- Thanks for watching everyone! In this video I cover the features of the Canik SFx Rival 9mm gun that is a competition out-of-the-box gun. I still can't believe that the gun and everything that comes with it was only $630.00!
This would be a great gun that a new competition shooter could easily grow into and be able to use it in several divisions of USPSA.
Thanks for the great review. I just picked up my new Canik SFX and mounted a red dot optic. I'm ready for the next club match. Super value, awesome trigger, great ergonomics.
Thanks for watching Don! Yes, that is a great handgun. I'll be using it this Saturday at my first local club shoot of the year with a Trijicon 5 MOA SRO on it.
And where did u order the red dot attachment from I have the same gun in this video
@@patrickbowers8359 Thanks for watching! What did you mean by the red dot attachment? If you mean the plate, it comes with one that is compatible with the Trijicon SRO, which is the one I have mounted. I used the 'R02' plate from the kit to attach my optic. I also did a video on how to do that: ua-cam.com/video/0tRNOWqeLsk/v-deo.html
Let me know if that's not what you're talking about.
@docgsreloading7985 thank you very much again this is a great gun although I live in Philadelphia I have a license to conceal carry
@@patrickbowers8359 I live in rural Michigan, and I conceal carry as well--pretty much everywhere I go!
Got mine two months ago. Runs like a raped ape. Trigger is superb. I paid $569 out the door and I couldn’t believe it. Accurate as hell. Love this pistol.
I saw one at Dunham and fell in love with it.
I just bought the same gun its great mine came with 2 18 clip mags alot better then a glock fun fact Turkish army uses this gun 🔫
love your presentation, subbed!
Great review. For the back straps I don’t notice any markings showing what size they are. Did you notice? Thanks
Thanks for watching! I did not see any markings on them either, but you could tell the difference in size when they were on the gun. It comes with the smallest size backstrap installed (at least mine did).
Thanks. I did finally notice the size is marking. Thanks for responding
@@MACKTRUCKHUGE are the back straps marked S,M,L?
I really want one i just have a hard time activating the slide stop. For some reason slide stop seems quite stiff compared to xdms and glocks etc..I used to shoot idpa all over the east coast at high level matches.I always shoot the xdm with a prp trigger which is 2.5lbs. The travel and reset is short, about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch.I really want to try this gun in a match but have a heck of a time dropping the slide. If you have any ideas how to make slide stop function less stiff ket me know.Nice gun!. Great video!.
Thanks for watching! Well, I haven't had any problems with my slide release. I don't know what to recommend other than having a gunsmith look at it. Many times I slam in a new mag the slide goes forward on its own. When it doesn't, it's easy for me to release it with my thumb.
Is the steal one better?
i bought a new Rival and the barrel wiggles. Anyone the same problem?
Nice hand gun…too bad in CANADA hand guns are now for sale or even transfer.
I may have missed it...What is the mag capacity and where is it made? Thanks
18 rounds and Georgia, VT. Company is out of Turkey.
@@docgsreloading7985 great gun
Meant to ask if there is a laser sight for this make and model
What do you mean my laser-like one that would fit on the picatinny rail under the front of the barrel? For that you can use any manufacturer you like. I don’t believe that there is a grip version like a Crimson Trace (CT)-but don’t quote me on that. You’d have to check out the CT website.
