I'm a complete beginner. I started with your dishcloth pattern last week and just finished this tonight, thank you for making such easy to follow tutorials!
@@prettydarnadorable these are so fast to make I just 2 more! One for me and my mom! Now I’m gonna make beanies for me,my sister, mom, dad and grandparents!
Love this. I need a sun visor when I walk each afternoon, don't know if that is possible to crochet. Do you know if there is a pattern out there? I haven't found one. Maybe I'll just put the headband over the visor I use now. thanks.
I imagine if you added a the brim part from a newsboy cap you would get what you need - however I think your idea is the best one and will offer the most protection from the sun
I just want to say that working with a thicker yarn is better because I’m working with a four medium and it’s really not that great so I might suggest a thicker yarn like the one that’s in the video just my opinion
I really struggled with this because it wasn’t really for beginners. A real beginner tutorial, would talk you through all of the types of stitches (instead of assuming you know all of them) and wouldn’t skip ahead because beginners are going to follow along. I can’t tell you how many times I had to rewind this video to try to figure out what the next step was and where to put the next stitch. It was really annoying. I appreciate video tutorials like this, but I feel like calling it beginner level was very misleading, because it took forever for me to get to where the pattern repeats because it went too fast and didn’t explain things well enough. I have followed along fine on other videos for beginners and have made some cool things, so I am comparing this to other beginner videos.
thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I truly appreciate your honesty and perspective. I'm sorry for the frustration you experienced while trying to follow along with the tutorial. Your insights are incredibly valuable, and I'll definitely take them into consideration for future videos. I aim to improve and provide more detailed explanations, especially for beginners, to ensure a smoother learning experience. Thank you again for your constructive criticism, it will truly help me make better videos in the future!
Thanks! I am very new, but I have made a washcloth and three baby hats with teddy bear ears. I want to crochet an adult headband to match the baby hats (for a matching mother and daughter look), but I still have a lot to learn. I may try your video again once I don't have to look up the different stitches because it's really cute and it sounds like other people were able to follow along better than I was. For me, it was a little too fast and advanced, but I will get there soon, hopefully. @@prettydarnadorable
