    I firmly believe the kingquad, 400 is the best ATV in his class. It has been super reliable for me and has been a literally unstoppable. I’ve literally had it on double black diamonds in at Windrock with two people on it and it just pulls really good as a matter fact the stock tires are super great too. Too underrated! 11:18

    Was thinking about a Brute Force 300, but for an extra grand you get a lot more with the Suzuki.

    Besides Fuel inj, this is basically identical to my 2003 Suzuki Eiger. The Eiger is a hell of a machine. I plow with it and it goes through almost anything. I say almost because the last snowstorm of 13" of heavy wet snow showed its limits.

    Great machine I ended up with a 24 Kodiak 450 brand new for 6250. I liked the ride and stance a lot better than the king quad but it was a beautiful machine.

      Yes and No lol Depends on one's definition of skid plate. Yes, they do technically come with a poly (plastic) underbelly skid plate. They do NOT come with a steel or aluminum skid plate, unfortunately.

      @@benattwiggcycles Wow, i guess with its small displacement its understandable. We usually go riding and put that much on in a full day, if not more. I guess the machine is aimed towards working and not ling distance trail riding. Either way, great machine.

    Looking to buy my 1st atv for hunting…toss up between the king quad 400, the outlander 450 and the kodiak 450. What would be the best? All about the same price point

    • @benattwiggcycles
      @benattwiggcycles  Рік тому +1

      I’d be lying to you if I said I knew anything about the Can Am 450. I do wonder why it’s so much cheaper than the Kodiak or the King Quad but I cannot provide an educated answer for the Can Am. The Kodiak and King Quad however are both amazing machines. The biggest notable difference between those machines is the fact that the Kodiak offers independent suspension, and power steering. The King Quad is a straight axle and does not offer power steering. They just started adding diff lock to the Kodiak models as well. However, the Kodiak are going to put your closer to the $7500 and up price point. King Quads start out $6,900 roughly.
      I’ll be honest, the KQ and the Kodiak you can’t go wrong with. However if you’re trail riding, for the $500-700 more, the Kodiak is going to offer the rider a much better experience.

      @@benattwiggcycles thanks for the feedback! It will basically be for very light trail riding but mostly dragging deer out of the woods, hauling bait and towing a disc when I plant my food plots for deer hunting..I’ll do some more research before I decide, thanks again

    • @benattwiggcycles
      @benattwiggcycles  Рік тому

      @@jeremyjames249 You’re certainly welcome!!! Happy to help! Yeah the Kodiak or King Quad would definitely do the job. Kodiak would be nice since it’s independent suspension but the solid axle on the king quad makes for better pulling. Either way you’ll be making a great choice!

      You've probably already made your purchase but the 450 kodiak is great. Has great towing capability (same as a grizzly 700) and is very stable. Good on fuel too.

    Growing up in the 5 speed era, I simply have not been able to adapt to CVTs. I know they have gotten better than those horrible 90s Polaris models but to me, CVTs always sound like they are lugging or slipping. Foot shift for me.

      Suzuki and Yamaha have pretty good cvt set ups. The drive belt it always tight. There is an internal centrifugal clutch that operates the cut system. Better response at low speeds and much better engine braking. Still a manual is the way to go.
