I do have the 18, 24, 35 all 2,8, the 45 (1,8) and just bought this particular one, the 75 (1,8). All of them bought second hand for a very good price. And I really love them all. Sharp (more than enough) and extremely lightweight. And decent autofocus on my A7 rll. Those mostly used are the 18 and 45, and I for sure know the 75 will be used alot. And thanks mr. Jeong for a great review, which I completely agree!
I have the 18mm, 24mm, and 35mm 1.8. I love them all and use the 18mm and 35mm the most. I recently pick up the Sony 35mm 1.4 gm and the lightness of the 1.8 is sometimes worth the trade of the 1.4.
this 75 is one of my favourite lenses ive used both for stills & video , I own the 45mm & have tried the 35mm & absolutely love em, the rendering on them is very unique & for the price is incredible . not sure if you have tried their 85mm F1.4 , now that for me is as good as the Sony batis or even better
Thanks for this vid, earned a sub! :D I have the A7C with tamron 17-28, mainly for travel and vlogging (as you said, when we can do that again). Thinking of maayyybe switching it out for Samyang 18 2.8 as I just got the Samyang 45 1.8, and was impressed with it! And this for better reach. Then I would have 18mm, 45mm and 75mm, and with crop mode turned on I can fill the gaps in between. Would be a small setup that would fit most needs I think!
I have the amazing Samyang AF 24mm f1.8 FE, which has to be Samyang's best lens to date. It was released back in June 11, 2018 so it would have been available to you when you made this video, which makes it a real shame you didn't include it. It easily matches the sharpness of Sony's 24mm f1.4 GM, right across the frame, but it actually has less CA at edges of frame, better controlled flare when shooting into bright lights, and it's a massive 275g lighter than the GM (It weighs exactly the same weight as the Samyang AF 75mm f1.8 FE (230g)...Technically then, you could say the Samyang is actually the better lens, yet is costs less that 1/3rd the price! Unlike the 75mm it is designed for astrophotography, it's weather sealed, great for vlogging, and it's perfect for street photography and landscapes too...It's really is a must have lens.
This is great news, thank you. Do the images have a slight yellow tint (warm)? My Samyang 85mm f/1.4 definitely provides very warm images compared to my Batis 85mm and Sigma 85mm. Thank you. (I love that focal length!)
Samyang 75mm is strangely good for its weight and size, heck even the price. It's not perfect but it's pretty dam sharp (though not as sharp as the GM or Sigma but heck, too sharp is bad for portraits)

I wish they also make more for EF mounts too. These days it seem Samyang going go all out with FE mounts lens.

I own this lens along with the 18mm, and 35mm f1.8. What I don't like the minimum focus distance on all of them.
It says the minimum focus distance for the 18 and 35mm are 25 and 29cm I feel like that's not too bad?
Get an extension tube. I originally bought mine for the 55ZA which has a pathetic MFD. They are easy to carry too.
