- Just outside Bella Vista is Tanyard Creek Park. While walking the trails, I reflect on our experience so far and touch on some frustrations. We are continuing to adjust and overcome challenges as we settle in Arkansas.
Hey there! I live about 5 minutes from Tanyard. Moved here from California 2 years ago. I feel like BV is a hidden gem and I’m so glad I discovered this magical place. Winter is the hardest for me because of the cold. But spring, summer and fall is just amazing to me. I love the greenery everywhere. The wildlife around here is amazing as well.
Thank you for sharing your video. My wife and I are moving to Bella Vista from Roseville, northern Ca in the next two months to enjoy our new retirement and the reason for the move is to be more in control of our life and to be with family and enjoy the "Natural" state.
Moved from N California to Texas after losing everything in wildfire. Love your attitude and it gave me some ways to think of my life now. Gratitude for sure. Texas is amazing and close to AR. Daughter moved to Rogers. Blessings to you and your family.
Im so sorry you lost everything, I can’t imagine how difficult it was to move across the country after such a devastating loss.
It’s been an adjustment being in the southern heat after being in Montana for 10 years, especially as we move deeper into the summer months. I’m glad you enjoyed the video and I wish you and your family the best.
We left Las Vegas to come to Arkansas 16 years ago . Life is unfolding like a flower . I also reflect about the change from big city to rural Arkansas . Some cultural shock but a whole lot of nature helps in the process of change. enjoyed your video

Just moved to BV and really looking forward to exploring. Enjoyed the video and you said several things that I can really identify with.

I feel very similar. We left Colorado after 6.5 years for similar reasons:
Unaffordability
High cost of living
Overcrowding and traffic
Rude people
Political insanity
Sometimes we miss Colorado. Sometimes we want to be back there…
However……… All things being said, we've found a beautiful little gem here haven't we? NW Arkansas is a beautiful place and the Ozarks have a ton to explore and discover.
I greatly appreciate the comment. The Rocky Mountains and vast wilderness within them were my sanctuary and I’m pursuing finding places of solace and serenity here in Arkansas. I’m sure as I continue to explore this amazing place I’ll find what I’m looking for.
@@joshuawhiteadventurefilms Plenty of places in the Boston Mountains and Down near the Buffalo River (Jasper/Ponca etc) that I think you'll really like.
God works in ways you not even think. Maybe it's for the best. It's interesting how you feel about Montana but did you know that you are living my dream. Which is to live in Arkansas. I'm in a big city abd been praying for years to get Arkansas. God is doing something in people's lives there is,alot of change even in my life and many more. Hang in there and pray for guidance if you seek it Jesus will guide and help you see the purpose of why you are there.
I’m humbled by your comment. We do feel that God led us here for a reason. I have felt a sense of guilt regarding my sentiments knowing that our frustration could be someone’s dream and you validated that. At the time of this video, I was between careers and felt a loss of control over our situation. I was reluctant to make a video at that time, but felt it necessary to convey my genuine sentiments to illustrate struggles are part of life. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to comment and appreciate your sentiments.
