got a 94 quad runner 250 LOL the 1000's cant keep up with me in the trails, specially on turns... Mud...they weight too much, i just float across lol Just bought a 2023 king quad yesterday though lol
These mid range machines are awesome. I'm 265 lbs and rock a 450 Kodiak. It takes my big butt anywhere my eyes look and I want to go (almost 😂). I've owned honda, Suzuki, and now yamaha. Depending on the year and the deal I can get, I'll drive any of them. Not a fan of electric shift, dont mind manual foot either but love automatic cvt. I wouldn't mind buying a 2023 king quad 400. Found some places local that have a sale on them. Like always, making room for new inventory.
Yea I miss my yamaha 350 and 700. But my group I ride with all went 4x4 so couldn't afford to keep both at the time plus just tonhave it sitting there didn't make sense to keep it. But I will get another 350 and try to do a build series on it.
I prefer a little more power lol.. but yes any size for the most part can make through this kinda trail. I would worry more about what tire to run over power though.
I prefer Polaris and Honda, but you can't go wrong with a king quad. I really wish they would bring back the 3 range 5 speed transmission back. That 250/300 is small but with super low, it'll move the world. Could you imagine how powerful it would be if it had that with a 750 axi engine?
Would be awesome to have 3 range 5 speed transmission on a 4x4. With the 750 he would diff need more aggressive trail tires to keep them from over spinning

What year was that King Quad 400?
Pretty awesome
Might be 2021 or 2022.
Seems like a 400 or 300 quad are the perfect size for this kind of riding. Good size and power, Your thoughts?

I have ITP mudlites and winch on my 400 it goes through alot. Its better in the woods on the tight narrow trails. And they cost alot less new.
