    I just wanted to write this note of gratitude to thank you for how you are changing my life. I work out 7 days a week, but would never stretch. I have extremely tight hamstrings and I have never been able to come close to touching my toes. I have recently learned that tight hamstrings can cause lower back pain, something that I suffer from daily. I found one of your videos on youtube to help stretch my hamstrings. I did the video every day for over a month and yesterday I wanted to see if I made any improvement, not expecting to get anywhere close to my toes. But to my surprise, I was able to touch my toes!!! That small victory was such an amazing feeling and validated all the hard work I have been doing!

    Good morning😊 I did this workout. I’m so thankful for you and your work. I’m getting more flexible, leaner and stronger. I’m 51 now and this is something I always wanted to do, take care of me. There is a time and a place for everything. I’m thankful to God that I’m alive and healthy. God Bless🙏🏻🤗

    Thank you so much for this video. I’ve just started working out after leading a very sedentary lifestyle. I’ve incorporated yoga into my workout schedule as well, but my hamstrings have still been tight. This really helped relieve them and also thank you for the idea for using books for blocks, I felt the stretches much more deeply because I wasn’t so focused on staying balanced or my form. Thank you again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

      Yoga With Bird do you think it would be ok do do this twice a day. After the first week that is. I don’t want to overdo it.

      Only you know what your body needs 🙏🏼😊 Completely safe if your body feels good to do this routine twice daily, it is a short one but do listen to the body.       Yoga With Bird this are both great thank you so much. It’s slow going but everyday it’s getting better. I’m hamstrings are so painful and tight I still can’t reach the blocks so I’m using a small low side table. Being really careful not to hurt my back in the process of trying to stretch out the hamstring. A VERY HAPPY MOTHERS DAY🙏🏼😊📿

    Do i warm up with some jumping jacks or skipping first before attempting this or could i just follow along

      You can but it’s not necessary. You should listen to the body and not exceed your edge or sensation of just a gentle stretch.

    When I did the hip flexor relaxation at 02:22 my lower back cracked (lol). And by the way, I thought I subscribed to you I guess I missed it. I probably need some yoga for my fingers (lol)

      definitely! that is often the area that stops us from touching our toes :) Slow and steady, keep consistent :)

    What happen to beginners poses? That first pose is not for beginners i am not flexible at all

      Hi! Even some basic beginner poses wont work for everyine as each body and skeletal structure is unique. I gave 2 ways you can do the first pose. Either keep your foot on the mat or hug it in if the body allows it.
      If this is still too intense then skip it. Theres nothing wrong with skipping any poses that dont work for you. Its also important not to focus on what it looks like because each pose will look different on everyone.
      Please know that we cannot do every yoga pose because they simply arent made for every-body. There are many poses i skip too. Hope this offers a different perspective into the practice and I appreciate feedback as it helps me do better as a teacher.
