Hello bass maniacs, today I was testing extraordinary Stradi Stoner Fretless 4 string bass, designed and procuced by polish luthier Marek Dąbek.

Body: Deeply Roasted Poplar, Ash back
Neck: one piece Oak, carbon fiber tubes reinforced:
Fingerboard: Padauk with Luminlay side lines and Pure Silver Swirl top markers
Electronics: Stradi passive piezo system with direct output
Tuners: Gotoh Res-o-lite GB350

Do I understand correctly, that there is no battery inside? If yes? This is 100% what I like! I mean fretless, piezo, knobless, batteryless.

Thx for demonstrating this formidable instrument! But it is NOT a violin inspired shape. The shape comes from the classical double bass. Have a look at the shoulders of a violin and at the shoulders of a double bass. You will see, they are completely different. The shoulders of a violin meets their neck in a 90 degree angle, the double bass not. That is because they come from a different intrument family. Violin, Viola and Cello are relatives - the double bass does not belong to this family.
This mistake is also often made by spoking about the famous Höfner-bass of Paul McCartney. It is called a "violin" bass. But the shape of Pauls bass is NOT a violin - it is the shape of a double bass.
