Awesome, I've been flying fpv drones for a while and thought about possibly getting a rock racer/crawler rc and putting an fpv cam inside as well, but was thinking of possible putting a pan/tilt mechanism inside for head tracking to give it a more authentic 1st person racing feel,.
I think a pan mechanism would be beneficial. The two best, non-headtracker, methods i've seen are to either tie it in to the steering channel, or to just put it on a 3 position switch on your transmitter. I think the second option is a nice one for a slow crawler. Definitely slower is better when it comes to ground-based FPV, and the bigger the suspension the better too.
