Love my 940 so much. first thing I did was swap the safety for an S&J oversized safety and changed the spring and follower so smooth quad loading. Its awesome
Hey Doc G, I recently picked up an a300 patrol and was wondering if you could do a how to install for the limbsaver. I’m unsure whether what parts to remove and keep and what screws I should use. I’m thinking I’d just taking the old rubber pad off and reusing the screws that already inside but I’m unsure.
Thanks for watching! Well, I don't think a video will help as much as if I just tell you. It's about twice as thick as the stock pad, so you may have to switch out the spacer. I had to switch out the thick spacer for the thin one because of the thickness of the LimbSaver so I maintained the same length of pull. I used the same screws that were in there since I didn't change the length from where I had it. All you need to be aware of is how the LimbSaver changes the length of pull. Beretta gives you longer and shorter screws depending on what spacers you're using (check out pages 49 and 50 in the manual since that tells you which size Phillips screwdriver you need, etc.). I hope that helps!
Hate mine, does not feed for beans. Multiple problems out of the box and Mossberg took months to send the parts to attempt to fix it. Their customer service rep told me These won't feed anything under 2000fps.
@@ExcitedSolarSystem-jr2rn who are you calling dummy? I told the dude at Mossberg he was full of it and he kept repeating the 2000FPS shells only. I told him his own stock photo shows the guy using low base brass. He kept repeating 2000fps. Mossberg sucks. BTW, replaced the spring they sent me a new barrel replaced the follower and a few other parts, same results, not functioning correctly
@@ASAP2525 Not a typo, this was phone communications and when I told him there is no 2000FPS on the shelf here he said like 4 or more times to me. This was Mossbergs customer service phone line
Thanks for watching! Well, you better get used to it--just about all guns are coming in those type of plain cardboard boxes now. I'm sure it cuts down costs. At least they give you a full 2-color manual!

the price
As soon as i saw the box it was off to a rocky start. That is a $1000 shot gun. With a flimsy ass box like that 🤦🏻♂️
