Appreciate the video! Very informative! I got a G44 myself and as long as I use good ammo almost always 40 grain and load magazine carefully mine works great. Still better than a dollar a round out of my G26 9mm.
Thanks for the video. FYI, the CCI Quiet is made specially for bolt action rifles. I have a Ruger American and this stuff is ridiculously quiet in a bolt action.
I use the G44 with a Timney Trigger for Gen5 Glocks and run only CCI standard 40grain. After around 1000 rounds I have 0 malfunctions. I use it beside my G34 as a target pistol and shoot mainly form 25 yards. Sounds funny but it works incredibly good with my setup and I use to keep very tight groups. I also changed the front sight with a thin one so I can see the small target on 25 yards. Cheers from Germany
Thanks Paul! You sure would think that the Eley Target would run with no issues being it's so dang expensive...like $13 for 50rd box..oh well. They don't make em like they used too! Take care and God bless!👍🙏🇺🇸🗽
Thank you-Great video. I just bought one, got it home & cleaned it. I am just waiting to go to the range. Videos like yours helps me. I know what to & not to buy. I do think these 22lr`s pistols are finiky. I have noticed that the round nose tend to work better that the hollow point bullets, from other videos-Take care-God bless.
Nice demo. My G19 gen 3 was the first auto loader I've ever owned. I had been a J-frame guy before. The simplicity was what got me interested in Glocks, & that 19 is still my EDC, works very well for me. Even though I may be a Glock 'fan boy,' that .22 just seems too bulky for the caliber. Not for me.
Thanks for the vid Paul. I feel the same about the glocks as you, I was shooting pistols way before glocks ever came out. showing my age... I just don't like the ergos of them, never have, never will. guess being trained on 1911 kinda spoils you.
Great video your not on the hate Glock 44 bandwagon, I own one and shoots 40 grain nicely.it is kinda pricey $359.00 but I bought it for plinking and it is super like. Thanks for the vid 👍
my s&w victory loves cci, remington thunderbolts and federal but hates herters and winchester, that i see at my bass pro often, go figure....great review
Fun gun, and my first .22lr auto loading pistol. If I could afford it right now, I'd buy one of each of the following .22lr pistols... the TX22, SR22, LCP II, and the MP22. They all look fun to shoot... Besides, I will probably wear my G44 out pretty quickly at the rate I'm running rounds through it. I really enjoy shooting it, and it runs great. Good video! 😁
I'm a glock fan but I wouldn't buy it unless I had a g19 to duel train with. Few other guns at half the price that shoot just as good and a couple of those got their mag issues worked out to run a 15+ round mag plus come with a threaded barrel
It’s was nice looking and shooting gun, but I like shooting my Taurus TX22 with some 40 grain CCI MiniMags. I went with this and not the Glock due to the way it felt plus the price as well.
Heavy Metal Guns & Outdoors LLC Have you tried the Smith & Wesson 22lr pistol? I didn’t shoot it, but when I was shopping it was between that Glock 44, the S&W, and the Taurus TX that I eventually bought. Your opinion on the S&W? Mine......I love S&W, but that Taurus just felt better to me.
I just bought one g44. I have 300 cartridges of CCI normal 1070 FPS velocity in 40 grain. Range time in 2 months or so from now. Does this work well with you?
Goodmorning Mr.Paul great video as always and a fair review. Not for me but it was a good one. I have one old Browning 22semi pistol and 2 single actions. If i was gonna shop for another one it would either be the m&p or the Taurus but thats just for me buddy.
Didnt figure the quiet would have enough ass to push the slide back. I would only run it through a bolt, lever action or a revolver personally. Gun seems to run well, I think I'll stick with my s&w sw22 victory though
Glock 44 owners, inspect your firing pin sleeve. Mine has several thousand rounds through it, and it has been trouble free until now. The firing pin is hammering out the slot in the sleeve, and the plastic is curling up. You can see if yours is doing this without removing the slide cover. If you do disassemble it, and have this defect, Glock will blame you for improper disassembly...
I had to dry fire umpteen times. Make sure my thumbs were down the side tight before I could cure the high left Glock curse. 😂😂 NEVER had to work that hard to shoot any other pistol that I can remember.
@@HeavyMetalGuns Nice!! I play an Epi LP and Squire Classic Vibe 50's butterscotch Tele, Classic Vibe 50's Strat. through Fender Blues jr. Royal Blood(celestial greenback speaker). Line 6 floor pod or Tube Screamer. That setup you are running has a nice heavy thick sound to it.
You had the best luck with that pistol that I've seen so far on the web. 22 plinkster couldn't keep one running. They seem to be expensive and certainly not the most accurate but if you are a big Glock fan I guess ya need one ........I sure don't.

What brand of 22 lr do you prefer?
Glock needs to include a threaded barrel and increase the mag capacity for me to put down my TX22.
I prefer the TX!!

I never cared for them.
u cant afford a glock?
Don’t worry you can afford a Glock they’re not that expensive, I actually have the Glock 44 22lr

@@HeavyMetalGuns ill keep that in mind since a 22 pistol might be on the list.
Seems to work good with only certain ammo
Ya not bad,i just think it is too over priced.
I like those pink bullets
They are cool!!
Love mine... But still not quite as much as my TX22
I like the TX better!!
I like my 22 Ruger Thanks Paul
Thanks Doug!!

Gotta use full metal jackets for it no hallows
It's got some bad reviews but I wonder about their truthfulness. I think I'd pick an M&P or Ruger first. Stay well brother
Thanks Matt,i wonder also!!
i got suckerd and bought one it sucks
The American flag is what's been missing from all other range videos people post!
I fly mine with pride
I have seen video of the clock 44
The people that shot the gun had a lot of problems with the gun
This one has had very few problems.
I had to dry fire umpteen times. Make sure my thumbs were down the side tight before I could cure the high left Glock curse. 😂😂

I aim low right a bit with Glocks and Springfields.

I got ya.

Good morning Mark!!
Would CCI subsonic make with 970 fps work with the Glock44?
I have not tried it .
I too would one day wish to have some land, a covered porch I could shoot, or pee off of.
Thanks 😊
Listen to that target hum!!
Heck ya!!

Where to buy 22 lr ammo ?
Order off the net.
In other words get a Ruger Mark IV.
Alot of 22 semis to choose from.
😴 a full size 10rd 22lr for $500.😕
It is pricey!!
When ruger made a 22lr revolver in $200 range for a single action
Top Job!!!
Thanks Mark!!
Great, meant.
Thanks Frank!!
Awesome awesome awesome
Thanks!!
Enjoyed watching the video, but won't be buying one of them.
