This was my buddy's first ever time on the channel! I hope you guys enjoyed his addition to the video! If you want to send him a message, or give him any feedback/say hello, etc., PLEASE REPLY TO THIS COMMENT! I'd love to show him any of your comments!
Hello Fluffy’s Buddy! I like that there is someone for Fluffy to now bounce off, it gives more life to the video (and helps make it a little longer, who’s complaining 😂).
I often like my reactors that do have company. It gives you someone to actually talk to instead of just a computer with a long time before you can listen to our feedback to you. Your friend seemed like a nice young man and seemed to enjoy VoicePlay. Geoff has his own channel which is not acapella and it's got some good stuff there as well. Jack's Lament is beautiful, Blackbird, Shenadoah, 16 Tons and more. You all react and I'll be there to listen.
thanks so much for the comment! 😊I'll definitely talk to him about those songs when discussing our next reaction! I hope you have a wonderful day! ❤@@bjspeck4337
I recommend "Carry on my wayward son", "Nothing else matters", "Running up that hill", "Seven nation army", "If I were a rich man/girl" and many more ... If you'd like an older one: "Something Just Like This"
Definitively invite your buddy back! It is enjoyable to listen to a reaction in the form of a conversation and to see both of you enjoying VP's magic! Thank you!
This is a very old Irish song (1600s about a highwayman) that has been covered MANY times. As usual, VP made it their own - and it is great 😉. PS: Ignore the grumpies in the comments 😋. Cheers 🥃🥃
Voiceplay did Dream On (Aerosmith) with Omar. There is an iconic high note. Eli, Omar, and Cesar are all capable of that note, but Cesar wanted it. Usually the featured artist would have it, but not that time. Eli is very beast, but he can do sweet and romantic, scary as all get out, and rocking beast. Great reaction, bring your friend back anytime! By the way, that low note was F1 in chest voice, a new chest low for Geoff. They have been using the karoake track for their outros for the last while. So nice to hear the harmonies that way!
It's a traditional Irish folk song. Omar is a high tenor and has sang with VoicePlay quite a few times. They invited Omar to sing with them on the stage with Chicago in a few weeks. You might want to check out Dragonborn comes and Dream that both featured Omar. Great reaction!!
Actually all these guys have crazy range. Eli, Cesar and Layne can all sing bass too. They can't get as deep as Geoff (Geoffs range is A0-A5) but they can all hit the high notes too. It's a lot of talent for one group. Omar was in the finals of The Voice last season on team Legend. Another VoicePlay collaborator, DeeJay Young, is on this season of The Voice too. My favorite song they've done with him is "Bang!" It's just a super fun song, lol. It was fun having your friend along for this ride. Seems like good music is always better when you can share it with someone. ❤
Thank you so much for the insight! I didn’t know they did Bang! By AJR. That could be fun to react to 👀 Thanks for coming back to the channel! 😊 Have a lovely day! ❤️
Enjoyed the reaction! You probably have heard this before, it's been covered by quite a few people/groups. One of the more well known recently was Metallica.
This sing has been covered by many different artists in many different styles. From various Irish artists to Peter, Paul, and Mary to Metallica. None of the members stay in their lanes when it comes to what they sing. Geoff and Layne both have 5 octaves ranges (Layne might be have a 6 octave). Cesar can really hit some high notes too (see Carry On)
This is an old Irish folk song from the 1600s. It was covered many times including Metallica, Thin Lizzy and Dubliners. Omar sang with Voiceplay several times..... Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Superstition, Dream On. And many of their minis/shorts videos.
Showing my age. I heard this from the Dubliners in 1967 when I was only 13. Tin Lizzy did it in 1973 I was 19 by then. I have also heard The Irish Rovers cover that's really good.
That’s so great! I love that for you! I’ve heard a bit from the Irish Rovers, and I love their music! Thanks for the comment, and have a lovely day 😊❤️
This is a very old Irish tune going back to 1600s. I believe a man named Patrick Fleming, acting as a highwayman stole the money from a person. He killed the man, was in prison and hung in 1650. More recent covers are Peter, Paul, and Mary; Dubliners; Clancy Brothers, Tommy Makem, Thin Lizzie, Metallica. Glad you could join us - what style of music do you like? VoicePlay does everything from Disney (and they are great) to Phil Collins -In the Air Tonight, Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Wicked, I Can't Make You Love Me, Tennessee Whiskey. Geoff has his own channel for non-acapella - I See Fire, 16 Tons, Jack's Lament, and more. Omar was on The Voice last year and was in the top 5 (he wouldn't do country-western so got sent home). If you want to hear Dream On, Cesar hits Stephen Tyler's high notes. All the VoicePlay members have extended ranges: Geoff (5+ octaves: A0 growl, B0 subharmonics, F1 full chest, Bb5 falsetto.
This is set in a drinking room which works since it is an Irish drinking song telling the story of a highwayman. The term "Whack for my daddy o" means take a shot out of the jar" Irish add "o" to several words like boyo, etc. This old song was never meant to have loud instruments - its meant for story telling.
@@FluffyPlaysGamez I believe F1 is his lowest chest note as of now, but he keeps getting lower so who knows what we will hear from him in the future🤣 Have a great day!

Not taking anything away from Voiceplay, but I grew up on Thin Lizzy's version and it will always be "the one to beat" for me...

You meant Dream On where Cesar went really high. He didn’t sing with them for Carry On 😅
@@thisismetoday7423 True - but Omar did sing with them on that one. Sometimes that's enough to get things mixed up in the brain.
