Yay! Outkast! The best rap group in history. I'm getting ready to move to Atlanta myself for a fresh new start in life and I'm sooo excited! Thanks for the tour! :)
+David Mu Yes but it's very dangerous. It's Southside is ranked as a top 5 most dangerous area in the u.s. Otherwise, Chicago is like a second city to Toronto.
Thank You for this video. My mother use to live there back in the late 50's early 60's on peachtree street above an old drug store she called it so it was nice to see it. I would live to come visit one day but this let me see part of it. On the music aspect. I don't normally listen to that sort of music but I found myself bouncing to the beat so not only did you let me see part of Atlanta you exposed my ears to some of it's music. Hope you weren't driving as fast as it looked lol
All of the night clubs have left downtown Atlanta....I remember when Peachtree Street use to be bumper to bumper traffic in both directions for miles.....People would either be making their way to the clubs or just straight cruising....It’s not like that anymore....A lot of clubs have either moved or simply been shut down.....I moved to Atlanta in 99’, right after I graduated from Florida A&M University and I have seen the slow down of night life within the city...
Atlanta has indeed changed since the last time I've been there. I'll be back there this summer, so I consider this a preview of what I'll see. Great video, Cosmo and FWJ. Thanks for posting this.
the crime rate has gone down a lot in atlanta over the past several years ....im sure Louisuanas crine rate is still worse than Atlanta...i only live 45 miles outside Atlanta ...I Love that city its beautiful
I love atl... cant wait to move there in a couple years, I vacation there every year... im born and raised in Detroit, but somehow when I go to Atlanta I feel like Im home.
Even back in the day, this is what we did: rode out and slam sounds around these places. Gas used to be extremely cheap even into the 2000s. Under $1 cheap. The city seems to keep on growing!
I lived in Georgia for 10 years and I must admit, this the one thing I miss most about it. Way to go on the music choice! One suggestion: There are "radio edits" of these songs that come without the curse words, just in case there are those watching these videos that may be offended by the lyrics Otherwise, magnificent job!
Haha, I remember when this song first came out (the first song), and I used to bump it 24/7. Great video of some streets that I didn't get a chance to see, when I visited the ATL. On a side note, you didnt get a chance to film Virginia-Highlands or Little Five Points?
I used to live on 14th street across from Piedmont Park. Getting ready to move back after 15 yrs. Love the ATL but could do without the soundtrack. Gives an unsettling taste...as if I'm about to get capped!
Most of the people that live in Atlanta live outside of the Perimeter (I-285). When it comes to snow, the average is around 2 inches. While some winters it may snow, others it won't. It can get icy in the north/northeast suburbs due to cold air damming. Generally, the lows get around 25-38 F in the winters. They can dip into the teens or single digits once in a while. Highs are averaged around 48-56 F depending on where you are in the Metro. Somedays, the highs fail to get above freezing.Other days in the winter, it gets into the 60s maybe 70s. Hope this answers your questions.
Omid Gul That why I said live outside of Atlanta like Cobb County, Gwinett County, and North Fulton, those counties is a safe place to live at including Alpharetta, GA, Johns Creek, GA, Duluth, GA, Buckhead, and Marietta, GA
That was a great video. Atlanta is a nice city, with the exception of the pro football team and the idiots who work at the city airport. I live in New Orleans, so you can understand what I mean by that. Other than all that, it was still a great looking video.
atlanta inner city 500 ,000 metropolitan area 4 million 25, 000 move to atlanta every month its like 5 cities in one downtown, buckhead, midtown ,cobb, perimeter, transit marta is rated number 1 through out canada and the usa for cleanness and security marta has its own police force separate from the city always a cop present day and night of course all cities have bad and good about them. always outdoor events most blacks and whites are educated the city is clean and well kept a lot of nice well kept apartments and residential neighborhoods. people are still friendly in most areas.
Atlanta is a beautiful city especially at night....the tall skyscrapers light up the city at night
ATLANTA LOOKING FRESH AND CLEAN!
So fresh and so clean!
I am from Georgia I am sick of it...
Yay! Outkast! The best rap group in history. I'm getting ready to move to Atlanta myself for a fresh new start in life and I'm sooo excited! Thanks for the tour! :)
I Love You ATLANTA!!!!
I'm so ready to move to Atlanta!
Almost every cities in the U.S is worth living in!:D) I wish I live in the States, as I currently live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada right now.
+David Mu Since you're from Toronto, I suggest LA, Nyc, San Francisco, and Boston or Seattle.
Kijari Tariq what about Chicago (Isn't that similar to Toronto's style?)?
+David Mu Yes but it's very dangerous. It's Southside is ranked as a top 5 most dangerous area in the u.s. Otherwise, Chicago is like a second city to Toronto.
WE FULL
Loved my trip to Atl, downtown looks great better than most southern city downtowns.
Atlanta needs a makeover, more stores ,and a time square like area .The city really has a lot of potential.
centennial Olympic park is the "time square area"

Great city but it's dangerous to live because of violence, crime, burglary and home invasion. Be safe Mr. Robert!

To all that live in Atlanta, how much snow and ice do you all get in winter and how cold does it get?

No Turner Field????
I'm not surprised. They need to build a new stadium IN downtown Atlanta or north of it. I hate the location of Turner Field.
