Ulanzi MT-44 Tripod: The BEST Travel Tripod for Mirrorless Camera?

Today I'm sharing the best tripod for travel photography for your small mirrorless camera and your smartphone, the Ulanzi MT-44 tripod. It is a small, compact, easily collapsible content creator style tripod that surprisingly works well for travel photography, especially for capturing B-rolls videos, taking photo or video of yourself, taking group photos, using it as a lightstand for your portable light or flash.
Many people think that for travel photography, you will need a proper full size dedicated photography tripod, but this Ulanzi MT-44 tripod really changes my perspective regarding travel photography tripod.
The only drawback of this tripod is that it's not suitable for long exposure photography as it is not meant to be used for that purpose, although you can still use it for slow shutter photography in a pinch if you really need to.

Cool design! I have a smaller, shorter version, the MT-73 and found it still pretty useful to stabilize hand-held video. Open the legs press them against the chest, and flip the camera to point horizontally. It looks a bit weird, but it reduces shake if you just turn your body to pan. Also it’s good for low angle video shots; just record upside down and flip in post. It’s so small that it’s easy to carry in a small bag, like your MT-44.

Hello from New York City! Came to the same conclusion on the MT44 is the same as you. Its a really unique product in the market. Using MT44 to hold the Lumix GX1 for unattended video shooting for stage performances while keeping Lumix GH2 handheld to take still photos. It works well. By the way, do you have any recommendations on ND, graduation ND and polarizing filter system for outdoor and travel shooting that is economical, decent quality, easy to use and can fit in a small travel bag?
