscuit or NTI device helps to take pressure off of the jaw joints however, we do not use that device in our office as it does not provide 24/7 support and it does not allow your back teeth to touch. This can cause your bite to shift/teeth to move.
      Let's assume you have disc displacement in both jaw joints causing popping and clicking. If you have disc displacement in your jaw joints 24/7, wearing an appliance for 8 hours will only help for 8 hours. What about the other 16 hours in the day? It is like wearing a cast for a broken leg for 8 hours a day..not good! To heal and repair the damage, you need 24/7 support in our opinion. In our office we recommend 24/7 support, especially when chewing. When you chew, your condyle is moving in your socket. When the joint is functioning normally, the mandible moves smoothly in the joint because the articular discs sit on top of the condyle to help it glide. If the discs are displaced, the condyle is moving and the displacement discs, tissue or ligaments are being pinched/squished, causing potential further problems. When you hear a pop or click noise it is likely the discs being squished out of place within the joint.
      At our office, we recommend having a TMJ MRI taken of both jaw joints to check for disc displacement. We then recommend you meet with a TMJ specialist. Specifically someone who helps people conservatively every day, not just once in a awhile. A full coverage modified splint or ALF appliance(s) with composite buildups are the two approaches we use most for the symptoms you described. The final determination as to which treatment plan comes from the MRI results, a palpation exam and a CBCT of the head and neck. All appliances are custom designed by Dr. Brown and help to lower the condyles in the jaw joints, which reduces inflammation, tension and helps to create more space for the articular discs to move around and function properly. Feel free to email our office should you have follow up questions at office@sleepandtmjtherapy.com . We also offer teleconsults if you would like to meet with Dr. Brown and speak with him face to face. Either way, I hope we were able to answer your questions and we are here if you need us!

      If you think there may be an underlying jaw problem, it is always best to see a TMJ Specialist so they can evaluate your symptoms and get to the root of the problem. If you don't think your jaw is moving correctly, a TMJ MRI will be able to show if there is disc displacement present. If there is, your TMJ Specialist can treat the displacement.

    For how many months already, I have been experiencing clicking of jaw, and locking of jaw everytime i eat granola. Great question! Yes, the whole body is connected. If there is an imbalance in the jaw joints, it can cause problems within neck, spine, hips, ankles, etc. If you are experiencing clicking in the jaw joints, that is a sign the articular discs in the jaw joints are out of place. That click or pop noise is your disc popping out of, and back into place. Our patients that have TMJ dysfunction have symptoms ranging from jaw pain, neck pain, back pain, muscle spasms, tics, ringing in the ears, numbing in the arms, bruxism, vertigo, breathing problems, sleeping issues, swallowing difficulties, migraines and much more. If you are able to, we recommend having a TMJ MRI taken on your jaw joints to see if there is internal displacement present.

      Thank you for reaching out. Nightguards are not a proper treatment plan if you have an underlying TMJ problem. If you do not have a TMJ/TMD problem, you can wear a night guard to bed, while working out, as needed. If you are experiencing any TMJ related symptoms, we recommend seeing a specialist to make sure the jaw joints are stable and healthy. The bruxism may be due to an underlying problem and a night guard is not going to treat that. I hope this information helps!

      Thank you so much for watching! We are sorry to hear about what you have been through. Since you are experiencing jaw cracking and pain, we would recommend that you see a TMJ Specialist so they can can treat the jaw joints. If you are noticing popping/clicking/cracking when you open in close your mouth that is a big indicator that there is displacement of the articular discs in the jaw joints. A TMJ MRI should show you exactly where the discs in the jaw joints are so your TMJ Specialist can then treat the problem accordingly.

      Wisdom tooth removal can cause TMJ/TMD issues because you are losing posterior support for the jaw joints. Taking out the teeth can make big holes and your teeth can then shift. If you do need to have the wisdom teeth removed, make sure your dentist has a plan in place to protect and support the jaw joints.

    I am confirmed to have TMJ, tinnitus and neck/back pain. I never realized they could all be connected till I saw your video. I do a lot of clenching and teeth grinding so I just got a top night guard that has a hard outside and soft inside. Because I have an overbite the mouth guard is kind of bulky where the roof of my mouth is, so my tongue doesn't easily touch the roof of my mouth. Should I take more action? Or wait to see if there are improvements to any of my health?

    • @SleepTMJTherapyVienna

      Thank you for watching our video! It is great to hear you are taking action already. In our office we do not use bulky upper nightguards as it is very important to have proper tongue seal. We also do not use upper nightguards in our office because they restrict cranial motion. Since you already began treatment, you can see if that appliance provides you relief. Take note of how you are feeling at every visit. What might also help is to see a body worker to adjust the rest of your body while your TMJ doctor addresses your jaw joints. You can see a Osteopathic Doctor for manual therapy, a Craniosacral Therapist or a Physical Therapist. Just make sure they are not doing any snapping or high maneuver moves on you. We hope you feel better soon and we are here if you need us!

      I am sorry to hear you are experiencing headaches! Have your dentist adjust the guard or create a new one for you. Your back teeth should be able to make contact with the appliance. If your dentist could make you a hard, lower, full coverage appliance to wear at night, that would be ideal. With the hard nightguards, you can adjust the surface of them and your dentist can balance the appliance so your teeth touch the appliance evenly.

      A maxillary skeletal expander (MSE) is not something we could consider as a treatment option to completely treat TMJ/TMD. Also, we do not use these appliances in our office on our patients because the appliances apply a lot of force on the body which can cause more symptoms for our patient who are already in pain. We prefer to use ALF appliances with composite turbos to decompress the jaw joints and align the cranial bones.

    I'm 17 and I really think I have tmj, my left jaw clicks when I open my mouth and one time I thought it's not going to go back to where it should be. I think it has to do with me being crossbite, is it possible that a tmj can be treated with the help of having braces? It's really scary to open my mouth like when I brush my tongue or when I'm simply going to yawn because it clicks and pops on the left side of my jaw and it's also hurting the inside of my ear.

    • @SleepTMJTherapyVienna
      @SleepTMJTherapyVienna  3 роки тому +2

      Popping and clicking in the jaw joints is a sign that there is disc displacement in the jaw joints so it sounds like you may have a TMJ dysfunction (TMD). We recommend seeing a TMJ Specialist for an evaluation. You have to make sure the jaw joints are in a stable working position before going into to braces. We have found that when people have TMD and move forward with braces, it causes more symptoms and sometimes even pain. In our practice we treat the jaw joints first and then work on cosmetics after.

      A regular mouth guard does a great job of protecting the teeth from grinding however, if you have an underlying TMJ Dysfunction, a mouth guard will not treat slipped discs in the jaw joints. If the jaw problems persist, seek out a TMJ specialist for an evaluation. Adults should open 50mm from the edge of your top front teeth to the top edge of your bottom front teeth. Children should open to 54mm, edge to edge. We hope that helps and we hope you find relief soon!

    I have severe dizzines, brain fog, vision and hearing poor, pain jaw and neck from my TMJ I believe.
    It started after a surgeon did something he shouldnt have done injections into the TMJs in operation and I woke up with all these horrible symptoms.
    A dentist made a daytime lower orthotic that I wore during the day and also while I ate but only removed to brush my teeth and removed to replace with a night time upper splint that had a ramp on it to stop jaw falling back.
    This got rid of all my symptoms but after many years of not wearing the splints as I no longer had them as broken or old....now all the symptoms worse so bad I ended up in neurological ward in hospital unable to walk Dizziness so bad and all other symptoms.
    I have no one to help make splints up again so what can I do.
    Can you tell me what type of splint do I need so I can try tell a dentist what type I need and I live in Australia.

      From my perspective, he should have only recommended that if you mentioned pain from this. Because removing wisdom teeth could help relieve a lot of the pain because it could be a part of the cause in your case. But it does not affect your jaw clicking. Luckily though if it’s just clicking, it could go away if you start being conscious of certain things right away now instead of later. Which is not clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth, and getting a custom night guard which you may have been already considering if you watched this video. Hope this helped, I suffer from TMJ major. And have for a long time.

    Can TMJ cause tinnitus? I can increase the volume of my tinnitus by clenching my jaw, opening my jaw wide open or stretching my neck. Or is it just the malfunctioning of the brain? Btw I have no hearing loss. I have short clicking sounds when moving jaw as well, but my tinnitus is non stop for half a year now. I have no pain in TMJ. Can someone ask god why are jaw nerves connected to hearing nerves in the brain? Are asymmetrical jaw bones a problem? One side of my jaw and teeth is closer than the other side. The side that is closer together is the side that has louder tinnitus. How to make my jaw bones and teeth symmetrical or its not needed?

    • @SleepTMJTherapyVienna

      Great question! We have found that our patients who are experiencing Tinnitus, have displacement of the articular discs in the jaw joints. The displaced discs cause compression of the joints, instability of the jaw joints, pinching of the surround nerves, pressure on the ear canals and swelling and inflammation in the TMJ area. So to answer your question, we do consider Tinnitus a symptom of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD). When we treat the jaw joint dysfunction by conservatively taking pressure off of the jaw joints with dental appliances, our patients say that their Tinnitus goes away. Dr. Brown actually wrote a blog on this topic recently. Click here to read: sleepandtmjtherapy.com/2020/07/the-case-of-treatment-for-tinnitus/

      Hello Danna, thank you for watching. We are sorry to hear what you are going through. Since you are experiencing jaw locking and popping/clicking in the jaw joints, we recommend seeing a TMJ Specialist for an evaluation. Usually when the jaw locks, the articular discs in the jaw joints are out of place (displaced) preventing the joints to glide or function properly. The popping sensation or noise in the joints is the articular disc moving around the jaw joint socket. A TMJ Specialist should be able to perform a screening and offer you a treatment plan to fix the TMJ Dysfunction.

      It certainly is possible as the symptoms do not always need to be while your eating or yawning. When the discs are displaced the nerves can be pinched, neck pain from the pulling to compensate, ear pain from the pressure being placed from the displaced disc. You certainly sound like you have TMD issues.

Because I didn't use the head gear my orthodontist moved my bottom teeth to make my bite right, I ended up with uneven teeth, at first was ok, but then I realized that my retainer was a bit loose between the up and bottom teeth, then when I yawn my mouth was clicking and locking and my jaw started being uneven, I didn't care much, now Im 20yrs old and my jaw is SUPER uneven. I have no idea of what to do. Will using my retainer again help? Massages? Or I should look for a decent orthodontist? The last option it's a bit out of touch right now, I accept any advice.

      Thank you for watching! Clicking and popping in the jaw joints is a sign that there is a TMJ problem. The clicking and popping sensation is your discs in your jaw joints popping out of place. Since the jaw joints are unstable, this can mess up your bite. We recommend having a TMJ MRI taken to see if there is an internal displacement of the articular discs in your jaw joints. It also sounds like you could benefit from seeing a TMJ specialist so they can make you appliances to level your cranial bones and fix the popping and clicking in your joints. If that is not an option for you, massages and craniosacral therapy will help with discomfort. If you would like to have a teleconsult with Dr. Brown, please let us know. Great question! Some people have TMJ/TMD with no pain. Since you are experiencing a click in your joints when you open your mouth, we recommend seeing a TMJ specialist so they can order a TMJ MRI for you. A TMJ MRI will let you know if your articular discs are in the correct position. In our experience, if someone's jaw is clicking or making a popping noise, that is an indicator that the joint is not functioning properly. The click or pop is the disc popping out of place in the socket. We always suggest seeing a specialist to see what is going on. That way if there is internal disc displacement, you can address it before pain or symptoms arise later on.

      I am sorry to hear you are experiencing pain and so much tenderness. From what you have explained, it would be beneficial for you to meet with a TMJ Specialist for an evaluation. If they find that you do have an underlying TMJ issue (through a palpation exam), a TMJ MRI should be ordered. With a TMJ MRI you can see the location of the articular discs and see if they are displaced. If they are, the specialist can provide you with a treatment plan.

    I am feeling better after this treatment. My question is will my TMJ pain condition return?

      @@83dvl yes it does change your bite but never worsens the jaw pain. At least it was not in my case. Pain came only when I ate hard chewy food or opened my mouth wide like as in yawning or brushing the lower and upper teeth. Be careful not to eat chewing gum or the food that causes chewing movements in which the teeth lines meet. Ensure to use splint to prevent clenching grinding . Avoid stress as it increases bruxism and also stop or decrease use of caffeinated drinks as it gets the muscles angry. I'm also putting tense machine to relax the Massateur muscle. You can watch TMJ videos for better insight. Work on forward head posture, if there. Never do chin tuck exercises. I I hope this helps.

      @SleepTMJTherapyVienna  3 роки тому

      Hello! Thank you for sharing your story. We always suggest to have a TMJ MRI taken if you have popping and clicking in your jaw joints. That sound means the articular disc(s) are not staying in the proper position. A TMJ MRI will let you know what is going on internally. If there is displacement of the discs, we suggest seeing a TMJ Specialist.

      @@brandon9831Thank you for your reply! Dentists can specialize in treating TMJ problems. Dr. Brown at our office is a Dentist and he treats TMJ and Sleep Apnea every day. Find someone who can meet with you and screen for TMJ and have a TMJ MRI taken so you can see if there is disc displacement in the jaw joints. From there, your doctor will be able to provide a treatment plan for you. In out office we use several oral appliances to treat TMJ depending on what displacement you have and the severity of the case. To answer your question about night guards/mouth guards, we do not recommend wearing night guards if you have disc displacement. If your discs are displaced 24/7, wearing a night guard 8 hours a day will not help as you would need 24/7 support to fix the problem.

    Is it true that if you have TMD you can't use regular braces? My doctor told me I have to use Invisalign in case my jaw gets worse. Also is there any website where I can get an economic professional mouth guard? They are very expensive. Thank you in advance.

    • @SleepTMJTherapyVienna
      @SleepTMJTherapyVienna  3 роки тому +1

      Braces align teeth but do not focus on treating TMJ problems. We do not recommend any sort of "teeth straightening" treatment plans when you have an underlying TMJ/TMD problem. Your doctor is likely recommending Invisalign because if you start to experience pain in the process, it is easier to remove the aligners than it is to remove braces. You must treat the jaw joints first and then worry about straightening the teeth. It is like building a beautiful house on uneven supports/foundation. It will look nice at first but it won't last long because the foundation is uneven. You must make sure the foundation (jaw joints) are in a are in the proper position before you build a beautiful house (smile). With that said, treat the jaw joints conservatively and then once that is taken care of, you can consider aligners or braces. Regarding a professional mouth guard, we do have website to recommend since everything we design in our office is custom made at the direction of Dr. Brown. I hope this helps!

      This doctor wanted to charge me $8,000 for whatever he was going to use to treat my jaw TMD problem….. Anyways he made me waste my $500 dollars because he recommended some specific MRI even though I had one already. And then he charge me another $100 to read the MRI scan. At the end, I never went back to the office again.
