    Just started this pattern from the written one. Glad I came to look at the video. In the written pattern, it says to ch1 before starting on the DC row. But in the video you chain 2 which makes a lot of sense when starting a row of DC. The pattern is easy and yet interesting texture.

    This works up beautifully. Could you tell me why the side where the first row is has no give (not stretchy like ending row side) on ear warmer patterns? Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Thank you!

    May I suggest you do a pattern for a dolman (batwing) sweater with ribbed or fitted bands?

      Charlene G I’m working on something similar as a cardigan. It’s worked in one piece from the side across. It should be out in a few weeks

    Can we make these an sell our work at the Markets. I'm asking just in case you don't want us to make a profit. profit. Another thing why does everyone use mm sizes on the hooks, so confusing from the Letters.
    Very cute. Thank you for sharing

    • @mjsoffthehook
      @mjsoffthehook  4 роки тому

      Gail Wagoner yes you can sell your items at markets. All you need to do is google crochet hook chart conversion and it will tell you the the metric, US and UK. My memory does better with metric but all my written patterns include metric and US.

    What would yarn #5 be for chains?

  • @kjc-jw4ei
    @kjc-jw4ei 4 роки тому

    Hello, to make the headband bigger does the foundation chain have to be an even number? Also, thank you for this tutorial I'm trying to make a headband for a friend but my chunky yarn didn't look good with other patterns that I was looking at.

    My first line of chain stitch ends up being a lot tighter than the rest, I am a newbie to crocheting, any tips?

    Can you use any yarn to make these? Or just bulky yarn. Love this.

    • @mjsoffthehook
      @mjsoffthehook  4 роки тому +2

      Marietta Billings I would suggest super bulky yarn or you’d have to modify the starting chain and # of rows

      Gail Wagoner under the video you’ll see the video heading. Go to the right and you’ll see a little arrow pointing downwards. Click on that and the description box will open up 😊
