How to manage Gestational Diabetes | Low Sugar Diet

- A month ago I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes.
It is a condition in which a woman without diabetes develops high blood sugar levels during pregnancy.
Gestational diabetes generally results in few symptoms; however, it does increase the risk of pre-eclampsia, depression, and requiring a Caesarean section.
Let me share to you how I managed my Gestational Diabetes by just eating the right food and consistenly measuring my sugar level.

Hi sis ? Before u take ur breakfast .. u should fast every night before u monitor ung BS in the morning before breakfast ?
Not really. Only If your doctor told you to so because ur blood will be checked in the laboratory. Otherwise self monitor like mine don't need to fast the night before. Thanks for watching 😊
@@armilayt thankyou so much for answering sis .. can you help me what should i ate in dinner so that may FBS or my blood sugar before breakfast is low .. most of the time i monitor it and the result if always 92, 94, 95 , like that
I usually eat wheatbread sandwich or brown rice with meat and vegetables and no more dessert or just a small piece of chocolate or fruits. Eat before 8pm and drink lots of water. Also in the morning once you wake up drink 2 glasses of water then measure after an hour right before you eat. Hope this helps
