In this tyflow vfx tutorial I'm going to walk you through the process of setting up gradual, fully controlled, and procedural destruction of the dragon head from Game of Thrones. First, we're going to use voronoi fracture to break the dragon into separate pieces, then turn those into PhysX shapes using tyflow's physx shape operator, and then using a surface test and property test to control when the fractured pieces should start breaking away.
By the end of this tyflow tutorial, you will have a solid understanding of tyflow's destruction capabilities, allowing for a variety of demolition effects and advanced destruction fx. Use #redefinefx on instagram to share your work with the tyflow community.

Great tutorial! I learn a lot from it! I have a question - if i want to do this kind of destruction but with animated character or object, what i settings i need to change to be able use this destruction system for an animated object? Do you have any tutorial which will explane this? Thank you very much in advance for possible answer and/or tips !

Thank you for the tutorial...looks good!!!
the render looks smooth...not sure how did you solve the explicit normals issue.
I didn’t. The head area of the dragon just didn’t have many issues.
Incredible and very informative... Could you make some marvel Studios avengers end game character powers and suits up vfx recreation tutorial

I tried to do it but I stayed trying to place the lights because when I tried everything it looks dark, where you see it illuminated, the model looks total darkness to me, I couldn't continue, I have the V-Ray 6 no I know what happens!

Hi! I've a question maybe OT. Do you think that with TyFlow is it possible to replicate motion graphics tasks that is possible to accomplish with Mograph? Thanks
Yes
plzz make on video of bridge breake in tyflow plzz
Request noted
I don't use 3ds max because simply I can't afford it so can I follow these courses and tutorials for other 3D softwares like blender?
Well...tyflow only exists for 3Ds Max
I’m not seeing the game of thrones style course on the website anywhere, does it still exist?
No longer available, sorry about that
Thanks for replying, I'm a huge fan of your work. Would love to see them somehow comeback. Appreciate you!
but what about gravity
Everything was working Great,When I Tried Applying Auto Key To The Camera and went To frame 100,3ds Max Crashed.Even When i Tried Rendering Without The Camera,It crashed at 50th Frame :/
Specs:
i5 4460 3.20ghz
8Gb RAM
Nvidia GTX 960 4GB
Win7 64bit
3ds max ver 2019
Really not sure what the issue is. Make sure you have newest version tyflow. 8gb ram is not a whole lot.
@@RedefineFX Or Should I Try Making It(Dragon Model) as a Vray Proxy?
how much time take to render this ????
I rendered it on Chaos Cloud and it took about 3 minutes
Bro can you please tell me What’s your system requirement??
I7 quad core 64gb ram 1070gtx
@@RedefineFX 🤐
Did you use a synthesized voice to record the video?
I don't ... ?
after animation how to make video you not show how to make plz make video
Please watch some introductory 3Ds Max tuts
Professionally it's useless to learn Tyflow? Lot of people tell me that Houdini is the unique used software on the VFX industry
I don’t really engage in software debates but it really depends on what you want your life to be, where you want to work and what type of projects you want to work on.
Just try to destroy the whole city without houdini)
