Pretty remarkable how all these planets manage to be just one climate each. If Star Wars characters saw Earth they'd probably be like "HOLY CRAPEZOID THIS PLANET IS A HYBRID OF OTHER PLANETS"
@@StickmanAnakin that's what I was thinking too, lol! There's a lot of shit you would think would be shown. Species are treated like a monolith, "oh they all do this, they all speak this language" but like, are you sure? Maybe not all Jawas sell droids, maybe that's just a stereotype. And not even one tusken raider ever ventured out and learned Basic, journeyed other cultures, spoke for the native people on Tatooine? There's so much left to be done here, so many stories to tell, but Didney Star Wars just wants to rehash the same stuff
Like in real life, most planets only have one climate. But there are exceptions. For example, take Alderaan and Endor. Lots of different climates on those two planets. And Jawas do not just sell droids. Depending on the group, they’ll sell different items. Even planets like Mustafar have forests and mountain ranges.
Yeah there are exceptions, but mostly we just see very small parts, say for example in an episode of the clone wars, the entire togruta population was kidnapped to be enslaved, but then when they were rescued, it was just about 100 people that all easily fit onto 1 venator. Of course it's also a budget reason but I'm just pointing out that they're kept very small scale in the narrative
I've found that real planets are so much stranger than any fictional planets i can think of One of my favourites is HD 80606b. It's a gas giant that is also a bomb that explodes once per orbit 💀
Isn't it weird how nearly all the planets featured here seem to have one single climate covering them 100%. Hoth being only ice, Tatooine only desert, Dagobah only swamp, Endor only forest. One would think the planets would look more like Earth and have varying climates depending on where you are.
I had to cut some due to some issues during the edit :/ Missing planets on the original list are: Geonosis, Correlia, Yavin and Mustafar But considering how many planets there are in general i might just make a part two

I’m sure it’s not the case, but the editing kinda reminds me of something that’s AI-generated. Like, it just pulls a random Google image search result, and matches it from word correlation to the script.
I‘d say the closest thing star wars has to actual pokemon is the climbing dragon obi wan rides on his way to kill Grievous in Episode 3, it is basically Koraidon

To give you some perspective how MASSIVE the Coruscant ecumenopolis (fancy word for city-planet) really is - while the upper levels of Coruscant are considered relatively safe and high-class, levels as high as 1313 are told to be extremely dangerous hives of scum and villainy. The "ground floor" of Coruscant is either completely irradiated wasteland or covered entirely by trash (heaps of which can also reach multiple levels of height), populated by the worst eldritch monsters or individuals in the entire galaxy.

Fun Fact: The Homogeneity of planets' biomes in Star Wars (ie. The way every star wars planet has one biome, eg. Tatooine being a desert all around or Kamino being an ocean world) is more than likely a result of George Lucas being heavily inspired by Frank Herbert's Dune, which pioneered the whole planets-with-one-climate type of sci-fi world building.
