If a Brute can 1v1 the Master Chief & nearly win, while filled with dozens of rounds, then yeah I do agree that one Brute could beat 1 Wookie. If it was in a place that was to the Wookies' advantage, say a forest, then the Wookies stand a chance of winning, though they will take casualties.

Ironically as a race they are fairly intelligent . Their nature is a problem and is how they went from a space fairing race to nuking themselves back to the stone ages before the Covenant came along. So they are smart but also brutal in nature and short tempered .
In one of the books a brute decapitated a human prisoner with a backhand. Also in Halo Contact Harvest a Chieftain is hit and pined against a wall with a Warthog, breaks his femur and starts to lift the front of a 3 ton vehicle.
They also have a game they play called "Tossers" mentioned in Halo: Retribution and Silent Storm, where they throw humans by their arms and legs hard enough to dismember them from their sockets
Slumbering Abyss don’t really know why people are debating who would win with a 10ft monster like a brute or a Wookiee. They’d like not even stand a chance in a hand to hand fight. All the brute would need to do is punch the Wookiee a few times and it be braindead

Since it was kind of one sided... why not Wookies vs. Elites. They are roughly the same height and weight, both are proud and honorable warriors, and both have minds for sophisticated strategy. And that's even in a bare bones fight between a lone Wookie Warrior against an elite conscript (the better bulk of there military on their home world) . The Wookie has his standard blade (no Bowcaster because let's be honest, a melee duel to the death between these two would be awesome) and the Elite would have standard conscript armor (which is not shielded) and a war blade (think an energy sword but made out of a light weight, durable metal). It would be one Hell of a fight.
lmao no just no... have u actually read the lore on Elite hand to hand combat... and how they use their plasma swords.. xb think of the best special forces of humanity then multiply that... Elites are known for their surgical precision when it comes to warfare... wookis are still basically tribal a 3rd world race compared to elites.. xD
Elite would win 9/10 times. They are similar in strength and size, but in speed and fighting the elites have a massive advantage. The elites are much better fighters, even the lower level ones, and they are much faster, and I would wager they are usually much smarter too. Not to mention elites are much more familiar with firearms and swords. It’s just another unfair fight.
Slightly Nerdy elites were trained from the time they could stand to become perfect warriors. Honor guards are selected from the best and are mostly some of the best sword masters. An honor guard would demolish an imperial royal guard in cqc

Josh Powis personally I think this is a pretty unfair matchup. Spartan augmentations and mjolnir armor give them an enormous advantage, given that each team's training is both exceptional. Spartans are simply on a higher level than clone commandos imo. I think a much more fair matchup would be one Spartan 2 (maybe chief?) against Delta Squad
They toss around Spartans. Which they wear armor that weighs around a 1000 pounds. They are much stronger than Spartans, regardless of the Mjolnir armor enhancements.
GSarge17 I feel like the AAT would decimate the wraith before it could do any damage. The wraith is more of a mortar vehicle, and the AAT is literally a tank, the human tanks in halo destroy wraiths in a matter of seconds because of their straight forward firing
The Brute just physically overmatched the Wookiee by such a crazy margin and are known to fight with such brutal savagery I couldn’t imagine a Wookiee even standing before an enraged Brute.
I know they say "clip" in the halo books, but not a single firearm in the halo games use them. Clips haven't been largely used since the 1940's and 1950's
An elite with an energy sword would be a noticeable threat for a jedi (The energy sword's design is a perfect counter for lightsabers, an honor guard against a non force sensitive in melee combat would almost always win considering they're sword expertise and some honor guards can go invisible. And the brute would just be to overwhelming in most cases.
In weapons aspect, the Royal Guard have the advantage. (force pikes can stop lightsabers so they could stop energy swords and can chop off limbs with a simple tap) plus the Royal Guard are better at hand to hand combat. They don't have energy shields and can't go invisible. Would be interesting.
A force pike would be much more dangerous to an energy sword wielder than a regular lightsaber so that is a pretty good advantage weapon wise, but still the invisibility of the elite and the durability of a brute is still a bigger advantage. if the royal guard just spears the brute in the head he definitely wins but that's hard to do to a raging brute. And without invisibility for the elite he would probably win there too. Definitely would be interesting. But depends on the situation.
The brutes would have this one. In many of the novels, brutes are able to overpower Spartans, meaning they are stronger. Spartans can flip over 30 to 40 ton tanks with ease, so that's saying something. They are better armed, while wookie weapons fire lasers, hot beams of tangible light the brute weapons fire grenades, spikes, and red hot plasma capable of chewing thru hull steel. The brutes have better armor, and have been known to be much more unpredictable. I think we should do another match up with a better fitting opponent, brutes from halo vs the krogen from mass effect, or maybe brutes vs locust grubs (the standard ones, or maybe have a squad of each lead by 1 royal gaurd grub and one brute cheiftain)

Elite honor guards are trained from birth, they have impressive skills, extremely powerful armor with shields, powerful weapons, and have a massive physical advantage over humans. Easy W.
I think that you should do an episode with the Brutes vs The Krogans. I think the Krogan have a better chance against the Brutes. Or do a Krogan vs Wookie any of those I think will make some great videos.
Krogans v. wookiees... god damn. That'd be neat. Krogans.. they regenerate and have redundant organs, and have an official 'Blood Rage'! (And despite that they use solid projectile weapons, wookiees often wear very little armor, plus the Claymore is just boss.)
I have to disagree here. While you could argue that the Krogan is more resilient compared to the Brute, the Brute is much larger than the Krogan - averaging at around 500-680 kilograms compared to the measly (incomparison) 150-200kg Krogan, and also have been demonstrated to be much stronger, with individuals like Atriox tossing around Spartans and Elites with ease. I'd probably say that an Elite and a Krogan is a more fair match up, considering they both fall in the same weight/height and strength range, with the Krogan edging in durability.

Don’t think people realise what the brutes are truly like. They are nine feet tall, can’t even imagine a hulking creature that tall standing over me. It could literally crush your head easily with one hand. The brutes would absolutely annihilate a Wookiee. Elites and fully armored Spartan 2's are equal in strength, at least that's what I recall from Bungie's series. There's a good section in First Strike were the Chief is wrestling a elite and struggling with it. It mentions him fighting on halo for days and the elite being fresh but before they grapple he also shoots the elite and I quote " a lucky round penetrated and *deformed* its shoulder".
An elite is not equal to a spartan 2 in strength. Sometime along the way idk if Spartan 2s got a buff or brutes got a nerf but Spartans 2s would shit on any brute that isn't a chieftan or higher. And skilled spartans shit on chieftans with ease
@@saucegodjj1169 Brutes are highly stronger than a MJNIOR clad Spartan. Spartans usually use their Reflexes, intelligence, and abundance of Skill to put Brutes down in Close quarters.
I feel like this one depends heavily on the location of the squad battle. If it were in an open field, the brutes would definitely win. If it were in the wookie's native environment, the forests of kashyyyk, I think the wookie's agility would come into play and give them a huge advantage.
Yall are all forgetting the fact that the brutes home world is 2 times heavier than earth, they would piderman up them trees and there emens strength means good grip
Spartans would probably be stronger and faster, and definitely heavier, so hand to hand would win. With weapons the Spartan would lose is they both had standard weapons (AR/BR/DMR/SMG for Spartan and plasma rifle for the Terminator) then the Terminator probably wins (assuming Skynet Plasma is as about as good as Covenant Plasma). If the Spartan had a laser/railgun/grenade launcher/sniper rifle then they are likely to win. If both are using modern firearms then they will likely end up getting to hand-to-hand range before either of them is killed/disabled by gunfire.
I'd give it to the Elites. Klingons are more akin to a human in terms of agility and size, but a bit more durable. But, Elites are pretty damn strong and big compared to humans. Elites could probably pull their standard battle routine on the Klingons. But if the Batleth was Energy Sword proof, that could make things interesting.
Sangheili will win because they have special Ops that are experts of assassinations plus if you have an arbiter he will win against klingons because of his ability to be the best of all elites
Please do the entire Grand Army Of The Republic vs. The UNSC both universe full military power in a all out war. The Republic jedi leaders, the null class arc troopers, bad batch, 6 million-2 billion(depending on legends or not), clone commandos the entire Republic fleet against the UNSC marine core, ODSTs, all spartin programs, and UNSC fleets. I would like to really see this the clones who are breed for war vs the toughest marines humanity as to offer.
Star wars would wreck, While at first the daleks would at first win, The empire would develop technology for dalek armor specifically, A distruptor alone might be enough to one shot a dalek, How about we tone this down to a 1v1 of a Dark trooper phase III versus a Dalek.
Could you do a top 5 or top 10 under-rated lore or facts within the star wars universe? For example; my friends told me that Plasma weapons existed in star wars. I was really surprised because I always thought that Lazer's where the most and only used form of blast fire in the Star Wars Universe! Stuff like that should be more well known or more talked about!
Based on the 2 rounds my guess is that the Brutes will stomp. Seriously tough mofos. Iirc, there was an incident when a Brute went into a bezerker rage and literally tore a Hunter apart with its bare hands. Considering that Hunters are about 12ft tall and carry a heavy plasma canon in one hand and in the other a 2 ton shield made of starship armour.

But they beat back the flood with the help of forerunner super weapons and a post war alliance with the Sangheli, and the flood are arguably much more of a threat due to there ability to infect entire species with a handful of spores, which would include the reapers as thwy are partially biological.
They have the technological advantage for sure, but you are looking at about maybe a dozen fully developed planets worth of military vs a force designed to invade an entire galaxy at the same time. The sheer number of reapers would just overwhelm UNSC forces.
The CCC No they won't I don't think you realise the fact that you'd have to be augmented to even beat an elite in hand to had as they are physically stronger than any human. Elites also have much better armour and they will only need their energy swords to slash and cleave the death troopers easy and if the death troopers keep them back with suppressive fire it wouldn't do much because they'll just activate cloaking and find another way to attack the death troopers. Again even though the death troopers have great training they are outclassed in every single way.

Terran Alliance? The government that controls Earth in Starcraft is the United Earth Directorate, they literally invaded the early Dominion in Brood War.

Gungans are pretty skilled at h2h tbh, but a US marine would blow its head off long before. Plus we have a lot of explosives. We could also use said drone to release diseases or something. Idk.

Well, the bowcaster can probably rip apart a Brute's limb if given a direct, full-power hit. Wookies would use their combative advantage to engage the Brutes before they can close the distance. Perhaps they could use their higher climbing ability due to claws and their homeworld to outmaneuver Brutes in the trees. It really comes down to armament and terrain.

People tend to underestimate the native brute armaments, but the fact is that each and every brute weapon are designed to be the very definition of overkill while also being very effective. Case in point, the spiker on itself is a rapidfire railgun that shoots molten metal that turns into nails as they fly, fusing into their target and/or surface of impact as they cooloff after having struck and this is specifically designed for mid-range encounters, yet it's handled and used as a fucking pistol by the brutes. It's also equipped with two blades along the weapon because two is better than one. The mauler? Straight up shoots superheated shrapnel everywhere; doesn't matter, everything in front of the barrel can and most likely will eat molten metal right to the face. Can be used as a dagger. The brute shot is both a grenade launcher with its rebounding projectiles as well as a giant fuck-off blade tied to its back. Gravity hammer either sucks you in at breakneck speeds or sends you flying to the moon thanks to gravitational manipulation if it isn't used to crush stuff outright. Also, its an axe. The skewer is yet again a railgun, but fires a stupidly huge javelin at extremely far distances. Also, it can be used to spear stuff in close combat. And etc.
I’d love to see almost like a reverse predator situation where one Wookie survives that initial confrontation and starts hunting the brutes individually in the jungle
my most memorable scene of the halo books was a brute grabbing a spartan by the legs and slamming them on the ground left and right like a cartoon scene.

It depends on the environment, if they are in flat land, brutes would kill the wookies with no where to run. But with some trees, the wookies could sort of hide and snipe the brutes as the brutes go into a rage and forget to try and evaluate the situation, thereby forfeiting any chance left of the brutes' survival.
Brutes are also tree climbers . And generally don't go into a rage because they are getting shot at. Its when a pack mate goes down that they will go into a rage. And if they see that the Wookies are in the trees. The Wookies are in trouble as 1,500 to 2,000lbs great Apes start charging up the trees after them. And not all of them will go into a rage at the same time. Some will keep a level head and start returning fire. If they have plasma weapo s the forest is on fire in a few minutes.
A single brute almost strangled Chief to death. That’s a 7 foot 1200 pound dude getting lifted in the air and strangled. Wookiee don’t got a chance. Brutes are faster than Spartans too
Bobby Evans exactly. Some brutes can get up to 10 ft tall. Imagine a fully armoured, energy shield brutes with a gravity hammer vs a full armoured Wookiee with a bowcaster. The Wookiee be able to get some shots in but if a spartan can get killed in one hit by the hammer, a Wookiee would literally explode lol. Even in a hand to hand fight the Wookiee would get decimated. In one book, a brute back handed a marine prisoner lightly and decapitated him
Brutes aren’t faster than Spartans, lore wise they are equally as fast with the Spartans being more agile, quiccer, smarter, more skilled, and had faster reaction times, they are stronger than Spartans tho 100%.... Elites are lore wise are as strong as Spartans but not as fast with the Spartans again being more agile, better trained, and have quiccer reaction times tho once the brutes were introduced into the series all of a sudden Brutes became the only enemies the Spartans couldn’t just flat out overpower physically and had to be careful when fighting.....then again I think that’s what was meant to set brutes apart I specify lore wise becuz that’s the intent of the creators I believe but also becuz feats wise there are times in halo lore Spartans end up easily annihilating brutes and elites alike through their sheer strength alone(in recent lore at least)...really it seems like it’s up to whatever the author wants
I think you got the one-v-one right. I think you underestimate the wookie’s intelligence, though, as a group. At worst I’d place the outcome of the five-v-five at 60/40 against the wookies, and at best 30/70 in their favor.
Wookiees are intelligent, sneaky, and are expert marksmen. Their bowcasters, long rifles, and disruptor carbines are more powerful than most Brute weapons, and for more advanced weapons like fuel rod cannons, Wookiees have missile launchers that can lock on to targets and fire 5 missiles in a short time. In a ranged battle, size really becomes a disadvantage, as you are a larger, easier to see and easier to hit target.
Graphite brutes were able to build up a civilization that entered the nuclear age, so I’d say they were actually fully capable of being very intelligent and scientific. What holds the brutes back is that they’re naturally very aggressive and war like, causing them to nuke their planet back into the Stone Age. Wookies never accomplished this.
@@punctuationman334 I meant a more equal level, and I also meant more tactical smarts, not just technological advancement. Brutes are almost overly agressive in their attacks and fight with instinct and rage, while the Wookies are more sphoistcated and collected. Not saying wookies would win, because they 10/10 times would lose, but just pointing out the smart factor. Course saying intelligence is diffeent to smarts and should jave probably used diffrent wording.
Graphite ok then I would say you’re correct. I was making the incorrect assumption that you were putting the Wookiee above the brutes intellectually. I could see the wookies realizing that they don’t have the physical advantage and trying to bait the brutes into a trap. Maybe jumping from above while the brutes charge at a line wookie and using their grenades and bowcasters to obliterate them. It matters who’s the leader. A brute like atriox wouldn’t be so overly aggressive and would take a far more tactical approach, while a brute like tarterus would just charge the Wookiee’s and rely on his amazing strength.

Since it was kind of one sided... why not Wookies vs. Elites. They are roughly the same height and weight, both are proud and honorable warriors, and both have minds for sophisticated strategy. And that's even in a bare bones fight between a lone Wookie Warrior against an elite conscript (the better bulk of there military on their home world) . The Wookie has his standard blade (no Bowcaster because let's be honest, a melee duel to the death between these two would be awesome) and the Elite would have standard conscript armor (which is not shielded) and a war blade (think an energy sword but made out of a light weight, durable metal). It would be one Hell of a fight.

Elite would win 9/10 times. They are similar in strength and size, but in speed and fighting the elites have a massive advantage. The elites are much better fighters, even the lower level ones, and they are much faster, and I would wager they are usually much smarter too. Not to mention elites are much more familiar with firearms and swords. It’s just another unfair fight.

Josh Powis personally I think this is a pretty unfair matchup. Spartan augmentations and mjolnir armor give them an enormous advantage, given that each team's training is both exceptional. Spartans are simply on a higher level than clone commandos imo. I think a much more fair matchup would be one Spartan 2 (maybe chief?) against Delta Squad

GSarge17 I feel like the AAT would decimate the wraith before it could do any damage. The wraith is more of a mortar vehicle, and the AAT is literally a tank, the human tanks in halo destroy wraiths in a matter of seconds because of their straight forward firing
Would depend on the terrain too, hills/mountain gives the Wraith an advantage while flat plains/urban will give the edge to the AAT.
The Wraith is more like a Support/Artillery piece rather than a proper tank.

Covenant Elite/Brute Honor Guard vs Emperor's Royal Guard
An elite with an energy sword would be a noticeable threat for a jedi (The energy sword's design is a perfect counter for lightsabers, an honor guard against a non force sensitive in melee combat would almost always win considering they're sword expertise and some honor guards can go invisible. And the brute would just be to overwhelming in most cases.

In weapons aspect, the Royal Guard have the advantage. (force pikes can stop lightsabers so they could stop energy swords and can chop off limbs with a simple tap) plus the Royal Guard are better at hand to hand combat. They don't have energy shields and can't go invisible. Would be interesting.
A force pike would be much more dangerous to an energy sword wielder than a regular lightsaber so that is a pretty good advantage weapon wise, but still the invisibility of the elite and the durability of a brute is still a bigger advantage. if the royal guard just spears the brute in the head he definitely wins but that's hard to do to a raging brute. And without invisibility for the elite he would probably win there too. Definitely would be interesting. But depends on the situation.

The brutes would have this one. In many of the novels, brutes are able to overpower Spartans, meaning they are stronger. Spartans can flip over 30 to 40 ton tanks with ease, so that's saying something. They are better armed, while wookie weapons fire lasers, hot beams of tangible light the brute weapons fire grenades, spikes, and red hot plasma capable of chewing thru hull steel. The brutes have better armor, and have been known to be much more unpredictable. I think we should do another match up with a better fitting opponent, brutes from halo vs the krogen from mass effect, or maybe brutes vs locust grubs (the standard ones, or maybe have a squad of each lead by 1 royal gaurd grub and one brute cheiftain)

I have to disagree here. While you could argue that the Krogan is more resilient compared to the Brute, the Brute is much larger than the Krogan - averaging at around 500-680 kilograms compared to the measly (incomparison) 150-200kg Krogan, and also have been demonstrated to be much stronger, with individuals like Atriox tossing around Spartans and Elites with ease. I'd probably say that an Elite and a Krogan is a more fair match up, considering they both fall in the same weight/height and strength range, with the Krogan edging in durability.

There's a good section in First Strike were the Chief is wrestling a elite and struggling with it. It mentions him fighting on halo for days and the elite being fresh but before they grapple he also shoots the elite and I quote " a lucky round penetrated and *deformed* its shoulder".

I feel like this one depends heavily on the location of the squad battle. If it were in an open field, the brutes would definitely win. If it were in the wookie's native environment, the forests of kashyyyk, I think the wookie's agility would come into play and give them a huge advantage.
The Jiralhanae homeworld of Doisac was also thick with Jungles. It would be like nostalgia to the Brutes if they were in Kashyyyk

Spartans would probably be stronger and faster, and definitely heavier, so hand to hand would win. With weapons the Spartan would lose is they both had standard weapons (AR/BR/DMR/SMG for Spartan and plasma rifle for the Terminator) then the Terminator probably wins (assuming Skynet Plasma is as about as good as Covenant Plasma). If the Spartan had a laser/railgun/grenade launcher/sniper rifle then they are likely to win.
If both are using modern firearms then they will likely end up getting to hand-to-hand range before either of them is killed/disabled by gunfire.
Spartans don't have standard weapons, They are given weapons for the mission, In this kind of fight Chief would be loaded with heavy weaponry.

I'd give it to the Elites. Klingons are more akin to a human in terms of agility and size, but a bit more durable. But, Elites are pretty damn strong and big compared to humans. Elites could probably pull their standard battle routine on the Klingons. But if the Batleth was Energy Sword proof, that could make things interesting.
Sangheili will win because they have special Ops that are experts of assassinations plus if you have an arbiter he will win against klingons because of his ability to be the best of all elites

Iirc, there was an incident when a Brute went into a bezerker rage and literally tore a Hunter apart with its bare hands. Considering that Hunters are about 12ft tall and carry a heavy plasma canon in one hand and in the other a 2 ton shield made of starship armour.

Elites also have much better armour and they will only need their energy swords to slash and cleave the death troopers easy and if the death troopers keep them back with suppressive fire it wouldn't do much because they'll just activate cloaking and find another way to attack the death troopers. Again even though the death troopers have great training they are outclassed in every single way.

Srsly though, WH40k is build on so many overpowerd levels fighting other overpowerd levels... Nothing can beat Warhammer 40k unless it's from Warhammer... As in... Just send some Black Templars with their "Ethernal Crusader" the 1000km long ship, 8000+ astartres, unbelivable brutality, hundrets of dreadnoughts, titans and who knows what more... 40k stomps.

Galactic empire vs imperial guard/navy would be an amazing fight (although since eckhartsladder doesn't like EU stats it might be a bit one sided) but the entire imperium (the mechanicus the adeptus astartes the official assassinorum the inquisition ex...) it would be like the galactic empire vs the systems alliance just a one sided curve stomp

Well, the bowcaster can probably rip apart a Brute's limb if given a direct, full-power hit. Wookies would use their combative advantage to engage the Brutes before they can close the distance. Perhaps they could use their higher climbing ability due to claws and their homeworld to outmaneuver Brutes in the trees. It really comes down to armament and terrain.
Yep. Wookiees with multi shot Bowcasters would stomp the Brutes in the ranged round.

People tend to underestimate the native brute armaments, but the fact is that each and every brute weapon are designed to be the very definition of overkill while also being very effective.
Case in point, the spiker on itself is a rapidfire railgun that shoots molten metal that turns into nails as they fly, fusing into their target and/or surface of impact as they cooloff after having struck and this is specifically designed for mid-range encounters, yet it's handled and used as a fucking pistol by the brutes. It's also equipped with two blades along the weapon because two is better than one.
The mauler? Straight up shoots superheated shrapnel everywhere; doesn't matter, everything in front of the barrel can and most likely will eat molten metal right to the face. Can be used as a dagger.
The brute shot is both a grenade launcher with its rebounding projectiles as well as a giant fuck-off blade tied to its back.
Gravity hammer either sucks you in at breakneck speeds or sends you flying to the moon thanks to gravitational manipulation if it isn't used to crush stuff outright. Also, its an axe.
The skewer is yet again a railgun, but fires a stupidly huge javelin at extremely far distances. Also, it can be used to spear stuff in close combat.
And etc.

It depends on the environment, if they are in flat land, brutes would kill the wookies with no where to run. But with some trees, the wookies could sort of hide and snipe the brutes as the brutes go into a rage and forget to try and evaluate the situation, thereby forfeiting any chance left of the brutes' survival.

Brutes are also tree climbers . And generally don't go into a rage because they are getting shot at. Its when a pack mate goes down that they will go into a rage. And if they see that the Wookies are in the trees. The Wookies are in trouble as 1,500 to 2,000lbs great Apes start charging up the trees after them. And not all of them will go into a rage at the same time. Some will keep a level head and start returning fire. If they have plasma weapo s the forest is on fire in a few minutes.

A single brute almost strangled Chief to death. That’s a 7 foot 1200 pound dude getting lifted in the air and strangled. Wookiee don’t got a chance. Brutes are faster than Spartans too
Bobby Evans exactly. Some brutes can get up to 10 ft tall. Imagine a fully armoured, energy shield brutes with a gravity hammer vs a full armoured Wookiee with a bowcaster. The Wookiee be able to get some shots in but if a spartan can get killed in one hit by the hammer, a Wookiee would literally explode lol. Even in a hand to hand fight the Wookiee would get decimated. In one book, a brute back handed a marine prisoner lightly and decapitated him
Brutes aren’t faster than Spartans, lore wise they are equally as fast with the Spartans being more agile, quiccer, smarter, more skilled, and had faster reaction times, they are stronger than Spartans tho 100%....
Elites are lore wise are as strong as Spartans but not as fast with the Spartans again being more agile, better trained, and have quiccer reaction times tho once the brutes were introduced into the series all of a sudden Brutes became the only enemies the Spartans couldn’t just flat out overpower physically and had to be careful when fighting.....then again I think that’s what was meant to set brutes apart
I specify lore wise becuz that’s the intent of the creators I believe but also becuz feats wise there are times in halo lore Spartans end up easily annihilating brutes and elites alike through their sheer strength alone(in recent lore at least)...really it seems like it’s up to whatever the author wants
I think you got the one-v-one right. I think you underestimate the wookie’s intelligence, though, as a group.
At worst I’d place the outcome of the five-v-five at 60/40 against the wookies, and at best 30/70 in their favor.
Wookiees are intelligent, sneaky, and are expert marksmen. Their bowcasters, long rifles, and disruptor carbines are more powerful than most Brute weapons, and for more advanced weapons like fuel rod cannons, Wookiees have missile launchers that can lock on to targets and fire 5 missiles in a short time. In a ranged battle, size really becomes a disadvantage, as you are a larger, easier to see and easier to hit target.
I think the author of this video underestimates the bowcaster.

Graphite brutes were able to build up a civilization that entered the nuclear age, so I’d say they were actually fully capable of being very intelligent and scientific. What holds the brutes back is that they’re naturally very aggressive and war like, causing them to nuke their planet back into the Stone Age. Wookies never accomplished this.
@@punctuationman334 I meant a more equal level, and I also meant more tactical smarts, not just technological advancement. Brutes are almost overly agressive in their attacks and fight with instinct and rage, while the Wookies are more sphoistcated and collected. Not saying wookies would win, because they 10/10 times would lose, but just pointing out the smart factor. Course saying intelligence is diffeent to smarts and should jave probably used diffrent wording.
Graphite ok then I would say you’re correct. I was making the incorrect assumption that you were putting the Wookiee above the brutes intellectually. I could see the wookies realizing that they don’t have the physical advantage and trying to bait the brutes into a trap. Maybe jumping from above while the brutes charge at a line wookie and using their grenades and bowcasters to obliterate them. It matters who’s the leader. A brute like atriox wouldn’t be so overly aggressive and would take a far more tactical approach, while a brute like tarterus would just charge the Wookiee’s and rely on his amazing strength.
