Great to see you! This is SilviaSirius, hope all is well. The machine is cool and your explanation is clear. I've been doing hand embroidery and needlepoint lately.
Aww, great to hear from you! Things have been amazing since I moved back to Wisconsin :D Happy to hear you're still doing some cool new stuff. Happy Holidays to you and your fam, thx so much for saying Hello!!
Great to see you have a new video! I have a husqvarna Viking sewing machine that also does embroidery. I have become obsessed with embroidery and bought a Happy 7 needle machine.
I own it! However, there are not very many tutorials on how to use it at all so thank you for this! Can you make more videos of how to different things with it like patches, hats, jeans, shoe canvas, jackets etc. Where can I buy different attachments for it? I got the sports bundle but I need a long-arm attachment along with a few others.
Never tried embroidery but I’m considering giving it a go on a smaller scale just for my logos and stuff, watching these videos gives me more confidence to do it, just need to pull the trigger on a cheaper second hand machine. Are there any you recommend?
Awesome, thanks so much for watching! I am loving these new Brother machines lately. I got the XJ1 this year too and I'm addicted! Hope you're having fun making stuff for the holidays, cheers!
Starting with a PR1X machine and overwhelmed! Looking for a magnetic hoop to embroider various items, cocktail napkins, canvas tote bags, and baby cloths etc. What hoop do you recommend? Where to buy? Do I need any other parts to go with it? I'd appreciate any info, it's a lot for a beginner. Haha. your videos are so helpful!!
I was hoping to see you oil the machine before stitching as it needs oiled before daily use. I would love to see a close up demo of how you oil this machine. I have the machine and after looking in the manual I still would like to see a live demo of that step. Thank you!
Hello Tock, happy new year to you! Listen man I hate to be a pain in the ass but I am having a hard time sewing long sleeve button down shirts and only you can teach it right... to save editing time you can refer your viewers to the short sleeve video you made for the collar, main body, pocket, etc... its the sleeves and cuffs that are troublesome. Any help would be sincerely appreciated!
Every time I see a demo of embroidery it is using a small piece of test fabric. How different is it to put an embroidery on say a polo shirt? You just put it in the frame and it works? Does it have issues with fabric bunching up outside the frame? Does the arm move slower because it has to drag the whole weight of the garment?
geeze. i better practice threading my serger to prepare my for the lunacy of threading this thing. im still using the se625 because reasons (broke) so im still spoiled by my automatic needle threader, so i just assumed that all embroidery machines were mindless like mine.
I love you, Tock! I would live to just spend just ONE week at your place. OMG! It would be like Disneyland for me! ❤

Thanks for this video - hope there will be more
Thanks so much for watching, there will definitely be more for sure :) Happy Holidays!
Love it! Thanks. Just realized I’m threading around the “bigger” thing the wrong way haha .. I have the prs100 and xj1 - keep the learning coming

Actually it's supposed to be clockwise, fyi

Loving the content
Thanks a ton for watching buddy!
@TockCustom do you still Twitch?
love my PRS100
Love the embroidery, could you do a tutorial on how to embroider with a regular sewing machine?
Tock, any thoughts on doing more custom garment videos? Things like shorts and boxers and stuff like that?

I found if I turn the handwheel to the 9 o' clock position, I can clearly see in the right side of the bobbin, where to oil.
Can you make a video on how to change needles if one breaks or any other maintenance things that need to be done where the oil goes etc.
Can you float fabric on there? What about heavy and large things like towels? Have you notice fabric burns with those hoops?

Can you use this machine to do caps?
Yes, with the hat attachment.
this model is the perfect midpoint between the sewing machine based embroidery machines and the $12,000.00 money printing monstrosities.
I am confused. The PR1X seems to come with 8x12 and 4x4. Why are you saying a 9x14 and 5x7?
It's in mm, the closest inch measurements on my hoops are 9x14 for the largest hoop. Hope that makes sense!
@@TockCustom 200x300mm and 100x100mm
It doesn't come with a 5x7, according to everything I see, it only comes with two hoops, the 8x12, and the 4x4. No 5x7.
You are correct. I just got my machine and it did not come with the 5x7.
Ha. What could go wrong?
Are you suggesting something CRAZY might happen?! Thx for watching 😁
