I never saw a problem with Starkiller pulling down the Star Destroyer. If the Force is truly an energy field that CREATES and BINDS everything in the galaxy, and Force Users have the ability to wield this power and manipulate it, it's completely possible for someone to be powerful enough to do something like that. Someone could probably be powerful enough to knock planets out of orbit, or create a blackhole... I mean, it's science FICTION where people basically have super powers. Why is it so hard to believe that this guy can bring down a star destroyer? Remember what Yoda said? "Size matters not."
Nowadays we have untrained girls who use the Force without even knowing what it is and duel like fully trained Jedi Knights. At least Starkiller trained for decades under Vader's wing.
ya but honestly playing as yet another clone struggling with yet the same memories does not sound fun...the gameplay is wicked fun but i think they shot themselves in the foot with the story progression of that series. Unless they took the dark ending as canon and have you play the game as a full sith with no light side options I do not see where they could have gone with number 3
guitarman0365 it would be the same clone, unless they decided to make a game based off the bad ending, which doesn’t make much sense considering that the perfected clone already had a DLC mission
+The Game Show I've have the Sith Edition of the first one. While it does have flaws (camera, QTEs, some bosses), it's a fun game. I have only played the demo of the second one, but it seemed cool. I've watched cut scenes from it and would have liked to see how the third one would have gone, since they have Vader.
I recently re-played both after getting them for a steal in the SW Humble Bundle. 100% agreed about QTEs. I remarked at the time that they're not cool and they've held up even worse. BUT I still love the game. There should be more third-person lightsaber games. Jedi Knight and Force Unleashed is not enough!
The Game Show I would have wanted the Dark Forces game but it's only available to US. Quite unfair, IMO. You just gotta love it when you finally beat Kazdan Paratus, fail the QTE and get your ass handed. I'm still waiting for Disney to allow making of a good Star Wars game for public. Battlefront is a big middle finger for everyone aware of the originals and I don't care about mobile games. Unfortunately Disney isn't known from making good games...
+Ihavethetouch Where are you based? I'm in the UK and got DF and DF2 in my bundle. There's a lot of consternation around Battlefront; objectively it seems to be a good game, it's just not the experience that a lot of gamers were hoping for. Especially after the story mode in Battlefront 2 being so good.
TFU was never G-canon. Despite this, Disney are quite keen about bringing "non-canon" stories (like the Thrawn trilogy) back into the official timeline. So only time will tell.
The Game Show Well I think George said that he didn't like most of the EU stories but didn't disaprove them at all. I personally dislike Dinsey bringing characters back to canon. I don't want their stories to be retold in a completly new one. Feels like they have zero ideas to create more content to the EU. I think Disney just killed any possibility left for TFU coming back to canon for now we have STARKILLER BASE, Rebels storyline and Jyn's father name revealed: Galen.
AdvancedMotions My only problem with 2 was that there was one grapple for every enemy so it got boring really quick. I liked all the different cool looking moves you could do in the original. Besides that I like 2.
Starkiller the one who met both sides of the force, one who really grasped the unlimited power of the force, one who may be able to understand the source of the force, one that perhaps some day go beyond both sides to become a true master of the force..one who bends matter, space and time........................I'd love to see that in an open world game such as The Force Unleashed, again; with amazing features, story plot, outstanding worlds, ships that can be controlled by your character in order to mover from one stellar system to another, fantastic light saber combos, amazing combo system, that once again gives you the chance to use your enviroment as another weapon, enemies that defy your skills, a game that could enable the player to explore the unlimited power of the force even further!!!! By the way I'd like to congratulate Lucas Arts for making this masterpiece named The Force Unleashed, even the name is so amazing! I really love the idea that someone in the Star Wars universe once thought about a game in which the main character would go so beyond by understanding perhaps both sides of the force to reach unlimited wisdom from the source of that magic called the force.
Glad you do Bob Bobby! Hoping a thoudsand more think the way we do, so perhaps our wish of having a new The Force Unleashed may be heard!! Just the way we expect!
I don't know about all the specifics but they are making an open world game right now I think. Third person action as well. I think that one is being made by Motive under EA. Right now we have Battlefront 2, the Motive open world game (which had footage of motion capture actors using lightsabers) and Visceral Game (Dead Space creators) are making something as well. Maybe the open world game will be a spiritual successor to TFU. I'm just happy we get something playable that's Jedi focused again. I am not one of the fan that prefers Rebels vs. Empire/Smuggler stuff more that the Jedi vs. Sith aspect of Star Wars.
Even if Disney caved due to popular demand, it'd be shitty. Like said in the video, there's a large creative hole in the development team. I'd rather not have a TFU3 at all if it's just going to be a shitty cashgrab like the new Battlefront
I like batman I think your just hating cause I think they NEED to come to their senses and make a 3RD TFU game for PS4 and XBOX ONE!!! I think it could be tight to see those kinda graphics of STARKILLER and the others!
I absolutely loved TFU1, I didn't like TFU2 because of the story. I just really couldn't get behind it. The only thing that looked appealing was a graphical update. That said, I would have been totally down for a third instalment. The first game was amazing and I'll always remember it. Also, Sam Witwer was an amazing actor.
I like batman i always liked the idea that the starkiller in tfu2 wasn't actually a clone, it was just a lie fabricated by vader. They do mention it in the game and it would have been an interesting thing to explore if tfu3 was made. The dark side ending kind of shits on that theory but as the dark side ending was never considered canon, I don't know if the dark clone actually exists cause if you choose light side he is nowhere to be seen.
connorisnotbright I thought it was implied at the end that the real Starkiller was alive somewhere in the galaxy. It seemed like that would lead into a possible search for him or something. I think a sub plot could have revolved around clone Starkiller having conflicting feelings with finding the original as well.
No matter what. The first time I played the part of the game where you pulled down the Star Destroyer from the sky I was just in complete shock from how awesome it was! I truly felt like a Fucking badass
Love them both but My biggest problem with the second game is The cliffhanger ending cut scene where Boba fett follows you to where your taking captured Vader
whitepaws60 The third game was supposed to have Vader and Starkiller work together so Boba Fett probably would have helped Vader get free from rebel captivity.
SuperCorndog12 Still it's something that should of been in the second game Just look at how that scene closes it's exactly like every other mission ending cutscene with nothing to indicate the end of the game... then credits. It feels like they just didn't add the rest of the game...
The Force Unleashed was one of the best hack n slash video game series out there, a few weeks I was shocked to find a child of about 7 thinking a copy of the game was The Force Awakens video game, it terrified me, it made me feel old and I am only nearly 19 so yeah, pretty terrifying. It just means that this series needs to be made canon and get some sort of new game or reboot of the series.
I'm a huge Force Unleashed fan that cosplays as Starkiller from TFU 2 (Tie Flightsuit). The "Game Show," this game had so many great ideas that are now being recycled into the new canon Star Wars Timeline (The Force Awakens, Rogue One, Star Wars Rebels, etc.). Could you make a video of what has been taken: The Starkiller name is now the First Order base, Ahsoka wields dual sabers in reverse like Starkiller TFU2 and was an apprentice of Vader, the name Galen was used for Rogue One's Death Star builder, Rahm Kota the blind Jedi is now Kanan Jarrus. Juno is the Roman equivalent to the Greek name Hera. Captain Juno Eclipse has been recycled into Captain Hera Syndulla. There are so many nods to this beloved game.
Hi Ryan - I actually recognise your name from some of the TFU Facebook groups. Thanks so much for popping in to say hi! I am actually working on a video which talks about Legends video games and where the recent Disneyverse has gotten its ideas from. I'll be certain to think about adding those details in :-) Hey, if you wanted to help us out I'd love it if you could share the vid in a few of your groups.
This was so much better then Rebels....But actually, if you look at TFU, and only look at both Rebels and Star Wars itselfe and doesn't count Comics and stuff as canon, they don't really exclude eachother beside that Starkiller was never mentioned in Rebels...
connorisnotbright I think this is after TFU. TFU I ended with cration of rebel alliance and in TFU II they already had some heavy weaponry, like medical frigate (the one at the end of ep5). Rebels is more likely in between those two.
The first one was a very fun game to play, can't even remember how many times I played it. The second one though wasn't as good, it was too short and the story wasn't simply as good. I would still pay money to play a third one because the second one's ending was such a cliffhanger...
I'm going to have to agree with The Game Show! The Force Unleashed games were huge fun, and I dare say better even than EA's Battlefront. I am seriously disheartened that part 3 never happened. A co-op action adventure starwars game featuring Vader and Starkiller? Could have been the best game ever.
I think starkiller could be made cannon in rebels. Season 2 was really good and season 3 looks to be heading a good direction with grand admiral thrawn being introduced. He might be an inquisitor at first and show exceptional talent. It would be cool if he appeared in rouge one but that's probably impossible... Really I'd just like Galen to be a part of cannon somehow. It'd make me feel mindlessly happy and that's all that matters. Probably won't but it'd be nice
Basil Bonehead A lot of people complain about Starkiller being too op for canon. 1. He is a videogame character for gods sake. He had to be op so he game could be fun. 2. I they added him back to canon It'd still make sense in Star Wars. Just remember what Darth Vader said in Ep IV; "The power to destroy a planet is INSIGNIFICANT compared to the power of the Force". What he basically said is that Force users (Starkiller and a whole bunch of op Jedis and Siths in the SW lore canon and legends) are capable of doing absolutley amazing things. Things that could not be shown properly on movies at the time because of the lack of technology. So Starkiller is not that op as we thought. He is indeed a powerful character but his existence in canon is way possible. 3. Disney is also creating op characters such as Ezra, Kenan, all the Rebels protagonists are a complete freaking gary sue squad. They kick the Impire's and the Inquisitor's asses everytime, they never die despite most of the time they're in huge disavantage in number and firepower, they outrun Darth Vader, and they somehow always get to survive no matter how dangerous their situation was. It's the same with Star Wars TFU. The Rebels series are meant to be child friendly and "funny" so they add op characters that kids will love. The only difference is, Star Wars TFU was a great story. Exciting, dark. (The first one at least was pretty good). Rebels is what it is, a cartoon. Cheesy humour, op characters, ripping off concepts from old videogames and stores, the Impire is just retarded now, you know. Not even Clone Wars was that childish.
ThePleb it would be good to see him after the events of the first game, after the dark side ending where he becomes a sith assassin. Of course you'd need to retconn some stuff but he really could work as the next antagonist alongside Vader, and maybe tone down his powers
One of the many things that brings me back to play these games to this day are the fuck ton of costumes especially because the game has a lot of in game cutcenes so it shows off the costumes as well. While the first game just had the characters frown all the time (if their mouth was showing and not a masked character), the force unleashed 2 had all the facial expressions as well as mouth movements for every costume that has a mouth and what not and it's really impressive especially for non starkiller characters such as Darth Malak or Rahm Kota.
i just played through the first game again this year in the hd console version that i hadn't played yet since i only had the wii version as a kid and remembered how this game was one of my favorites ever, Starkiller will always be one of my favorite characters in the series
Just finished SW Force Unleashed last night for the first time. Great Star Wars game. Now I want to play the DLC story content and move on to Unleashed II. Not too long ago I got both games for PS3 with all dlc content, also for both, at a great price. Must play for any Star Wars fan.
With Lucasfilms hard on for canon material it's very unlikely we'll get to see the 3rd game, i'd love to see the story at least adapted into a legends comic at the very least just so we know how it would have played out.
Commander Shepard And you're totally right. It's a hella fun game with mind blowing graphics for its time, but the story is downright asinine and ruins the point of the first game.
The Game Show I liked it. don't get me wrong. but I liked the first a lot better. thought the story was kinda lame in the second. whereas in the first everything was fresh and believable. I love this video though. and the force unleashed. I hope they decide to make another game with the same game play in the future. would be excellent.
1st was amazing, 2nd was meh, too short but I really hope for a third. They can still give Galen the name StarKiller and have it in Vader's records and Kylo or Snoke found it and went "Starkiller? Ha, I might use that" with today's storytelling and graphics, a third game would be truly amazing and we could really see Starkiller for the Sith/Jedi he is.
The Star Destroyer was already crashing towards the planet. Galen just redirected where it was falling. Which is still impressive, but Yoda, Luke, Mace, and several other powerful force wielders would be able to do the same thing. Just look up what Dorsk-81 did when 3 star destroyers attacked the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin 4.
Too bad they never got to finish the trilogy, TFU2 had a major cliffhanger. "They can't cancel it, it ended in a cliffhanger!" - Sheldon in Big Bang Theory. Ah Sheldon, if only that were true. Maybe you should go with Peter Griffin's idea: "Chris isn't dying, that's just a lie daddy told to save a tv show." It may work for video games too
Joe Nesvick there's nothing really stopping Lucasfilm from making new material for Legends. It's not as if they stray from making non-canon material anyway, as both Lego Force Awakens and Galaxy of Heroes aren't technically canon. So why not a Force Unleashed III? Games are for fun, and nobody will care that it isn't canon. It certainly hasn't dissuaded players from SWTOR or Bioware from adding to it.
I really wish I was able to finish this the first Force Unleashed, but for some reason it refused to play after I got to the section would you grab the Imperial Star Destroyer. after that no matter what copy I played how to get black screen on start up.
Could not agree with you more. A lot of people give these games shit, and a lot of it is justified with the sequel in regards to length , but both remain probably the best hack n slash games I've ever played in terms of sheer gameplay. Plus those DLC missions were dope af.
Maulkiller was a fun concept character that was made into a DLC skin available exclusively at retail preorder. I want to say GameStop but it could be anywhere.
Laughing at the "Outside the universe" line. Serious though. Physics in this game were insane. Fallen order gave me some unleashed vibes but with it being a souls like game I never really felt the same level of power. Shame we never got that third game!
I forgot that the buyout was one of the chief reasons 1313 was canceled, but I didn't know about force unleashed 3 as well. Another reason to hate the disney buyout.
No need for hate - that's the path to the Dark Side. Even if we don't get fantastic Star Wars games in the future, there's some brilliant games already out there for us to enjoy.
Good show! Forgive me for asking, but how did you find this video? We've seen a big spike in popularity for this, has it recently been linked somewhere?
Fun Fact: Galen Marek is only in 4 video games. SoulCaliberIV, StarWars the Force Unleashed, StarWars the Force Unleashed II, and Lego StarWars III the Clone Wars.
+The Game Show dude I know he always brings technicality Intuit like "Revan stronger every one says so" me I'm like BS look at starkiller's moves unbeatable and did Revan ever guide a falling star destroyer and basically stopped I don't think so 🖒
Before the name Starkiller was used in ep7. And even before it was used in the Force Unleashed. It appeared in the first KotOR as a name of mandalorian, who was the final boss of the dueling ring.
I had no concern for the Expanded Universe removed from canon...until that removal included The Force Unleashed, 1313, and many other projects. Talk about a hostile takeover right?
Hey I loved the force unleashed games. Sadly never got to far with 2 but 1 was my first ps3 game ever and the sole reason I wanted one at the time. You could say the force unleashed was what made bug my parent to buy me a ps3. Such a shame about 3. I would've love to see a third game.
Thanks mate, and thanks for popping by. The music is from the Force Unleashed OST. It alternates between the main theme "The Force Unleashed" and "Approaching Felucia". A great OST.
Realy man i enjoyed it, the music was great and captiving. As I sayed earlyer i totally agree with you this is one of the most awesome starwars games ever made cause it was so no brain some times and just unleashe all the power inside that just marked my mind even after playing both of them. You are dinamic and to be honest i didn't got bored throughout the video. So keep it that way, i'm gonna look at your channel and i look foward to see more "real" starwars content (i mean not dat desney fashion even if we can't escape it xD) thumbs up !
Nice vid. I got them in the humble bundle, and I found the first game so repetitive. didn't even bother with the second. I probably would have liked it more at release, when I was a console peasant though.
Repetitive? I've not heard that before, but I can see your point I guess. Repetitively learning sweet new Force powers and chopping people up with sick lightsabre moves.
+The Game Show Don't get me wrong, there was variance in the level design and settings, I just found myself button mashing wave after wave of low level lads, using the same techniques over and over. Didn't think it was a bad game, just not my bag, baby.
Galen Marak, Starkiller will always be my favorite star wars character in my mind. I have the ultimate sith edition, and 2 with the endor DLC even with all of the confusion of the story with the evil ending and all the gameplay problems you couldnt help but love these games because of how fun they were. I believe he's earned his spot in the timeline and so did General Kota. if they even wouldve picked it up and re did the story I think we fans would've been satisfied still as long as 3 was made to conclude it. But noooo Disney had to throw the entire EU out cause they were too lazy to pick out some of the good ones. Original SW Battlefront 1 &2, KOTOR 1 & 2 and the Old Republic honorable mentions
I just hope that someone picks up the 3rd game and gets the voice actors back and have a really good story and fun powers to play with I love the 2 games so much
i think disney bringing sam witwer back to do some voice work is them showing that they arent opposed to the idea. disney isnt so stupid that they would throw all that potential away. i mean seriously, the game already has a strong fanbase and a developed and well rounded story and all they have to do is put together something that would be pennies for them to make and then release it and watch their profits soar. the game may pivot and not have all the elements that were promised before but i bet we will hear some rumblings about this at some point.
Too bad, it's being made and EA got Star Wars game rights for 10 years, it's barely up. EA, well no... But DICE wants the game to be better than the first reboot and DICE are the good guys here, they were only rushed by Electronic Arts to release the game because releasing it alongside episode 7. I don't want the new Battlefront to be cancelled because... It's not being rushed. For 3 and a half years at least... or more. If EA is to publish a game revolving around the new trilogy, they may as well let the movies add new things to the Star Wars universe. Plus think of it like this: As the last SW movie is released for??? An unconfirmed amount of time; the point is that most people will be wanting to see this last movie for (the above) and publishing along side 9 sounds like an EA thing, profits. I am hoping they don't rush DICE again so the game is made into something good. A campaign was planned (EA cut it due to time) Instant action, the real one was planned but cut, flights ready to be booked to photograph landscapes for more maps... CUT! Larger battles and more freedom, CUTTT! I have definately rambled on but dice is good and wants to give the new game what the fans deserve. 1 and a half years doesn't make a good game when most of it is spent planning, THANKS EA!
Awesome Tim! Starkiller is a good character. Shades of Anakin, shades of Luke; he fits the universe well. Sam Witwer is also a solid bloke, really knows his SW and knew the gravity of the role. Top form.
I loved both games, though TFU 1 had a more complex story. The novel for TFU 2 was better than the game storywise, the author expanded on it very well. Also, the comic for TFU 2 was also interesting, looking at the events from Boba Fett's perspective.
The story in TFL, the light side ending , should be canon to the star wars universe. The journey of Starkiller from sith apprentice to Darth fucking Vader, to being cut lose by him to rally and find the empires enemies, and then inadvertently creating the Rebellion that would eventually bring down the empire was amazing to me. I loved it when the game came out and still love it, having just played the game through in the last week. It tied the points of the ending of Revenge of the Sith, to the beginning of A New Hope, is amazing and it felt like to me the story was perfection.
Idk if I just sucked at it, but that part where you pull down the stardestroyer was insanely difficult for me, and ruined the fun of that level. Still I wish there were more Star Wars games like these. I'd love to see one set in the Old Republic era.
You're not alone there. That level should have been the apex of the experience, but it's actually super annoying on high difficulties. The game's bosses were pretty tough, but that level's just not fair.
There's a lot of talk about him turning up in Rebels. It's all unsubstantiated, but I think this would make fans extremely happy. Just like when Delta Squad turned up in Clone Wars.
I (Matty) don't really play new games all that much now. There's so many games I've missed out on over the years so I don't mind looking back a few years. My wallet prefers that too :-)
People complaining about him moving the Star Destroyer don't understand shit. And I love how someone said he had a cheesy name. It's not like most Star Wars characters have really cheesy names!
Imo, TFU I had it's gameplay lags but it was overall, a fun game to kill time with and the story more than made up for it. It was one of the best original Star Wars stories told in video game form and only the Dark Forces and KOTOR games really beat it in that department. TFU II on the other hand, was one of the most half-assed games I've played. It's decent to play for a bit but by the end, I felt little had been accomplished. The story was just there to move the game forward, the combat was just repetitive with the same boss battles and QTEs being recycled throughout and the light/dark side choices at the end all amounted to pressing a button. I definitely hoped that the third game would make up for how disappointing the second game was and hopefully take the story in an interesting direction but sadly, we'll likely never see that materialise.
Why did people hate that Star Destroyer scene? All the complaints I hear are always what make that part so good. Like for instance, people complained that the Star Destroy would try its damnedest to "reset itself" after the Tie fighters would attack. Yeah, no shit, why would the crew just keep it on the same descent into the ground?
The scene there is WAY TO HARD. you have to destroy the ties REALLY fast or the star destroyer will be back to normal in an never ending loop. (on pc, on the wii/ps2 you never had to do that and it was a cutsceen.) That is the only complain I have with the hole series (never played The 2nd one due to being Poorly dumbed-down on wii. but downloading on pc)
+jays gaming idk, I had no trouble with destroying the TIE Fighters, they just fly in a straight line towards you so they were pretty easy to blow up. I'll admit, the first time you play it, it's tough, but it's supposed to be since it's the highlight of Starkiller's force powers.
I didn't have problems when I played it I think what makes players somewhat hate it was the many TIEs you have to take down while taking down the destroyer...
If platinum games had a hand in this like metal gear rising revengence, image how much fun it would be to be given the ability to slice enemies in any direction. also I wish the previous games could have allowed you to use the other unique types of lightsabers.
Replaying the Force Unleashed at the moment, and the problems it had... they really stand out now. I don't know whether the game was intended to have difficulty settings, because anything above normal and the game just doesn't function properly. It becomes a lot more obvious how clunky the controls are, when it takes a good second and a half for Starkiller to go into a block after pulling the trigger. He gets blown across the room at the breeze of a feather, and he'll take damage from anything in the same postcode as him. Nine times out of ten, avoiding damage happens because the engine broke briefly, and not because of anything the player managed to do. This is made even worse when fighting any enemy that has force powers, because only the most powerful attacks will stagger them. Given that Starkiller gets floored at a mere dirty look, it means having a proper lightsaber battle with the bosses and mini-bosses is impossible, because they can and will interrupt all of your attacks by just attacking through them. Any attack that DOES land, regardless of what the enemy was doing, will only rarely do any damage because the enemies posses an ability that Starkiller does not: They can cancel their attacks, and block immediately. So maybe try the force? Well, their auto block extends to their force shields as well apparently. Each boss is different in this regard, but they all have exactly one force power that they will struggle to block more than others. Though when I say struggle, I mean they just occasionally don't immediately block. Also, there are a couple levels, particularly the last level, where getting knocked down will send you sliding across the room for a good 10-15 seconds before you come to a stop, which then takes a further 3-4 seconds to recover from and gain control back. During this time, the only thing that stops you from getting killed is that MAYBE the enemies will decide not to shoot you. If the Purge troopers are around though, then the moment you get knocked down you're already dead... you just haven't been killed yet. I've only being playing on the higher difficulty, so I don't know if this is how the game functions at the lower difficulties, but it really just seems like they made the game for normal difficulty and then added the higher difficulties without playtesting them to see if it actually worked.
I don't care if the expanded universe was rendered non-canon, these games fit in so well and are capable of being real without disturbing the now "new" canon. These two awesome games will always be canon to me, and if a 3rd one came out I'd be one happy camper.
I agree wholeheartedly. Sure Starkiller was super OP, but the games were genuinely entertaining. Certainly more than about a dozen EU novels. George himself put it best when he said that your own Star Wars canon is the most important one; choose which bits you like the most and enjoy your own special Star Wars Universe.

+Deon Datu Yeah, amazing lol
Nowadays we have untrained girls who use the Force without even knowing what it is and duel like fully trained Jedi Knights. At least Starkiller trained for decades under Vader's wing.
Considering force unleashed 2 ended with a cliff hanger, cancelling force unleashed 3 was uncool
ya but honestly playing as yet another clone struggling with yet the same memories does not sound fun...the gameplay is wicked fun but i think they shot themselves in the foot with the story progression of that series. Unless they took the dark ending as canon and have you play the game as a full sith with no light side options I do not see where they could have gone with number 3
guitarman0365 What do you mean?
guitarman0365 Yet another clone? He didn't die.
guitarman0365 it would be the same clone, unless they decided to make a game based off the bad ending, which doesn’t make much sense considering that the perfected clone already had a DLC mission
Ya a clone going up against a brain washed original would be sick
It's actually really sad that they will not make a 3rd the force unleashed was my first proper Star Wars game R.I.P 🙏🏻
loved force unleashed. its like the missing chapter for me
I'm just butthurt because there's a cliffhanger in 2 and we'll never get an answer to it.
tekstyles the missing chapters between 3-4 are rebels and rogue one
and this
tekstyles the first one was considered canonical to the story but Disney decided to erase it along with other published books and comics.
@@easternlighthouse5741 yea, disney sucks ass
I loved The Force Unleashed games! Loads of fun, cool story and a fitting entry into the Star Wars Universe. What do you think, dudes?
+Ihavethetouch playing as starkiller and vader side by side,, what a wicked idea
I pray every night that Disney picks the force unleashed series back up
Pray all you want. The Force Unleashed is now non-canon so Disney won't touch it. You'll get more original stuff though.

Ben Norwood me too, friend. Me too
The force unleashed series is amazing
Exotic Tab Hey dude
Blake Beddow ok weird
***** I agree that was weird
Unleashed was a better story but 2 was so much better gameplay wise
I agree
AdvancedMotions
My only problem with 2 was that there was one grapple for every enemy so it got boring really quick. I liked all the different cool looking moves you could do in the original.
Besides that I like 2.
AdvancedMotions Really? I didn't like the gameplay due to its lack of veriety.
Noah Cg3 yeah u should've been more clear, i meant controlling him and the moves felt soo much better than 1
I dissagree. The first game had more variety. Mainly from having more different types of enemies.
Wishing we had a force unleashed 3 and remakes of the first 2
The best part of the Force Unleashed is the first level
Darth Molalikith haha, that's so true tho
Me: I am DARTH VADER
The Force Unleashed.... Ever wonder what it would be like if Eminem was a force user?
*desperately trying to think of a enimem lyric/starkiller pun*....
The Game Show I'm Starkiller the real Starkiller?
The Game Show snap the back of a stromtrooper whoop there go’s gravity
I dont think I look like Eminem.
dimitri degraeve Palpatine would be d e a d
Viktor D' Lucerna oh my god, I was thinking the exact same thinggg!
Glad you do Bob Bobby! Hoping a thoudsand more think the way we do, so perhaps our wish of having a new The Force Unleashed may be heard!! Just the way we expect!
Viktor D' Lucerna most definitely agree with you.
Cheersssss, mate!! We are not the only ones!!! Hopefully!!!!
Sith aspect of Star Wars.
we will probably get one, if Disney sees that we want it, guess what they see? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Fanservice = MORE MONEY, DISNEY!!!
Yeah, fanservice, to the cunts who hated everything that wasn't the Original Trilogy...
If you're talking about TFU3 then yeah I agree!
I like batman tbh that sounds pretty awesome too, if they went down that route with the story I definitely wouldn't have minded.
connorisnotbright Just my thoughts on the matter, a shame we'll probably never see TFU3 come to fruition. It would have been great.
I like batman It was a continuation of the same story.
May the Force be with you Force Unleashed series. You will be missed by millions :(
No matter what. The first time I played the part of the game where you pulled down the Star Destroyer from the sky I was just in complete shock from how awesome it was! I truly felt like a Fucking badass
Yes! That's exactly how you're supposed to feel. :-D
TheFallofTheEleventh Yes it was
This was the first star wars game I played. No regrets
The first game is fantastic and the second was good, but was very short. But I'd really like it if a third game was made.
It feels like they just didn't add the rest of the game...
whitepaws60 Exactly. I made it to that point and I'm like "It's over?".
I loved everything in the TFU. Everything
Were it not for this game and story, I would not be a fan of Star Wars today.
Let the haters hate.
Thanks Kris. If you feel old at 19, then it only gets better from now on. Thanks for commenting, great to meet new SW fans :-)
I got mad when I found out lucasarts was closed down because I really wanted a force unleashed 3
˝You're coming with me Paul!˝ 04:28
"What the shit Jerry i'm trying to kill this guy!"
Zomcon Gaming HEEEELLPPP, HUUUEELPPP!!! BRLRLRLRRRR (gets lightsabered)
You got it. I'll share this video with The Force Unleashed Cosplay FB. It's apropos to our fandom.
This was so much better then Rebels....But actually, if you look at TFU, and only look at both Rebels and Star Wars itselfe and doesn't count Comics and stuff as canon, they don't really exclude eachother beside that Starkiller was never mentioned in Rebels...
Why are you comparing Rebels to The Force Unleashed, the plot isn't even similar in any way
Soloboi Lol do you even red the comment ?
YET! :D
Kampf Kartoffel also I think where rebels is at right now is before when tfu was set, so at this point you could get away with it.
connorisnotbright I think this is after TFU.
Yes, yes and yes.
ThePleb his power would have to be nerfed and not canon breaking
ThePleb I believe they said before that he was supposed to be in rebels but as an inquisitor
Star Wars the classic battlefront 1&2 and the force unleashed 1&2 are my favorite Star Wars video games 🎮
Battlefront II is SUCH a good game. Goes without saying that I like TFU. Thanks for commenting mate x
The Game Show no
Problem
I love this game a lot and just enjoy killing storm troopers and using force lighting!
Nicholas Langley Now imagine the Force Unleashed 3 on the PS4!!!! I wish!!!
Pedro Granja dude I would so enjoy that! Who could pick it up and give it an excellent story and great game play
Someone should start a petition to have the force unleashed canon. And if not, then have Galen Marek a canon character.
jrny20 The second one can't really be canon
Yeah, I know. Still, I would like a third game, for some closure to the series at least.
Some creative writing in this video
Add this to the list of things Disney ruined
It still feels weird to think LucasArts is gone.... :( so much joy they gave us. Now it's in the hands of EA... How worst could it get 😐
The dark times are over
i just played through the first game again this year in the hd console version that i hadn't played yet since i only had the wii version as a kid and remembered how this game was one of my favorites ever, Starkiller will always be one of my favorite characters in the series
Starkiller army never die
Just finished SW Force Unleashed last night for the first time. Great Star Wars game. Now I want to play the DLC story content and move on to Unleashed II. Not too long ago I got both games for PS3 with all dlc content, also for both, at a great price. Must play for any Star Wars fan.
With Lucasfilms hard on for canon material it's very unlikely we'll get to see the 3rd game, i'd love to see the story at least adapted into a legends comic at the very least just so we know how it would have played out.
I loved the first one, but I never got the second. It was too short, and its story seemed too contrived.
As much as the second one is fun, You're not missing anything.
Rest easy :)
Commander Shepard And you're totally right. It's a hella fun game with mind blowing graphics for its time, but the story is downright asinine and ruins the point of the first game.
Commander Shepard the first one was epic but the second one was a lame repetitive nightmare where you just murder hundreds of clones.
still my favorite star wars game of all time. the first one where you could play as Darth Vader was my absolute fave. you just can't beat it.
And your thoughts on the second game? Seems to be a 50/50 split in these comments!
Big up the Jedi Academy Trilogy!
John Wells and didn't Yoda say that size doesn't matter?
Too bad they never got to finish the trilogy, TFU2 had a major cliffhanger.
"They can't cancel it, it ended in a cliffhanger!" - Sheldon in Big Bang Theory. Ah Sheldon, if only that were true. Maybe you should go with Peter Griffin's idea: "Chris isn't dying, that's just a lie daddy told to save a tv show." It may work for video games too
I remember nothing about the TFU2 story tbh
That's horrible. It's a wicked moment in the game, but so much of a shame you can't get further - the finalé is awesome. Were you playing on PC?
Xbox 360
Aww man that sucks. You can get it really cheap on Steam - maybe give it another go?
Could not agree with you more. A lot of people give these games shit, and a lot of it is justified with the sequel in regards to length , but both remain probably the best hack n slash games I've ever played in terms of sheer gameplay.
Plus those DLC missions were dope af.
Disney NEEDS to come to their senses and make a deal with whoever to make a 3RD force unleashed game for PS4 & XBOX ONE!!!
I always liked giving starkiller a white and black lightsaber befitting his dual force abilities
I was so confused. I was like, "there's a 3rd one?"
had the first one on the Wii. was good fun with the motion controls
I heard that one concept for a villain was a failed clone made by Vader, using Starkiller and Darth Maul.
Maulkiller was a fun concept character that was made into a DLC skin available exclusively at retail preorder. I want to say GameStop but it could be anywhere.
I fucking loved the destruction. The breaking of bark and glass. I wish more games would replicate this.
The Force Unleashed was my very reason to by PS3!!
Good show! Forgive me for asking, but how did you find this video? We've seen a big spike in popularity for this, has it recently been linked somewhere?
I've been just looking Star Wars videos (among the others) and "suddenly" it was there...
Fun Fact: Galen Marek is only in 4 video games. SoulCaliberIV, StarWars the Force Unleashed, StarWars the Force Unleashed II, and Lego StarWars III the Clone Wars.
Damn it Disney! Give us the third game!!!!!
why do all 3rd star wars games get canceled? like knights of the old republic 3 and battlefront 3.
And Jedi Knight III! The LucasArts curse.
Starkiller is definitely my favorite Jedi my brother and I always argue of who would win a fight between Starkiller and Revan
+Mo agony Oh he'd smash Revan 😋
+The Game Show dude I know he always brings technicality Intuit like "Revan stronger every one says so" me I'm like BS look at starkiller's moves unbeatable and did Revan ever guide a falling star destroyer and basically stopped I don't think so 🖒
I recently finished again SW: TFU 1 on PS3 and it was such fun! I need to play second part!
Good show! A very fun game. TFU2 is a good "Sunday" game IMO. You can play it beginning to end in one sitting, it's just good old fashioned gaming.
Don't forget the Clone Wars MultiMedia Project, the most popular project of the three.
2002-2008 RIP
Before the name Starkiller was used in ep7. And even before it was used in the Force Unleashed. It appeared in the first KotOR as a name of mandalorian, who was the final boss of the dueling ring.
It appears in George Lucas's first draft of The Star Wars script from the mid 1970s.
@@MattyStoked I know. What I am saying is that the name was reintroduced as an actual piece of lore on at least one more occasion.
Lots of nice little Star Wars facts in this video!
Thanks buddy. Yeah I wanted it to be rich in content. A lot got cut out but I wanted to keep as many facts in as I could :-)
it,s been like what almost 8 years since Force Unleashed 2 came out man i loved those games, it,s so sad that there won't be a 3rd damn it...
If you've still got your PS3 then give FU2 another go. It's a short game, you can have it done in a few hours, two sittings probably.
Imagine a Starwars the force unleashed 3 like Jedi fallen order but with overpowered abilities like the previous force unleashed games.
If we do get another force unleashed game it needs those legendary execution combos for the boss battles like in the first game
0:58 You put a poster of The Phantom Menace in The Clone helmet instead of Revenge Of The Sith.
And I waited five years for someone to point it out.
This is my shit back then
what is the music used please ? Great video btw totaly agree
Thanks mate, and thanks for popping by. The music is from the Force Unleashed OST. It alternates between the main theme "The Force Unleashed" and "Approaching Felucia". A great OST.
Thaank you man apreciate your time for answer me ;)
No problem. A quick question from me; can I ask how you found this video?!
Please hit that subscribe button. I have at least two Star Wars videos coming out in the next week or so, with many more planned for the future.
Haha, that's *exactly* my bag! Set it to easy, smash up thousands of peons. I call it "Sunday Mode"
Original SW Battlefront 1 &2, KOTOR 1 & 2 and the Old Republic honorable mentions
that sucks that it got cancelled I love the games 1 and 2 a 3 I would buy it for sure
The only complaint I have with the first game is, the star destroyer scene. On the wii/ps2 it was just a cutsceen..but on PC its stupidly hard to do.
Bet you that Battlefront 3 EA gets cancelled
Star killer is my favorite character
I loved the force unleashed 1 and 2 but I feel 2 was too short
Idk if I just sucked at it, but that part where you pull down the stardestroyer was insanely difficult for me, and ruined the fun of that level. Still I wish there were more Star Wars games like these. I'd love to see one set in the Old Republic era.
You're not alone there. That level should have been the apex of the experience, but it's actually super annoying on high difficulties. The game's bosses were pretty tough, but that level's just not fair.
Glad to see someone finally say they liked the game, I guess I'm really not the only one lol
One of the reasons I love Force Unleashed is that it gives an extremely solid backstory to the founding of the rebels
And it doesn't contravene any of the EU or canon either side of it. Certainly no worse than any other part of the EU.
no shit sherlock...
I'd like to see Starkiller reintroduced like a novel, another video game, or even on the Rebels TV series.
There's a lot of talk about him turning up in Rebels. It's all unsubstantiated, but I think this would make fans extremely happy. Just like when Delta Squad turned up in Clone Wars.
Apparently the force unleashed 3 was going to have starkiller and Vader team up against Palpatines new apprentice who was going to replace Lord Vader
this is my favorite game or games I stopped playing video games for a few years after I learned that FU3 was canceled.
As I showed in the video, the name is pure Lucas. He came up with that before he came up with Skywalker.
(on pc, on the wii/ps2 you never had to do that and it was a cutsceen.)
That is the only complain I have with the hole series (never played The 2nd one due to being Poorly dumbed-down on wii. but downloading on pc)
I gave up on the game because I got too frustrated with that.
Tim Peters I have no problems with it dat was one of da levels I kept replaying over Nn over again
If platinum games had a hand in this like metal gear rising revengence, image how much fun it would be to be given the ability to slice enemies in any direction.
also I wish the previous games could have allowed you to use the other unique types of lightsabers.
I didn't know there was a part three.
This may be of interest of you- ua-cam.com/video/otK8jA_OaxE/v-deo.html
I played through the first game countless times. One of my favorite games of all time
Replaying the Force Unleashed at the moment, and the problems it had... they really stand out now.
I cant see tfu 1 in ps3 playstation store :( only part 2
juanca telechea because tfu 1 wasn't released on ps3
Renato Herrera Oh i didnt know it, but is there some way to get in ps3?
juanca telechea the fist one ? I don't think so, do You have a PSP or PS2 ?
? It was on the PS3 idiot.
UserNames AreHard TFU 2 Yeah The first one wasn't
Come on Disney, bring on some of those lucas art people and make TFU3. Give the people what they want.
WHAT THE HELL-CANCELLED?
How did that person get Starkiller to take the Riot Troopers staff and wack him with it?
I don't care if the expanded universe was rendered non-canon, these games fit in so well and are capable of being real without disturbing the now "new" canon. These two awesome games will always be canon to me, and if a 3rd one came out I'd be one happy camper.
I agree wholeheartedly. Sure Starkiller was super OP, but the games were genuinely entertaining. Certainly more than about a dozen EU novels. George himself put it best when he said that your own Star Wars canon is the most important one; choose which bits you like the most and enjoy your own special Star Wars Universe.
what was the force power at 0:18
I will cry forever The force unleashed 3. May the force create this game....
