Great features. I like the lantern settings and the colors on the button that tell you when you need to charge it. I like the night shots too--I was looking for an alligator.

That’s quite a light. Love the lantern mode and magnetic base. That would be awesome for work. I don’t necessarily collect flashlights but I do have some nice ones that work really good. Seems like every year they come out with something that does a little more or is a little brighter. 👍👍

I have multiple OIights , My EDC is also the Olight Arkfeld UV use it everyday.
Love the Arkfeld. It's been my favorite EDC light for quite some time now. Very comfortable and versatile 😁👍

Good idea. I would have to add a wider stand, a USB-C port BUILT INTO the flashlight and some sort of handle so you can carry it like a proper lantern.
Next they will have a Prowess mini. That's what I'm waiting for.

Hey Grey, said before how much I hate reviews, but only because I want the products reviewed, if it is good product. 😂😂😂 Man, at this time just sinking money into my farm and things like solar and hand pumps for the well, everything needed for goat milk, butter, cheese processes, expanding my quail and rabbits, more canning jars, lids and rings as well as everything else....I figure in one more year to move completely out to the farm. Have my middle daughter and her family out there now and my oldest grandson (from my oldest daughter) out there too. I want to be as far away from the cities as possible when it all goes to heck...just my opinion, but we haven't seen nothing yet and I just may cut it shorter and move before the elections this November.
Honestly, brother, it's a great plan, and I truly wish the best for you and your family. If I had that option, I'd be at the farm as well 🤣

O light is a favorite, but to buy them in Rand (South Africa) is very very expensive, reserved for the wealthy... I always wait for specials when I buy, I like it if they 50% off... Almost affordable, I have two small Olight EOS & I love them...
Honestly, I try to buy most things on sale. Everything has gone up so much over the past couple of years. I can only imagine how other countries are fairing. 😮💨

I like it! But if it's a lantern, how do you hang it up? Is there a lanyard or handle attachment point? Cool either way.
There is no lanyard, I assume someone could craft one. What they did is make the bottom magnetic for metal surfaces. Of course, they also added a 1/4 in thread hole in the base of the bottom cap to attach it to any type of tripod system as well. I'm not sure if that helps for your applications, but I figured I'd mention it. Thanks for watching! 😁👍
What is a recommendation for a wall charger 🔌 mine is on its way
I'm using my mounting clip that came with the unit. It's attached to my work bench, which is connected through my type c charging brick.
Seems cool but to many parts. I would just lose them. Would be great on one of thier bigger lights.

It's a proprietary battery so you have to buy it from Olight.
Technically, yes, if you have an understanding of battery chemistry and ohms law, you can buy 3rd party batteries. I just prefer to keep folks safe so they don't stock a battery that's not rated for the high draw and create a fire hazard. 🔥
@@GreyManPrepping but this particular battery has the positive and negative terminal on the same side. I collect torches and I have never found another battery that will work in an olight expect the OEM.
@Studat interesting I've used LG & Samsung button tops with most of my olights as long as the specs lineup. They won't charge via the body of the flashlight, though. I work in a shop that sells lithium batteries and have played around a bit with this option. Again, I do advise against it. I watched a video years ago where a gentleman disassemble olights batteries and compared them to others and showed available options. I was still skeptical, but after trying various options , I found a few that fit the bill. The charging was the only problem I could not resolve as the way olight designs their batteries.

You need a black light for hunting horn worms, on your tomato bushes, at night! Those fat green bastards will glow in the dark! 🐛 Then you can easily remove them, then later use them as fish bait!
Agreed, I use the Olight Arkfeld Pro that has the UV option. Last year we found 2 of them before they did too much damage to our tomatoe & eggplants.
o-light sucks for the money SOFIRN and WURKKOS are way way better and cheaper

@PattiPoss I appreciate that, The Wurkkos I have coming up is pretty nifty, the Sofrin I'm going to review. I'm going to do a comparison review between it and the olight Marauder 2. The sofrin is only about $75, so it's a steal with so much power vs. $330 with similar specs 😁👍
