I totally missed this video somehow and totally forgot that I sent it to you in that box. Glad you liked it! It’s super unique and robust. All that wear is from me and the previous owner. Cool thing about a2 is how it patinas.
Looks like a good user. Kinda feels like it’s 80% done though (stiff action, pocket clip placement, blade grind, etc). I’m digging the looks of it though.
This is one of his really early ones too tbf. I’ve got a couple others from more recently and they are more refined. I think this one is like the 12th he made or something?
@ that’s fair, it looks like a pretty awesome knife though! I like seeing these more uncommon knives. In spite of my previous comment, it looks like it’s made very well!
@ Absolutely! Didn't think you were throwin shade about his work, just wanted to state that it was very early in his knife building career. I love seeing weird small makers too, as well as collecting them obviously.
I thought it was just ok until I saw the chisel grind and harpoon 😮 It's surprising how confident you are about the one knife you would keep out of your whole collection. Most people have a hard time answering that and are kind of wishy washy even if they can decide on just one.
@@lando8913 thanks I did a whole video as to what knife would keep if I could only keep one. Might want yo check out that video to get more of my thoughts.
When the video started I really didn’t like the design. After watching through, I get strong strider vibes as well ,and I think that the textured g10 looks great. The blade design is super unique. I agree with you though it looks like it would benfit with bearing greatly
I'm finding I prefer to have a backspacer. Incase I put anything else in my pocket it doesn't damage the edge. Ive put a mirror polished edge on and chipped it the same day😒
Those grinds are awesome!!! Never heard of this maker…would definitely look into them…..this knife would make an awesome user…I don’t like the front flipper…the handles bottom part reminds me of strider knives…overall it’s a cool knife!!!
While the action is slip-sticky with Teflon, they are self lubricating and should be completely maintenance free. (not saying I would prefer them personally tho :))

It's not my style, but I can definitely appreciate the knife and the craftsmanship of it. Thanks for showing it off.
It definitely meets and exceeds the rule of cool for me. I’d carry it and use it for sure.

Thanks for the new maker info. I wonder if he does a full Ti version. That would be up my alley. Great video as always 🤙🏾
I know Christian has done a few full ti versions, but my understanding is that they are reallllly damn heavy lol.
Thing looks like a beast of a user, especially with the chisel grind
It has a cool unique look to it, I like the blade finish
I have seen Valentino showing his off. They look like beasts and that’s definitely my style. Haven’t had a chance to handle one yet 🤘🤘
@@satudave absolutely right up your alley.
Really like this, wish he had a website other than facebook, what do they cost?
@@Damen0530 not sure on pricing.
Elias, cool knife 👌👌
Unique and definitely different.
Really like this one, I don't even mind the action.👌
Looks cool. I've never seen a pocket clip centered on the handle before😂
Very cool!
Pretty cool! Great video 👍
I like it a lot.
I'm going to have to check them out

@@Obsidian-One I generally like bs prover’s over barrel spacers myself.
This one's pretty cool. Never heard of them before. Definitely wish it was on bearings and got rid of the chisel grind.
@@JoeyH832 nothing wrong with the chisel grind.
@DirkWerning ya I know they perform good. I'm just not a fan on the way they look.

@@gurgurpalmann2047 completely agree.
Cool looking user, chisel grinds just make me go HUH ? Not my thing but they have a place in the cool knife world 😃
Thanks for sharing, do you think it would be better with Skiffs? Either their bearings or washers?
@@barboki perhaps. Bearings would make this a lot smoother but…it’s an overbuilt user type knife. Don’t need drop shut or any fancy action really.
interesting knife. I've never experienced that grind I dunno if its my jam as yet.
That's exactly what I thought about Emerson alike. I don't like chisel grind blades. The knife definitely looks like a hard user.
Very Nice
I dig it, but the pocket clip placement is baffling to me.
@@badmunkyedc1 it is interesting some if the things people come up with.
What is it about the overbuilt thing that is constantly attractive. Calls you back when you think youve moved on. Very godfather
@@jason_jay3868 so true lol.
Use your knives!
Why would a maker choose teflon washers on purpose? Obviously this maker has the skill and equipment to make his own bronze bushings. Why didn't he?
@@meanderinoranges bronze washers you mean. They are just washers. Lololol.
But there are pros/cons between teflon, phosphor bronze sad bearings.
@DirkWerning bushings, washers, whatever. He has the ability to machine them, why does he stick with teflon?

My custom Folts has teflon also.
That thing looks like it should be carried and maybe even was carried in Nam...
