Very Enjoyable! You Have a Really Nice Voice. It has a David Attenborough Quality to it (Did I get the Right Attenborough?). I Learned More about Georgian Furniture (I Love the History.). It's a Lovely Restoration. I Don't Think I'm into ASMR but It was Nice Watching You Gently scrape away the Varnish. Your Apprentice Seems Enthusiastic. Everybody is Getting One these Days.
@@RhooseRestorations It hasn't where I live. Georgian in particular, is phenomenally expensive here. That table would easily sell for $1000, probably more.
Oh, yes!!! SO HAPPY to see you using the color dyes as a corrective. Very, very, very good stuff. Beautiful. Here we would call that a 'gateleg' table. Thanks for the video.
@@pabloantelo2946 Hola Pablo, acabo de agregar traducciones para español y español (Latinoamérica), por lo que deberían ser más precisas que las traducidas automáticamente. Cuando tengas un minuto, ¿podrías comprobarlos por mí? 😇
What a charming little table! I really appreciate that you do your best to restore the original finish, but I do enjoy some nice bubbly stripper! Your apprentice is adorable.
When do you determine it is appropriate to sand a piece? I’ve seen people who seem to be experts of restoring and they never sand- only scrape, strip, and repair. Then I’ve seen other people who also seem to be experts of repair/refinish go full-on sanding.
I think the answer is don't sand unless you have to. I prefer to scrape, strip and sand in that order. Sanding can remove the bumps and scrapes of a lifetime and make things look as new. You can also sand straight through veneer very quickly. Scraping is great on smaller pieces but after a certain size it's impractical. You mostly end with a very light sand but not to remove any finish.
I love your accent. What part of the world are you from??? You have a subscriber here who has now put it on always so I can watch ALL of your broadcasts!
I was born in Stoke on Trent, spent ten years in the NE of England and have been in Wales for the past 45 years. So my accent is a bit of a mongrel one!!
Great job!!
Perfectos los subtítulos en español.
Gracias .!!!!
@pabloantelo2946 ¡Excelente! Trabajo para una empresa española en el Reino Unido, ¡así que necesito cuidar de mis amigos hispanohablantes!

Nicely done 👍
Thank you
Nice work friend with the help of your little helper, have a nice day all !!!. 😀😀👍👍🏁.
Thanks 👍
Loved the narration.
Thank you, it was a bit nerve wracking but I'm sure it will get better!!
Your apprentice is going to be a heartbreaker in a decade or so. It’s always encouraging to see the next generation getting involved in restoration.
Just like his sister, the workshop manager!! 😁
You gave it a new life. Beautiful little table.
Thanks for taking a look

Thanks for listening, and the comparison to David Attenborough 😊
Excellent job ❤
Thank you! 😊
Um belo trabalho de recuperação. GOSTEI DE ASSISTIR SEU VÍDEO.
I can't believe you bought an actual Georgian table, for 15 quid. Incredible!
Great job, too 👍
You and me both! Antique furniture has dropped in value considerably over the past few years.

Thanks very much! Colour correcting when you don't know what colour it is to begin with is quite a challenge!! 🙂
@@RhooseRestorations Good stuff, i love it!
Very lovely restoration. Please continue the voice overs; I think your voice is very soothing! Also your junior partner is quite the looker!
Thanks 👍
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
What a lovely find and a beautiful restoration!! Thank you for sharing!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It was a very, very nice restoration, Tim. And thank you for the Turkish subtitles, it is very good 🙏👌👌❤️
Thanks, I thought that the subtitles were worth trying! They are taken from my script so some of the automatic translation errors are solved 😁😁
@@RhooseRestorations Great 😁 By the way, you reached 1,000 subscribers, congratulations 😊

What a beautiful voice you have!! Loved the restoration. A big hug from Chile
Thanks for listening! 😊
What a lovely find. It turned out to be a perfect brown.
Thanks, it's always a bit of a lottery when you are colour blind!!
Great to hear your voice!!
It will take a while before I'm confident, it never sounds like your own voice when you hear it back!!
Great voice over 🎉
Thanks, it's a bit nerve wracking first time out!!
Buenas tardes, los subtítulos se activan perfectamente.
Muchas gracias muy buen trabajo.

What a steal, $15
It certainly was!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you very much!
Hi, the result is nice. Only the polyurethane glue to stick the legs’ ends was not so ethical ;-)
Sometimes you have to compromise!
The red was not offensive Mahogany is expected to be red anyway.
That's true but the rest of the table was much less red, so it looked a bit out of keeping. Thanks for watching.
