The way Guy kicks to the sound of the bell perfectly to end the song. Incredible, unmatched levels of tightness. They all felt each others vibe so well
Ian is my favorite guitar player to watch live. He makes the guitar look fun. I used to set up my 4 foot amp in my house and play the guitar right in front of the speaker as loud as possible. Gnarly feedback. Thank you Ian and thank you Fugazi!
This joke doesn't really work when you have to clarify which singer you're referring to. She wouldn't already know either vocalists name if you were introducing them to her.
@@danielhosking7257 are you kidding? Fugazi is a straight edge band. And honestly, I don't think that anyone doing heroin would be delivering this kind of performance. This Fugazi dude, Guy, is 🔥
to think nirvana had to "stage" the smell like teen spirit video..FUGAZI owned the reality of a teen audience losing themselves in the moment..sheer brilliance..
LOL this is so unfair...! Teen spirit is an official video to be consumed! yet the video was edited and altered by Cobain himself, because he thought the scenes that were in the video were forced...! and he reedited the video with footage that had been dropped... just to capture the genuine parts! You can't deny the genius of that music video! Still badass and relevant 30 years later.
Actually this is what the band wanted. The audience paying attention, and not kicking the shit out of each other. I saw 'em in the early summer of '89, and they stopped the show several times to try and keep people from slamming. they also handed out lyric sheets for the new songs (the margin walker ep) they were playing.
Guy KILLED this performance. Fuckin' right dude! Such heart and such showmanship.
Ian swinging his guitar back and forth in front of that amp is the best thing ever.
Epic. The most underrated band of all time. And the best live band I’ve ever seen.
underrated? on the contrary. They are legends

No other band keeps my attention the way these guys do. Watching Fugazi play is akin to having an out of body experience.
If you’re on shrooms, yeah, which I am at the moment 👍🏻🍄
could be one of the best rock drummers in history. love Canty sob
The combination Brendan + Joe has to be one of the tightest, most intense and powerful rhytmic sections in rock music I swear. Terrific band
@@Raitor33Had the privilege to see them play at a Messthetics show last week. One of the best performances I’ve ever seen
what a rad era for music
For real
Forever love for these boys! Integrity and spunk with regards to unknown bands on their tours.
Ian telling the crowd to move back at the start... here it comes!
Ian once wrote to me, "the gang of four suck." He obviously didn't think that very long/
could you please elaborate? Sounds interesting
@@alequaranta Fugazi was strongly influenced by Gang of Four.
@@michaelgraham9774 yeah I see, but I was curious to know more about the context in which he wrote that to you.
Ian's the most underrated guitarist, dude's a genius
Grande attitudine. Pezzo meraviglioso.
maravilha da natureza
needs more of that cow bell
I need the rest of this show pls..
trop fort super groupe
2023 s0ounds agreeable..
I showed this to an exGf who had never heard Fugazi. She told me, I really like you but I would hook up with Guy the singer in a mean second.

@@kingcobrajfsofficial He was probably clarifying for her. It's likely that when he showed her this clip, she just said "the singer".
So she likes guys who look like they slam heroin? Nice

@heavyminded09 you're perfectly right!
is there anymore footage from this show?

flintlock combination

And i though neil young played the one note riff for way too long haha.
This is the whole summary and precursor of the punk
come back, fugazi...please
Was the audience given tranquilizers before the gig?
