Ty for being honest. I got qc35 ii for this Christmas i think they are great. Yes airpods max are good at anc. But i don't want to carry my headphones like a purse
Oh wow - "This video is for someone that already has a the Bose QC35 and thinking of switching" Now the UA-cam algorithm both know what i want and what i have!
I bought a QC35 ii in 2022. I had made up my mind to get the QC45, but I got a really good deal on the 35ii. Plus there are some features missing from the 45, like adjusting ANC. Switching ANC to medium during a windy situation really helps.
Me too..got my QC35ii for $120 like new and now I'm very tempted to get the sony xm4 since they're on sale for $228.99. But I feel as though I'll be sacrificing the comfort for better sound by goinv w sony.
I'm currently using the "Bose QC 35 i"and have had them since late 2017. Thinking about upgrading to the Airpod Max soon as my Bose headphones have done wonders for when I'm traveling via plane with the ANC turned on. Surprisingly my battery life is still amazing with the Bose headphones but the ear-cups have finally started to tear up in the past month. Before I was going to order a 3rd party ear-cup replacement I started to question whether or not its time to upgrade to a new pair of headphones that will last me another four years.
I think Bose did a great job with QC 35 ii. Released in 2017, and still people compare it with airpods max, sony 1000 XM4. Look he said a main thing, how good a headphone sounds, if it is not comfortable you Won't enjoy music often. That's the case with Bose QC 2. Though, sony XM4, XM3 sounds better, I always pick up Bose QC when I go to work. It’s like natural instinct.
Bose QC35 II sound better for me than NC700 and Airpods Max. After listening each headphones for a couple of days comparing all of them, I decided to return Airpod Max and NC700, and kept my QC35 II with me. They have opened sound, very good quality sound, enough bass, great ANC and super light and comfortable with great size and protection case.
@@jatnierdorta Agree with you on the instrument separation - Airpods Max is a winner here. But Airpods Max provide so much treble that after listing to them for 1 hour my ears need to have a rest for couple of hours, ear drums literally hurt. Regarding sound stage QC35 still has decent sound stage like all Bose products, at least to me. I also have Momentum 3 and I like them a lot as well. Bose are more universal headphone for any occasion while Momentum are solely for music listening. Bose I used for work in the office. If I could I would keep Airpods Max just for podcasts, interviews, some documentary and movies because of the clarity.
Love how thorough you test products and the comparisons you do that others may not think of. I have a pair of QC35s and have been thinking of going the NC700 or XM4 route; we'll see and your reviews/comparisons are always extremely helpful!
And also about the ear cups, the leathery like ones get sweaty fast but max's don't. I prefer the earcups on the max's over everything else I have tried.
@@Saarnash86 I agree. Have used the AirPods Max from SYD to LHW a couple of days ago. I watched a movie and a couple of series nonstop. No Neck strain or heat buildup on the ears. The ear cups a very comfortable. As for noise cancelling on the aircraft, they are much better than the 700 and XM4. I am extremely happy with my purchase. Now to find a 3rd party case.

There is no such thing audible bace. Base can be boomy bass, or accurate bass. Sony bass on there headphones is boomy, rumbling bass. Headphones like Bowses are more nutural sounding which have accurate bass. Thats's why people say that Bowses headphones have no bass.

watching this because i sold my xm4s to get the airpods max, now i'm thinking about letting the airpods max go, the ambient mode is the best i've ever heard and so is the sound but the annoying way to turn these off and the clamp pressure has turned me off. gonna get the QC 35 II now, great vid
I like that you put emphasis on the comfort for big heads. My wife has the QC 35 and I cannot where them. They seem too small for my ears. Which are the best sounding most comfortable bluetooth headsets. I do not need ANC.
I really don’t like the look (and name btw) of the Bose NC700. I’d rather see them update the QC’s but anyway, deciding between the QC35 ii’s and the Sony 1000XM4 now
I have a qc 35 and airpods max. The airpods max blows the QC out of the water in terms of sound quality, anc and build quality. The QC is a tad more comfortable though.
I've got an Apple Airpods Max comparison suggestion you might be interest in. What about Airpods Max vs Dyson V10 cordless stick vac? What do you think?

I can't wait to get the AirPods Max from Beats Studio 3's. The build quality and design appears to be insane, easy changeable ear cups, great control, sound quality, ambient mode and ANC, handoff, auto pause/play, spatial audio, Dolby Atmos, Siri etc. Would be nice to see Sony to step up their game in terms of build quality and making their ambient mode more natural
I think they will all hold up about the same regarding wear and tear. I have the Bose 35’s but I am still going to buy the Apple headphones. The Bose for travel, the Apple for in the house. P.s. what’s up with putting on the Sennheiser’s while doing the review? LOL

Great review I’ve been rocking the Bose NC 700 for a year now, was a bit disappointed with some firmware issues but the latest November release fixed a lot of problems, and they are now my firm go to set... I was curious about the AirPod Max but that ridiculous case combined with very little gains and a high price point make it not worth an upgrade. Thanks you confirmed my suspicions 😀👍 besides if I want a change I can always fall back on my PX7 or H9i’s.
Sorry to break it to you, I have just received my AirPods Max and they sound miles better than the Bose. They are much more comfortable (no headband pressure, ear ups are super big and soft), have better swivelling, better transparency mode, auto-switching, spatial audio, better interaction controls, better build quality, the smart case is idea for storing inside the home as its easy to take in and out with magnets but useless for pack pack travel, the audio quality is insane, miles ahead. The ANC is also better especially at voices. The base is so crisp and punchy, doesn’t distort, wide sound stage and no distortion even at max volume. No issues with call quality, the only downside is that I had to wait 2 months to receive it. That’s it. No condensation issues, no battery drain issues nothing working perfectly. Yes I brought the Bose from Amazon to compare which I returned.
The Bose ones don't heat up your head? I gotta run my head under cold water after a couple hours, man. That's the main reason I think Imma sell my NC700's.
In nz 35 is $549 the 700 is $700 and AirPod max $1000. Yea so I’m sticking to a second hand pair on 35 for $280. The AirPods are ludicrous pricing. Don’t care how good they are. Plus mine gotten beaten around in my bag. If I don’t close my lunch box lid my steak drips on them. Did that to my previous white Bose soundlink case. Nice big stain.
