Haven’t even watched the video yet. But really happy that you are back again. Saw the high stakes coinpoker livestreams but ultimately enjoyed these vids more!
I am intrigued by your shot taking, to make "simple" content, I would love to hear some story telling on how you prepped, what where those nuances moving up to the endboss stakes and how you handled the "feilure". Good to have you back and gl in your next few weeks.
Adding a comment since Keven is curious about his audience's stake (at 16:00). For live, I play 2/3 $500 cap, occasionally shot-take 2/5/10 $1000 cap. Also play $100-$500 buy in tournaments when its a series event. For online its just NL25/NL50 regular and zone tables on Ignition, and some soft online NL100 home games on WPK.
I play NL20 on Ipoker, hopefully moving to NL50 in a few months... Really enjoy your content and have learned so much watching you play and listening to your thought process. GL on your next nosebleed grinds 🧿

50/100nl but looking to take shots at 200/500nl. Mainly play on smaller site so 100nl is usually the biggest games that run. Would be interested in seeing some full length videos of you playing in the nosebleeds. Great to see you back!

Do you actually pay more rake per hand playing zone vs regular tables? I never really understood when people suggest playing reg vs zone due to rake…I understand the argument that there are prolly less fish, thus variance will be higher due to lower win rates as a reason against zone, but not rake alone.
Hey, what sites you play 10kNL and 20kNL on? And what are some good sites to play low to mid stakes on with reg tables? I play GGpoker and PokerStars but would like to move to sites with less rake.
On one hand you say the pool is really bad/weak. But then you also said you shouldn't be grinding these games for money? I'm confused, is it because the rake is just too high to profit enough?
You write down your important hands, think about why you chose the decisions you did and why your opponent chose their decisions, and you try to get better at poker
Both good advices from xpgamingpro and passiongaming. in low stakes live the rake is exorbitant, you probably should have a preflop range that is insanely tight unless the table is weak and folds to consistent pressure. Search preflop ranges for '1c/2c online' and use that as your opening range. no limping and no smooth calling until you build up a lot of experience. You really got two types of games at ultra low stakes. The psycho crap-shoots where you play super tight and wait for nuts. And the blood-from a stone games full of leather ass old men where you can use micro-pressure to win small pots. Your win rate is going to be small regardless. If you're playing a 1/2 game with $15 cap, if table averages 20 capped hands per hour that's 1.5 stacks the house wins that no player has a shot at. You need 2 whales who reload a full stack every hour to have a positive winrate.
