This presentation has generated a lot of requests for a review of the Taurus tx 22 so I bought one today. We'll have a review of it in the near future.

Nice!
Hope all is well with you and yours in these strange times, sir!
Hope that in-depth look at the M1 Carbine you talked about in one of your recent videos is still in the works, too. Really looking forward to that one. :)
@@Armored_Muskrat We have a presentation on the M-1 Carbine
Hoping all is well with Paul and family. Going on two weeks with no new upload....selfishly wondering what’s going on, but reminding myself these are crazy times. Looking forward to more interesting and informative content from the channel.
I like that he was looking to be impressed, then changed his opinion based on his tests and then did not consider himself the last word on the subject. Honest. Classy.
...and rare.
Paul is a class act for 100%.
Paul Harrell Is the best!!
Seems true to his form. As he sees them. No BS.
It’s part of what makes this guy a true gem, among gun channels, even if some of us are here for the meat target and shooting jacket porn, and Shatneresque...
_pauses._
I’m fairly confident if Paul reaches deep enough into his pocket, Ian from Forgotten Weapons lives in there.
hahahaha, maybe Mr. GunsnGear too.
Fun Fact: Paul has a pocket on his jacket that contains another jacket.
Well it was a poncho, but you aren't wrong O.o
Well in that other jacket was a pocket with a S&W model 36 Chiefs Special.
So sick of all theese so original "fun facts" and "plot twists" you people are really presenting not having a mind of your own.

I’m a simple man. Paul posts a new video, I hit like before the intro is complete. Although it comes with a few caveats.

Correct
Just did the same lol, I like all of his videos because they're always informative, but you be the judge
Perhaps a few yeahbuts as well.
Ha ha. I see what you did there.
11:32 Paul's jacket is now not only home to an infinite amount of firearms, but also a housefly.
I couldn’t help but notice that also.
@JiveTurkey0001 Pork rib pectorals?
What is a house without its flies?
the fly was just taking that opportunity to try to shake the legend's hand!! lol
Rumor has it, the guns Paul doesn't like go in but never come back out
No matter how often I hear the specs of the "Meat Target", the explanation is utterly satisfying!
Pork chop pectorals
I also find it to make me hungry.
“Two all beef patties...”
Yup!

Ouch!... Savage 😂😂
Never thought I'd see the day, where 9mm was more rare than 22 lr
Did Mossberg close out its production line? Can’t find them and their price is gone thru the roof. I also thought I’d never see that day
People are getting prepared for the "demonstrations" after the November election. Even my democrap buddies are arming up. Sad.
Did you miss the ammo famine of 2008? Couldn't find ammo to save your life. And .22 was usually the least findable for me!
@@ScottKenny1978 Yeah. It took years to get over that hump. DOJ bought billions of rounds too which didn't help.
This is gonna go beyond 2008 famine no matter the outcome of the election
*Glock 44 is announced*
"There's a Glock chambered in .44?!"
*It's a .22 like the conversion kit but not as good!*
"Oh."
Lol
And it occasionally explodes!
Was just as bad as the Glock 45, that for some reason is a 9mm...
And the Glock 22 is a .40
I thought it was a double barrel .22.
Anyone else love the fact that Paul fires 9 out of ten rounds and then reloads without having to slingshot the slide. therefore saving an extra second and always having round in chamber and a weapon at the ready. Love that !
Mr. Harrell looking like he just jumped out of the Delorean to drop some knowledge on us all.
Great Scott!
I find the other people on the range to be extremely rude for shooting over Paul's narrative. Don't they realize that when the master is speaking that it is bad form to distract from his words of wisdom?
Or they are shooting people who would interfere even more. (And for who don´t get it, it´s meant as joke.)
Focus......grasshopper.

I would think he could find a more isolate lane or slip the guys planning the Normandy Invasion $20 to knock it off for 30 min. The ridiculous "gunfire in the background" makes some of his videos unwatchable

He is not the first, just the latest ( and the one I trust most) to crap all over this high dollar piece of junk.
@@myoptik3x103 absolutely. I trust Paul without a doubt
Yep. I don't buy into the Glock hype either. I bought a S&W 3913NL and couldn't be happier. I have fired the S&W M&P compact 22 and was pleased. No failure to feed. Just the few typical non-fire rounds.
You, being the judge?
@@kenny344 exactly. All other channels tell you what to think. Paul lets you be the judge
“Don’t make up your mind on the disappointing results I’ve gotten”
Don’t worry Paul, it seems that everyone else has reached the same verifiable and falsifiable results you have.
Paul’s subtlety cracks me up! “Don’t make up your mind based on the VERY DISAPPOINTING results I had with this pistol!” 😂😂😂
Is it wrong if i get excited when he says "Meat target"
My wife is wondering why I now refer to her as the “meat target”.
Up to this point there have been few real-life volunteers to stand in as targets. P.H. shoots too well.
It should be the new FBI standard for testing, or tasting.
No, no it is not. It is a perfectly normal reaction to have. For Science!
Where's the beef?!

Jugs. I like when he says that.
Hi Paul, I'm getting close to a couple thousand rounds through mine. Its just now starting to be ammo / user friendly. At first its favorite was Federal Auto match @ about 97% success. . Hollow points would not feed period. To this day Federal American Eagle fails to extract on Every round. Winchester White box hollow points now run 100% . As with yours thunderbolts run 96% . The common failure I have is a Fail to fire. Click no bang. However every round that has done that when reinserted into the chamber will go bang. I took it to a couple of GSSF matches this year and luckily it ran 100% I changed out the sights to Fibre optics and installed a Minus connector. Nice smooth 3LB trigger.. Its really a joy to shoot. Update us when you get to a couple thousand rounds.
Paul is hands down the funniest gun youtuber in my opinion. His experience and explanations of how things work is just a huge plus.
That's some fresh Shatneresque......pauses. Thanks for the content Paul, Thursdays are a good day for education.

Ouch. I can imagine the Glock execs meeting on Monday being like, "This will be a standing meeting, as our backsides were kicked into next week by Paul Harrell." "But I thought he was a fanboy?" "Was, Wolfgang. Was."
Even as a “Glock fanboy” I’ve seen several Glock 44 reviews and they all seem disappointing... I will not be adding this one to my collection any time soon.
Yep love glocks but not this one...
I like Glocks and I own four of them. I passed on the G44 and bought a Taurus TX22. I've been very happy with that.

@@rifleshooterchannel208 Paul's opinion is valued highly by many of us. If Paul came out against a gun that I loved I would have some serious doubts about my own thinking and think maybe I've missed something. Having said that, I do also appreciate your 'think for yourself' position.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 I take it reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. I said I love mine, seems like thats me stating my own opinion.
My nervousness as to his review was more in jest and it comes from the fact that I know the 44 has its flaws.
As always, excellent presentation and honest coverage of the details. Thanks, Paul.
Thanks, Paul, for your legendary effort in teaching all about firearms. You balance the science with a great dry humor and I think that is part of your success. Another part is your consistent production of videos. I'm always ready to give you a hearty thumbs up! Take care, Mike.

Actually the most reliable review I've seen. Have to load the mags in a particular fashion and slingshot the slide to get it to work right in 5 other reviews I've seen. Love my S&W MP22, no issues. Looking at picking up the new Taurus as well.
Paul can make a thorough presentation on a (in my opinion) sad release from Glock and I’ll still click like before I watch the video.
Keep up the good work Paul! We appreciate you!
Hi ya, Paul..glad to see another new video. Thanks for doing the review of the new model 44.
Thank you for being candid as always.
Yep, if I want a .22 Glock I'm buying a conversion upper, if I want a practical .22 pistol I'm looking at an M&P or Taurus, if I want a fancy, tacticool, or target .22 I'm doing a 22/45.
I have had the M&P 22 for many, many years now and I absolutely love it. I have many M&P pistols and I am a definite fan of them.
Had a rough day, and now I see there's a new video from Paul Harrell...my day is getting better already. Thanks for the great content Paul
Thanks for the editing Brad!
I wonder if anyone else would like a video on your workout routine and diet because you're in great shape for an older man.
Pretty much everyone who has reviewed this has had it malfunction. It's a jam-o-matic pistol and Glock should pull it completely from the market until they fix the feeding issues with it.
Dunno mine is excellent. The shop I bought it has sold 50 of them. One guy complained. And it was about accuracy. I don't like Glocks, but I think we are getting confirmation bias.

@Maxim Ghost I don't think anyone expected that to happen- but, here we are. I'm jealous of the early adopters who got the TX22 for two hundred or less.
Great video as always, Paul!
Hope you and yours are safe from the fires.
I bought one when they first came out, mainly for my teenager. I also carry a G32 daily so it is a lightweight training tool for me. It has been on-target since day one, no adjustments needed. I have put 1500+ rds of 38g & 40g 1200+fps ammo through it. I have had exactly 5 FTF, usually on 2nd round. Is it as good as a Ruger? No. But for a semi-auto rimfire, I consider it very good. I have had no reservations since my purchase. Thank you once again Paul for an excellent presentation.
I would say that after looking at several reviews of the Glock 44, your evaluation is consistent with most others.
The Taurus TX22 has been a reliable performer. I would like to see your evaluation of it.
Same here. I have the tx22 and I like it but I’m having. Feed issues on some ammo. NOT on cci standard however. I’d like Paul to compare a few alternatives to the Glock 44. With ammo prices and availability the way they are , 22lr is about what I can shoot for practice.
I have the tx22, haven't had much problem yet.
I think I'm at like 3 or 4 malfunctions out of 1000 rounds (not counting duds). I used almost everything that is crap bulk like American eagle, federal blue box, thunderbolt, and CCI byob breast cancer bottle.
My stock 10/22 has more issues than this pistol does using bulk ammo.
I would also like to see his thoughts on the Taurus tx22! 👍🇺🇸
Taurus more reliable than Glock. These are the End Times.
Glock 44, the number one reason to buy a Taurus TX22.
Maybe...next video, please
Paul “and for instructional purpose only” Harrell 😆
Great video. Your results have been consistent with most everyone else's videos that I have seen on this handgun.
Love the honesty and thank you for the tip on the stingers. Keep up the good work sir.
My bother bought one of these as his first firearm, before I could tell him not to. When he did tell me, my comment was, "I heard there's a good second- hand market!"
Way to welcome a new shooter
Another great video Paul and no surprise at all with the results.
Anyone else notice how "smokey" that Thunderbolt ammo is?
Pretty typical of Thunderbolt ammo, in my personal experience. It's about as cheap as it gets, so you can shoot all day long, and get that cowboy blackpowder experience the whole time.
This batch must have been loaded on a Tuesday- this is clean for Thunderbolt.
Yeah I generally have to swab the chambers of my revolver after the 3rd or 4th reload. If not the buildup makes it almost impossible to get the next reload after that in.
Twisting the knife
@ma tem Never botherd me per say that it is dirty, maybe because I've never really shot it in an auto just bolt actions and revolvers,,,,but yea it is a bit on the dirty side even at that.
When Paul pulled out the fourth pistol I lost it and started laughing. I was expecting him to pull out a few more.
They need to get barber shops in Oregon open...SOON! Paul's looking like a dandelion!
Excellent review. Great concept with the 22lr Glock. I’m not a Glock fan but I followed the same route with a Browning 1911 in 22lr for my son. I’ve always been a 1911 guy so that’s what my son is learning with. The Browning has been outstanding. Over a thousand rounds with a variety of ammo and not one malfunction yet. I enjoyed the video as always.
Appreciate the fact you recommended checking out other reviews.
Personally, I'm happy with my Glock 44. After 2900 rounds I have had 12 failures, mostly failures to fire. Federal American Eagle 38-grain copper-plated rounds and CCI Mini-Mags have run flawlessly. Winchester M22 rounds are pretty good also. Browning 40-grain rounds have had the most failures. I have noticed that it is important after loading a magazine to lessen the spring tension and give the magazine a firm tap on the rim side to make sure all 10 rounds are properly oriented. It is especially important that the top round is parallel with the top of the magazine.
Lemme add to the list. Armscore solid point, Aguila super extra, federal defense, and cci stinger all work great for me
Uff da -talk about damnation by faint praise
“Good for malfunction drills” 😺
Ya sure you betchya! That’s a no good review.
@@GaveMeGrace1 That's my recommendation for ProMag, get one or two for your carry gun, load with a mix of different ammo, including a snapcap or two for a dud, and you're getting a training regimen for dealing with failures.
One Doomed Spacemarine - that describes life with my Bersa Thunder 380. The fellow who sold it to me gave me 3 pro mags and I was so frustrated that I didn’t get into shooting & self defense for 5 more years. Recently I bought a factory mag, but haven’t been out to the range since Covid19. Thankfully we recently moved to an area with some free outdoor public target shooting areas on state land- just clean up after yourself and be safe. Then I can test the factory mag vs the p mag.
Thanks
Accentuate the positive.
Are you from North Dakota?
Glad to see you back on Thursday ! Know it's not easy keeping a schedule under the best circumstances & with the problems in your state. Anyway good to watch this even though I had no intention of buying a Glock 44
Just finished an 18-hour pistol training course at my local gun range held by a third party training company. The live-fire exercise was performed with company-provided Glock 44's running Federal 36 grain bulk .22LR. There were way too many failures to eject for it to stem from new shooters or coincidence. Being the first Glock model I've ever shot, the sight picture was incredibly difficult. The company instructors were all pro-Glock and had the Glock logo on their shirts, hats, and range bag patches.
Thank you, Paul, for showing a different perspective and helping me opt for something else as a .22 autoloader.
The P17 is nearly half the price of the G44, holds 70% more per mag, is over an ounce lighter, and works better.
Great job, Glock.
One of my best friends, a self described "glock-aholic", has admitted that both the Taurus TX-22 and Kel-tec P17 are better pistols and cheaper. In the case of the Kel-tec, nearly half the price.
I'm extremely happy with my P17. For the amount of money I spent, I got a damn good little gun.
Glock has been going backwards for the past several years. The Glock 44 is another shining example of how far downhill they have slid. The Glock 44 may be a bigger embarrassment and flop than Colt 2000 (All American 2000) pistol was years ago.
Smith N. Wesson lets not forget that embarrassment that was the Colt Double Eagle.
Craig Shelton Yes, the Double Eagle was absolutely horrible. Good point!
@@donskiver Me too - just worked mine out for the first time this weekend, no problems except for one failure to fire - 99% sure it was the ammo as I put the round back in and it fired no problem with the pin hitting a different spot. Such a fun little gun, and works well suppressed too.
Thank you for the best information ever, highly appreciate 👍

@@ALovelyBunchOfDragonballz I'm still waiting for the Glock7.62 in 5.56mm
They started at 17 and just increment the number by 1 as each new model is introduced. I think the 17 was a marketing ploy as the magazine capacity was 17 at a time when the closest competition was 15.
Interesting enough, their field knives (excellent by the way) use their year of introduction as the model number. I have both the 78 and 81. I prefer the 78, but they are nearly impossible to find lately.
They also make an entrenching tool. I have one and like it.
Most of my Glocks don't take ammo.🙂
Good review, very thorough.
It's a big contrast to Hickock 45, whom I also really admire. He would say how wonderful it is no matter how many malfunctions. That's his special charm, he's a very special guy who is always upbeat and cheery, but I always take his glowing reviews with that in mind.
@Pauly Walnutz A shill for whom? He likes all guns and is quite honest about that. He has an up beat attitude that is infectious. There’s nothing wrong with that.
I saw a few videos of him with centuries old guns, some civil war era, they’re not efficient today in terms of rate of fire, but they’re a beauty, and I agree with him. Gotta love the classics.
He's a fucking shill. That's why he shills things.
It’s always a good day when there’s a new video from Paul in your notifications. For my money, one of the best UA-camrs out there.

Paul, at Butcher's: Got my order ready?
Butcher: sure Paul, happy shooting.
I got a ruger mark 4 and put a whole 1400 round bucket of remington golden bullets through it with zero problems so far. But it would only be a good training aid for a nambu I suppose.
Imagine a Nambu for self defense

Robber: *NANI!?!!*
My mark 4 hates every ammo except CCI mini mags. Count yourself very lucky.
@@fredmeebley then you should either send it back to ruger or take it to a gunsmith. I have 2 mk4 and they both run flawless. Not to mention I run them suppressed most of the time and they are usually filthy. Your gun is not the standard I can assure you that.

Man so glad I dropped by. Paul it’s been to long. Ahhh the meat target. Thanks for doing what you do!
Glad to see you're once again a professional, Paul.
Great video! I think the 22 long is overlooked by most. I happen to like 22 long for target shooting, it is cheap and less recoil allows for better sight training for "Open eye" shooting.
Hi, I've got 8000 plus rounds through our G44. You had more malfunctions on camera than we have in 8k, and my wife was very disappointed. She loves the pistol.
We have had over a dozen failure to fires, which we retried and four of them functioned when hit on another part of the rim.
The others were total duds. The pistol puts a very hard rectangular ding in the rim, bending it farther than my other half dozen twenty two firearms.
Failure to load has happened a half dozen times. It seems to be caused by the magazine not 'truing' the top round, something like the way Kahr nine millimeter pistols fail to feed that top round if it's not set perfectly.
Always be sure the top round is at the right angle, not tipped down.
I use a cheap printed loader and it loads much easier than pulling down on the nubs, it doesn't hurt your fingers to load four hundred rounds.
It also allows you to shake and true up the ammo in the magazine.
We use four magazines and I've noticed no difference in them.
Gun always locks back on the last round.
My sights are dead on at 30 feet so I have no experience at changing the sights.
The gun loves cheap Armscor hollow points. It likes 40 grain Aguila but it's not as accurate, still easy to shot ten into a 2 inch dot.
Winchester Federal 36 grain hollow points are about the same as Aguila.
All function fine normally. That means than in three or four hundred rounds we might get a dud, we might not.
Ejection is perfect.
I've cleaned the pistol four times total. I try to do it every two or three thousand rounds as it gets gritty inside., that's obviously the cheap ammo.
My reliability with this gun is on par with my first model bull barrel Ruger. The bull barrel is more accurate, but it has a 2 lb pull, custom grips, etc. The Glock is out of the box for the first thousand, then I put in a Ghost trigger bar. Not much difference.
It is vastly better than my S&W Compact 22, which I could not recommend, sorry, the Smith is cheap and shoddy. I've had to replace parts and it hasn't gone half the round of the Glock.
I'm not a Glock fan boy. It's my second Glock, I hate Glock angle with a passion, and was happy to ditch my first Glock.
I think they may have either some consistency problems, or perhaps there is some serious ammo problems. I know from shooting my M&P Smith 22 rifle (looks like an Ar) with newly purchased ammo had some rounds that wouldn't push the slide back. Sounded like squibs. Dunno if that is part of the issue. Those were CCI and Remington, but I didn't try either in the Glock as I prefer the Armscor Nickel.
Hope this is of some value.
Thanks for another honest review Mr. Harrell.
Great video. Thanks Paul !
Thanks for this review, as I has very curios about its performance. I recently purchased a Sig Sauer P938-22 for all the all the reasons that you stated. I have been delighted with its performance.
12:56 phew...Paul is back to being a professional. 😃
i have to say that my 44 has been great. it's very rare for me to have issues other than ammo related. i own several other .22 pistols and this glock has been one of the better ones. i guess i got lucky.
Great video. You sir are one of UA-cam's treasure troves of useful information. Thank you.
Have fun, get serious and learn something all at the same time... Paul's channel is one of the best
Great review as always. thank you. These Glock 44s must be cleaned and lubed out of the box prior to use. I know this from personal experience. The two we have function perfectly after performing that simple task. I also know that there is a LOT of conflicting reports regarding reliability with this model, but what we have found is the cleaning coupled with good quality ammo will yield better results.
I didn’t, probably would have helped. For me, sticking with high velocity, high grain rounds work amazing
Tx22 has fully adjustable rear sight. Point of aim/ point of impact is right on after some adjustments. 16 round mag. Reliability is pretty much perfect other than the occasional dud round. Size and ergos very similar to a vp9. Love my tx22 so much I bought a g3c to see if my prior impressions of Taurus might need revision. They did not but the Tx22 is impressive and so is the fact that Taurus made a firearm I consider to be a front runner in its class. Maybe a tx22/ m9 .22 comparison in the future?
I agree. I got my TX22 on a whim while picking up another weapon. Best decision. I absolutely love it.
Got on TX-22 in FDE from Academy for $299 back in January and a second TX-22 in black for $239 back in early March.. Bought 6 additional mags for each, comes with threaded barrel bushing for my Sparrow suppressor. Got maybe $850 in both guns, 12 additional mags, two Kydex holsters, and I love them. Have about 2000 rounds thru each of them with only seeing issues with the really cheap 22lr I've got stored up. Remington Thunderbolt and CCI's Blazer 22or consistently giving all my semi autos issues.. Both eat Remington Viper, CCI Mini-mag, Aguila, and Winchester HV in the red 100rd boxes.
@@1968CudaGuy I have 5 mags for my one and I recently lost my thread attachment. Currently saving up for some suppressors. Can't wait to try them out. @@AJ31CO same. Went into the shop to sell my Rex zero 1 and came out with a tx22. Never expected to like it as much as I do. It just works and feels great in my hands.

Nice work Mr. Harrell. Very informative.
G'Day Mr Harrell Sir from New Zealand. - Down here we get Austrian built G.44 pistols but our adjustable rear sights are not a simple 'screw up or down' adjustment - as the screw axis has CAM settings of different levels .. If you adjust the setting screw to the end of it's travel you will have passed the position needed to bring your shots level with point of aim. My Glock 44 shoots into the Bullseye just fine as adjusted. - Thank you for sharing your entertaining review.
Great review of the Glock 44. Just goes to show that even a good company puts out an occasional lemon. Thanks for all you do. Paul Harrell, the Chuck Norris of the gun world.
Every model of every gun produces a lemon now and then.
@@aircommando505that’s an exaggeration
There is a “trick” with loading the magazine, though some don’t require it. I have the G44 and 5 magazines. I was getting failures with the first magazine I tried. However, since I loaded it, turned it upside down and pulled the tabs and let the rounds fall free, I have not had a single failure in a little over 500 rounds. I have used CCI Mini’s, Standard, and Subs without issue.
Should I have to do this “trick?” No, but it only takes a second and it is a small price to pay for 100% functionality. This is the first 22lr that has functioned flawlessly for over 500 rounds. I also have a brother in law who also has had zero problems that weren’t ammo related and he doesn’t have to do the “trick.”
Just some thoughts from my experiences with the G44.
You need to try the ruger sr22. That gun will fire the shittiest ammo you can find and not jam! Glock is trash in this particular gun!
Once again Paul an excellent review. Would love to see you review the Sig Sauer P365 SAS.

Not many firearms these days have 'clips' to empty. Did you mean "...empties a magazine..."?
All these year in production and Glock finally put an adjustable sight on a pistol only to have it fail to adjust the point of impact. o_0
Great vid Paul!
I own a G44. You're right on about the sights. Mine shot high too, solved it by adding a suppressor height sight to the rear notch.
Sir,
Really Good Review... 22lr I Would Trust Moreso In Revolvers.. Your Explanation On Ammunition Is Truly Excellent..
Blessings
How he doesn't have 1mil subs is beyond me.
Only good students appreciate a good instructor. Most students appreciate the popular instructor. A popular instructor knows his audience. He makes his pupils feel good. A good instructor knows his subject. Internet is full of people who seek validation but very few who seek knowledge. Some that do are found here. It's not a detailed answer to a question that serves primarily a rhetorical function. Or maybe it is too detailed exactly for the same reason.
I’ve missed out on several months of videos it seems the UA-cam decided to stop letting me know Paul was uploading. Catch up time
Too bad. I'm glad that didn't happen to me.
Check your subscription too. They have a tendency to unsubscribe people without notice.
Haven't had a UA-cam notification on ANY channel for 90 days. I can still find them by hitting the subscription button but it's a pain.
Several months? Just bookmark the channel's videos page and check it weekly.
Thank you Paul! More great stuff!
Great review, I've seen others have issues with this pistol so I bought the Taurus TX22. So far through close to 1,000 rounds I've not had a single issue. It comes with 2 16 round magazines also. So far I'm super impressed with the TX22 but time will tell as I've only had it for a couple of months.
Hey Paul, great video, quality as ever. Do you already have a video up on the CZ-75? I'm sure there's people out there who've already done them to death, but, I prefer the way how you do reviews on guns. Less bullshit, and more actual information.
I carry a CZ75B as my primary carry during the warmer 75% of the year, my winter carry is a SAR-K2, a scale-up version that carries 14+1 45 ACP on tap. The first day I got my SAR I was busting clay pigions on a shelf at 30 yards, and the CZ75B I passed my NRA instructor certification by putting 17/20 shots in a 6" group at 45 feet (and yes, the other three were on paper, just weren't in the 6 inch group).
+1 for a review on the CZ platform.

Makes me happy I went with the LCP II for my .22 pistol. Though the M9 22 and the M&P Compact 22 are on the wishlist.
My experience: I bought Glock 44 in March 2020. I shot it without cleaning it first. It malfunctioned on Browning 36 grain, but not on CCI 40 grain. I cleaned it, and shot it several times over the next few months. It improved. Now, when I take it to the range, it has zero malfunction over hundreds of rounds, either 36 grain or 40
Looked at a G44 in the GS just the other day. Just couldn't do it. Then comes Pauls review.....Believe I'll stay with my Taurus TX22.....never misses a lick!
Out of all the G44 reviews I've seen, this one had the least amount of failures. Glock fell on its face on this one.
Where's the TX-22 review already?
Paul I have seen other reviews of the glock 22 pistol one which was done by the honest outlaw and if I remember correctly he had the same opinion. I had an sr22 ruger and it was very reliable if the ammo did it's job and went bang.i now have a smith and Wesson m@p22 it seems to be a good pistol also.Good job as always Paul I'll catch you on the next presentation.
"Very disappointing" ouch! Thanks for the honest and in-depth review Paul!
