Jack-King off. Lol
Mhh o.k i lost most Chips with 2 pair i think Yesterday vs 3xQ nearly everytime when i think he had no 3x he had it or also 2 pair comes very often by straight flush board after River that makes it so hard to win.
What are you playing in a call center? typing a dissertation? What's with all the typing?
@@kylec.5476 yes
It's crazy how you can just casually laugh off absolutely vile suckouts for massive pots vs maniacs. I'd be fucking livid!
I really enjoy ur thinking process. Grinding at nl25 currently. Hoping to work with u someday.
Rumscotch abusing his opponents to tilt them but rly he keeps them entertained and passive xD
When you hire an editor, have them condense this content into a video that contains all hands you played. Or any hands you even thought about calling preflop.
Thanks for the great stream!
was betting small on J hi board a mistake by him?
Still censoring the names😭😭😭 bro that's high stakes we know the players😂
@@gesus.christ99 sometimes people get weird if you suggest they’ve made a mistake
If he bets river 1/2-2/3 pot representing an overpair what do you think about x/jamming line.. what other bluffs would we have for this line and it looks pretty strong no?
Wtf are you talking about😂😂 never comment on a UA-cam poker video again haha this guy! Check jamming haha!!!
@@albertovelazquez9329 I agree that check-jamming probably isn't the right play with 88 here, but this is still a pretty stupid reply.

Awful river call from villain but nice play
I was thinking maybe that river isn't as benign as you stated. You mention his bluffs at this point are K high, Q high, J high, and a lot of those combos will contain a 10, which can definitely go for value targeting hero's 8's and pocket 99. A8 is probably still good enough to call as played but I don't think it's a complete slam dunk
Agree
Would u have called a huge c/r on the river??
@@PandaPower511 would need a club to consider
@@makepokersimpleonly way the aj coulda won is by c/r river.. how often do you see people doing this as a bluff at the higher stakes? Could be a money printing line..

Is Sam a reg? Was kinda weirded out seeing him raise 3x oop.
Tens lol
Hands completing a queen pair after bluffing in position for 2 streets will just check and take the showdown value against a potential top pair -- no point in betting your pair of queens into a potential Kx that you have. I think as played, he's repping a very narrow range hands: random nut straight combos that got there on the river AJ or J9 of hearts (very bad idea to float bluff a gutshot when there's a flush draw unless you have that flush draw yourself), or combos that were just dominating you from the flop, like random 88 1010 and K10 K8. You block a jack, making those straight combos less likely, and he probably would've check raised 2 pair or set on a flop as wet as that, so as played, his hand really doesn't tell a convincing story at all.
Villain can’t be value betting a good king or two pair ?
@@evanrichter3893 As I mentioned, they would've checked raised on the flop for protection on a board as wet as that containing straight + flush draws
@@williamsun8984 villains in position so they can’t check raise flop. They could absolutely call flop bet turn and river w strong kx/2 pair imo
@@evanrichter3893 My bad, not check-raise, just raise the c-bet, but the point still stands
@@williamsun8984 I’m pretty unstudied at bvb. So that might be true. I would be surprised tho if all combos of kx raise flop. The calling range would be pretty weak then.
in a sim JTo mixes b33 20% and check 80%. surprised that it isn't almost always betting JTo, but i guess it likes it as a hand to protect our checking ranges. btw i think it's important because this player (mario mosbock) is a solid reg who can exploit you if your flop checking range is too capped
why can’t we x/r river?
@@Ammo1x don’t rly tell a consistent story
@@makepokersimpleOn this channel you often emphasize protecting your turn x range after a cbet and having strong hands in there. Why not capitalize on it?
@@wil1451 because most strong hands are check raising turn not check calling. Protecting your checking range doesn’t mean check calling nutted hands. That being said yes if u can have AJ in your range a raise is valid.
@@makepokersimpleI thought KK might be trapped here at some frequency but maybe not. Even if that isn’t the case, we still have AJ, J9,QQ. What really tips the scales though is if we have KQ in this line. Might be a little too thin in a traditional 100BB BvB spot but there’s an ante and you started the hand a little under 100BB eff. I might be wrong about this being a potential jam, but if it is then you should have some more bluff jams like JT here
You have like one combo of AJ, easy to overbluff this actually, would prefer to jam JJ which is in our range instead of JT. Better to double block the nuts
For villains hands that pair on the river, won’t he just check those for SDV(or size down like block sizing)? So you don’t need to worry about that part of his range when facing a big bet. Also AJ and J9s are likely going to 3bet pre BVB right
@@theinfernoliger yes but a lot of his potential bluff pair up so now they won’t be bluffing
Nice play. So what's the argument for not betting turn ? You think no jack or king pair calls after a check through on flop?
@@amazinc754 you can bet the turn I’m just saying it’s not a slam dunk bet.
Is range betting this flop ok?
Vs players who are overfolding and/or under checkraising the flop.
@@sergiocarrasco9762 Small blind calling range is quite weak though right? Hard to have a sufficiently wide check-raising range there
@@alephnull4044not exactly sure. There is also leading going on from sb CC-ers that I’ve seen, perhaps not on AKx though and maybe not vs EP, but mentioning it fwiw.
@@alephnull4044in theory you should not be calling very much from the small blind so his small blind calling range is actually decently strong
@@Joe-yc3kn Maybe, but it’s still missing all the nutted hands

Great line, with others AK combos I'd be more inclined to check but with this one I'd prefer to bet/call with the redraw to the nut flush. In todays games how many buyins do you recommend considering good table selection?
I actually think this combo is more inclined to check back. When you get xraised, this AK combo gets denied a significant amount of equity. Where as AK no flush draw is dead against sets and straights.
if there were a combo we want to bet pure its the one with the nut flush draw,. these days if u have 20-30 buyins u should be good to take a shot
@@makepokersimple Thanks, I already reach NL100 by myself and I'm thinking about investing what would be a priority for you GTOw or MDA for games vs recs?
I like checking back sometimes in these lines at a decent clip too so on flush completing rivers I know I can have flushes
Nice line 👍

3:13:35 with the AK, I'm curious if you're selective with the combos you call with in spots like that. Having the Ah is probably bad because you don't block any of his A4s or A2s that hit a boat (seems like he's wild enough to call those hands preflop). That being said, sam seems like an interesting player calling a cold 4! with 73, so if you have a read that he's overbluffing it makes perfect sense to call with a lot of hands lol
@@TheRambam blockers are only relevant when the spot is extremely close, and are used as a tiebreaker

I think checking here is the right move multiway u can't be hung up on the way the board runs out when u can't control it , if u never check top set here u never have any checks that are not nutted so this is perfect to check multiway rather then HU , wp ul .
