Taylor stuff is great. Another really nice upgrade on these pistols is the TP/Mete spring kit from Sprinco. like 20 bucks and drops the trigger pull weight by a pound really easy install and totally worth it.
Cool upgrades! I put the flat faced Canik USA aluminum trigger on my Mete SFX for $55, and it’s basically the exact same trigger as the Rival. The holosun 408k as well after filing down one of the optics plates. I’m enjoying it, and it feels like cheating when target shooting haha
@leek8462 I do think the Pro is a very cool gun. I like the irons on that one, but I don’t like the big racing mag releases. I love my SFX, and the color is pretty sexy too lol. Can’t go wrong with either.
Very nice professional video. I love this gun. I got one myself not too long ago. If you get a Comp for it, your idea to add the weight to the back of the gun definitely makes it worth it as the Comp adds some weight to the front of the gun so adding your ideas gives it a good balance. Would love to see a video on how you changed the trigger. I hear it’s not easy
Thank you. It's really not hard to install the trigger, just need to take your time and follow the directions. Like I said in the vid, I don't like showing trigger jobs because of the potential liability if someone screws one up.
@arnsnicklefritz9634 probly the mecanik m03. It's made By canik and is an SRO style red-dot. Huge viewing window makes transitions and follow up shots so much easier. Plus they're specifically made for canik by canik.
Nice job with this review. I have 2 Caniks and added optics to both. I added the Taylor Freelance kit to my Combat Elite and their extended mag release, an ARC comp and (here's a surprise) Tandem Kross' gas pedal. TK makes this for the Taurus TX22 but they fit on the Pic rail on my 9mm's. I bought a 2nd one for my Tisas PX-9. The Canik triggers are so good out of the case, but I'll look into the Freedom Smith trigger. Thanks again.
I have the FS trigger and the Canik flat faced trigger. I went with the Canik because they made the safety bar the entire width of the trigger and put a mild texture on it. It's literally perfect. The FS has that god forsaken irritating safety bar in the middle. 15 minute install for $60.
I just got a Canik Rival for my first pistol, it was hard to find another gun in that price range that was better. I am looking to get a different barrel cuz I want a compensator or suppressor and a brass plate. I'm also looking for a 2nd gun that's a little smaller to carry
I love my Caniks!! I put speed sights on two of them. Diamonds instead of dots. The front sight diamond is HUGE!! They work great for me. My old eyes at 10 yards keep a dime sized group
Really enjoyed the contents of your review, mainly the red dot. I basically use the Swampfox, definitely will be looking into that at the price. Not sure about the timing, but great mechanics on the draw 👍
Thanks glad you enjoyed it.. I just started practicing for carry optics in steel challenge a month ago, so the draw drill is a work in progress. 22lr and pcc I was shooting starts from low ready.
I hate making shooting technique comments, but your support hand is dang near getting flagged. Your support hand should go to your mid section as fast as you can when you draw your gun. You will be faster and safer.
Talon Grips makes a great one that fits these really well. The sandpaper texture is perfect IMO. It's really the only issue I have with a Mete SFX, the overall texturing on the grip isn't as nice as anything else I shoot.
They are reloads, the higher weight bullet allows for more back pressure letting you use less powder at a slower fps. It gives more of a push than a muzzle raising quick snap that you get with lighter bullets.
US state department won't permit Tsylor Freelance to send this brass kit to Europe but, has no problem sending billions of dollars worth of military weapobs to Ukraine which are indiscriminately handed out to any criminal on the streets.. stupid is as stupid does.
Canik's blow out the competition.
New Canik owner as of today. Always a Springfield/SIG guy. Got an SFX and it shoots like sex out of the box. Very happy.
Get an align thumb rest an will be even better
Try the TTI combat
Just bought my third Canik today. TTI Combat.
Gear video, brother! Thank you for sharing. Cheers!
I highly recommend getting the 45 Blast Compensator for the SFX it will help a bunch with the muzzle rise aswell

I have that. Works great.

I have a vortex on my sfx ,and I shoot better with the tac irons
Appreciate the gun wisdom OG I learned some new that lack of recoil is crazy !!
The stock Rival trigger shoes is aluminum but it does have a lot of take up.
Bought the sfx tp9 few months ago and I fell in love with the it after the first shot. Rival S chrome on order
Taylor Freelance makes some good stuff. I love my SFX. Great video. Thank you.

Trigger was super easy imo
I put the same trigger in my Canik Mete SFX and it is MONEY! Great upgrades for sure.
I like the tf mag well, +9 base pads, and sro. Great piece.
What's sro? plz

I'm going to check out the gas pedal....I wasn't sure about the freedomsmith trigger, but it does make a very noticeable difference.
I love my TP9 SFX!! my only upgrade was speedsights. Diamonds are a pewsters best friend.

Nice and clear review thank you for your time
Thank you, glad you liked it
Nice upgrades. I do like my CANIKS. 😀😀
Just got the dark bomber not gonna lie I’m liking it better then my Glocks

Just picked a canik tp9sfx up today already had a light and a viper reddot
So adding a brass mag well and blackstrap disqualifies you for IDPA and carry optics division for USPA.
I did all the uspsa parts build
507comp on the list
This video came to me at the right moment.
best handgun look in the market... good content creator ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank You!
I will make same this CANIK soon انشاءاللہ
I can show you latter.

Agreed, I've been working on keeping it lower at the draw.
Just picked on me up for the USPS a competition and I'm excited to break it in
Just bought my tp9sfx this past weekend. If anyone is running a surefire x300, lmk what light bearing holster you use
Do u have a link for the holosun?
I like your upgrades but do you have links to those upgrades
Taylor Freelance is only available from them as far as I know. The holosun 407 has been discontinued, Freedomsmith.com for the Trigger.
Talon Grips makes a great one that fits these really well. The sandpaper texture is perfect IMO. It's really the only issue I have with a Mete SFX, the overall texturing on the grip isn't as nice as anything else I shoot.
Do you have a link for the Holosun?
Que arma es la marca y cuántas libras tiene ese resorte
What number plate that came in the box works with Holosun? I just picked the same pistol up.
# 2 plate
i'm confused. you said you're using 147s for lower recoil? normally that isn't how that works. maybe they made those specifically as 9mm minor?
They are reloads, the higher weight bullet allows for more back pressure letting you use less powder at a slower fps. It gives more of a push than a muzzle raising quick snap that you get with lighter bullets.
What's the name of this red dot ???
Holosun 407
Will these upgrades work with the rival as well ?
I'm not sure...the holosun will, but the trigger and Taylor stuff you'd have to check with the manufacturer.
Mind putting links for these?
Holosuns are available from different sources, shop around for the best price. Freedomsmith, and Taylor Freelance I got right from their sites.
@@pewsandbrews Thanks!
Couldn't a weight be epoxies to bottom of mag???
Anythings possible....not sure how it would hold up to the recoil.
Which FS trigger did you go with for your SFX?
Zombie pro
Hell I'll spend 180 dollars on bubble gum a month
Which 407?
Whichever one suits your shooting and mount set up. The functions are all the same. Do a little research and see which one will work best for you.
Virtually no muzzle flip
Freedomsmith says the trigger isn’t for rival? What gives?
Couldn’t you have just saved cash and got the sfx rival?
The Rival is nice, but it doesn't have the heavyweight kit or the optic included, till you add those I'd have more in the Rival than in this.
@@pewsandbrews my Rival has the optic included.
@@wyesolsirius4947 What kind of optic? The 3moa Mecanik I assume? What was the cost with the optic? I've seen as high as $775 with the optic included.
I did this to all my Canik’s
This is obsolete with the new Canik TTI combat lol
US state department won't permit Tsylor Freelance to send this brass kit to Europe but, has no problem sending billions of dollars worth of military weapobs to Ukraine which are indiscriminately handed out to any criminal on the streets.. stupid is as stupid does.
I am the kind of person that wants to get to point, not all the extra bla bla!!
So you liked it or not?
50,000 hours=5 years, 8 months 12 days approximately.
I thought i heard a dog.. please don't say that you took the dog to the range..
She's my hunting dog, she goes to the range with me all the time. What's wrong with that?
