- Most likely the most broken weapon for an easy run in elden ring, this is a weapon obtainable right at the start of the game , with native broken damage , poise damage and an insane ash of war , when you pair it with the bloodflame blade it becomes so strong where it's not even funny :)

I just beat the game myself for the first time! I was finally able to buy it just the day before the DLC was announced, actually lol
With 100 hours in and Lv.159, I did it with a mostly Str build, slashing enemies and throwing stuff lmao
This is such a good and versatile weapon. I think it carried a huge majority of the player base through their first run... And it's one of the very few unique weapons today can be buffed with greases, spells, and incants. Blood flame blade is probably the best and most used buff since it comes with innate bleed. I do wish the follow-up charged R2 wasn't spilt into 2 parts, but at least it looks badass

Bloodhound fang with bloodflame was pretty much my first playthrough, by the end game I was suing claw talisman and raptor armor and axe talisman with golden vow and flame grant me strength

I haven't even buffed this sword yet, as I only realized recently it was possible. Just upped my strength and dexterity, and it still smacks! Now with these buffs, it'll be unbelievably strong.

Have a +9 BHF, 1st playthrough and 1st souls game for me. I like other playstyles but there's absolutely nothing that compares to this weapon. It's such a handicap I feel bad using it, but everything else feels like a pool noodle in comparison.

There's a reason a lot of people switch and stick to this beast on their first playthroughs. It's just good. High damage, good moveset, can be buffed...and it honestly just looks good too which is the most important thing in Souls games obviously.
