I wish they’d update some of the really compact bodies.

As a long time m43 user that always prefers the longest focal length I can get away with, I find your comment very accurate :)

Price - I need a camera with very high burst rates, a stacked sensor and top-notch stabilisation. That makes the OM-1 (mark i or ii) the most budget friendly option on the market.
It also gives me a ton of features other manufacturers didn’t get around to copying yet.
Additionally, none of my Olympus gear ever died on me, no matter the conditions.

This video proves once again that talent and skill will make any shortcomings in image quality irrelevant. These are stunning images, and unless you're going to make wall size enlargements I don't see any major advantage to using full frame or larger formats.

MFT is one of the easiest formats to adapt vintage lenses to, especially the ones with a smaller circle.
On a side note, I'm having trouble hearing your voice over the music in the intro and outro.

    There's always a reason to use MFT. Whether it's a GM1 or GH7. ;)

I shoot with APS-C, Full Frame, & Micro 4/3, depending on the situation & my mood. I particularly like Micro 4/3 for walkaround street shooting, for the size/weight & especially the greater depth of field it offers. I walk around with a wide angle set at f8 or f11, rarely giving focus much thought.

Gary: we love your inspirational videos but in this one, when there is music, it is so loud that we cannot hear your voice or the music "blows out" our ears so we cannot understand you for a few more sentences... is there any way to fix this issue? Thanks

Hello from New York City! Please help me understand, what is a good way to affix the Ulanzi MT44 selfie stick to your camera bag using two carabiners? Thank you for your informative video.

Even the professional large M43 stuff is still smaller than full frame stuff most of the time, esp lenses. I recently got into the Nikon Z system with a second hand Z6... Even though that body is about the size of the E-M1/OM-1 series, it's still noticeable heftier. And the supposedly "compact" Z 24-70 f4 S kit lens is SO heavy, esp compared with like the OM 12-45mm f4.

If you want similar burst rates , you need at least a Z8 or even Z9

FF is not everything. But MFT is not either. To say it is so compact and less costly is simply saying nothing, because there are many factors that affect everybody differently. For me for instance: I want serious gear to photograph birds in flight and wildlife as a hobby enthusiast. Low light performance, great AF , at a budget of $5000. I chose Canon. R7 with a speedbooster on a used EF 500 F4 is mk1 gives me a 550mm F2.8 equivalent with F4 DOF for $ 3000 all in. If I use it bare, I have 800mm F4 equivalent with F5.6 DOF. Add a used EF 1.4 TC iii and I have 1120mm equivalent F8! The TC and a used EF100-400 L ii set me back another $2000. With that setup I have equipment that outperforms my ability. And I can buy a FF body and use it on those lenses if I want in future, or I can invest in some awesome RF glass in future… That is me, others will see it differently. I don’t walk around with my camera and a 35mm lens in case. I just use my phone. But when I get a chance to go into the bush…

One reason not to get a micro 4/3 camera. I have a large collection of vintage lenses some 24mm and quite a few 28mm adapted to a crop sensor camera gets me in the focal equivalent of about 36 to 42mm and that's what I'm looking for.

But there is no alternative option that match Nikon Zf with 28-400mm f4-8 lens

Olympus 12-200 is 24-400 in terms of FF equivalence with even more light throughput and a wider short end.

I have the 14-150 from Oly and the 24-200 Nikon Z.
At max Zoom the Nikon is a bit better… but much larger and heavier. Not sure about the small Oly at 200/400mm equivalent?
