First of all thanks for the tutorial, second i had a problem in the 2 part , Detail part, the problem that i have was it the flow update + sufrace test, 6:30 for some reason the topolgy of the mesh keeps change becouse of the surface test distance , so the subdivide operator do not stay in the mesh ,only show up for 2 or 3 frames when the ball gets close then dissapear, , well i fixed by changing the second flow update to ON EVENT ENTRY in timing tab ( before was in CONTINUOUS) i took a litlle bit of time to figure out, but maybe can be useful if someone have this problem as well, anyway thanks for the tutorial.

When I use edge fracture it doesn't change anything, I tried increasing the parameters but nothing, can't use it whatsoever . Anyone has the same issue ? Using Max 2020
i find this to be very intresting and want to recreate it , but when i apply edge fracture and turn off fracture edges , my result seems very different from yours . instead of creating more detailed fractures at the edges my edge fractures are often overlapping and appear just overall different , really want to follow this tutorial so if you can help out .

Great tutorial. I learnt a lots, for the “detail” Tyflow set, the subdivide only work when the sphere touching the box. After the sphere passing through the box, all subdivide is gone. Do you know the reason in my case? Did I do sth wrong in Surface Test? Thanks
Can you explain how none of your particles dance around on the floor after your simulation collides with the floor? Ive followed along step by step and my chunks on the floor just keep jumping around.
@@imahikavfx can you make a flow within tyflow sa that the pieces assemble back without the retimer ? only with operators from tyflow; i assume that in your video, the pieces assemble with the help of the reverse playback motion(retimer); can this be done with a flow inside tyflow?

Put only the export node in the flow that you want to be cached
