This guy really blew his shot at becoming a UA-camr
i don't quite understand how it works,but i am shocked👍🏻nice video.
Thanks for watching!
For those wondering, if you under powered this, it would still run, just not at full speed, because the xbox has no battery or source to draw a certain amount of power your processor and system would just run slow, it won't shut off as long as your wattage is above 20
Finally, we can have our own porable xbox
Thanks for watching!
Just wow 👌
Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching!
@@robotanvso are you gonna build something or what I mean the space is there your have the components.you just gotta figure out a way to charge while drawing power.
Hi. I'll be looking to add a series s in my solar powered 12v campervan, but is there a simpler way, like using a 12v (14 amp) transformer on the EXTERNAL cable, just ignoring the 'neutral' wire?
Or would there be a conflict with the internal transformer?
Congrats man! this project is so amazing! Do you have an idea about how much lighter it gets without the build-in PSU? And do you think that a 100W quality PD charger or power bank is enough to power it?
it pulls a couple hundred under heavy load or slightly under 💗
You just got a sub bro
Thanks for watching and appreciate the support!
Siiiick
Nice Video but a Tutorial will it better :) ( like this Cable do there )
Thanks for watching! I’ll think about doing longer videos with a bit more detail
Would you have to open the Xbox or could you plug it in with the normal cord and cut it to attach the wires there
That was dope!
this was fun to watch
Thanks for watching!
Crazy
Thanks for watching!
How have you been liking the Anker 737? Do you think it's worth 150$?
I have to say that I've bought all sorts of power banks that are usually a lot cheaper and they've mostly fine. But even though this one is pricier, I really like it! It feels very high quality. It's tough, looks good, the display is useful. Feels like it's worth the money, if you're willing to spend it.
The other factor is if you need that high power output. Not many options on the market. Just this Anker 737 and the Baseus 100w power bank (see description).
I have both and they've both been able to power the Xbox.
Love the content 👌 love how you explain everything few questions is there not a slimmer better PowerBank option n did you ever do anything else after this build
Appreciate the love! Haven't followed up yet, but will eventually! I also use the Baseus blade powerbank which can power the XBox and is only 1cm thick! There's a link in the description for that powerbank if you want to check it out.
is the xbox completely running on DC current with no conversion to AC after this mod?
DC all the way! So you can unplug the power back and plug in a USB charger instead.
Sooooo you gonna make it a handheld version next like steam deck?
Interesting idea...
I'm a little confused . You have the Anker battery with a 5v output, into the
ZY12, which you can bump up to 12v. Then you sent that output to the DC buck step down only to adjust it to 12v again? Why couldn't you just skip the buck entirely if the ZY gives you constant 12v?
Thanks for watching. The power bank is giving output of 20v with 5 amps current. Then the voltage is dropped to 12v by the buck converter. Hope that makes sense.
@Robotanv so Anker has a USB-C out at 20v. Which is connected to the ZY12 which you can adjust to 12v output via the toggle button and LED indication that you showed in the video. Then again into the buck converter.
Or are you outputting Anker 5v to the ZY12 and upping the voltage to 20v then dropping down to 12v via the buck converter ?
wait, can you do a Type C slot?
for xbox series
I would like to integrate the XBOX Series S in my Campervan. Can I go directly to the 12V input of the mainboard or can there be any issues if the voltage goes over 13V (i.e. when the battery of the camper is charging) Nice Video btw!
Thanks for watching! I'm sure you can but I don't know how stable that car power supply will be. I would put something like a step-down converter (see description) between the car and the Xbox, just to keep the Xbox safe. Much cheaper to replace the converter!
@@robotanv Thanks for your reply. The voltage should be 100% stable because of the BMS inside the Lifepo4 battery, but if the battery is charging it will be probalbly 13V-13,5V DC. I think i will give it a try, this would be much more efficient as it is with a 12V to 230V converter
Sounds like an exciting project! Can't imagine how much more game time you'll get by skipping that conversion!
@@stefananibas7824Let me know how you get on please, i'll be trying the same soon. Im not sure if the external transformer/12v step down that we add on would conflict with the internal series s transformer!?
Very cool 😎
❤🎉❤🎉❤
Would this work with an Xbox one s s well?
Build the god Damm laptop already
@robotantv holy shit you still haven't done it
