I was a "Glock guy" for a very long time... and never really thought I'd get a different make of handgun. But when I saw the OA2311, I knew I had to have one. And now I have two. And I want another. I also have a Staccato, and it is a great handgun. But if I had to choose between the 2311 or the 2011 to take into a "situation", the 2311 would be my choice. Every time. These guns are excellent and on another planet when compared to the mushy Glock trigger.
It’s such a great shooter. While I don’t like making the direct comparison, I personally enjoy shooting my 2311 than I ever did my Stacatto C2. I’m hoping the money I spent on the Lucky 7s porting with Monsoon Tactical will be worth it because that still comes out a hair less than the upgrade to the Pro )I also got stippling and full gun cerakote).
What is that gorgeous knife on the first picture?! Damn it, Jim! I only have two kidneys to sell and build a collection. But I won't... WhoooooSaaaaa. If I get into guns, that will be bad bad bad lol
😂😂. That a custom Strider XL that will be on the next R1 Invitational show at recon1.com there will be 3 Nightmare variations, this was the laser etched grid pattern blade. Expect that knife to cost more than this gun.
@@AtoZEDCreviews Thank you, Sir! You should be getting a LOT more views for all the work and details you provide. Looking forward to all new vids on all channels. 🤯
I feel the exact same way about my EDC Shadow Systems MR920 Elite with a TLR7 Alpha and Holosun EPS MRS green and a Johny Glock combat flat trigger shoe. I couldn’t believe it was made here in Dallas/Plano Texas!! Have you seen the new CR920X 15 round ?! It replaced my 43X it’s the exact same size as the 43X but soooo much nicer!
Good job by OA, good concept with the P320 mags and ambi slide release. The only thing I would improve on is those optic plates, make them sit lower because that MPS looks too high on that slide.
Until just about a week ago, OA didn’t offer an ACRO plate (my OA plate is now on the way), so I had to use the RMR plate then add a C&H Precision adapter plate which I don’t love. Not a fan of tolerance stacking. As soon as my gun returns back from Monsoon Tactical for porting, I’ll be correcting the red dot mount situation.
@AtoZEDCreviews that makes sense because I've seen other people review it and their optics were sitting a lot lower. What port did you get from Monsoon? Lucky 7?
Are you able to modify the 15rd mags to fit with the full size magwell? I’ve got a compact pro ported but the store didn’t have a plus kit version in person to buy. I don’t want to buy the whole plus kit if I don’t have to. Thank you!
Actually most reviews are done by owners. Oracle only sent out a couple of review units. I believe tactical considerations and humblemarksman's second one were review units. Everyone else owns theirs.
You talking about the importance of having redundancy in safeties. Me still wondering how on earth anyone thinks the P320 is a smart idea. Literally the same thing as carrying the P226 DA/SA with the hammer back. Yet i can't find a single person who would say thats a good idea. Seriously same pull length +/- a mm, and +/- a 1 lbs on pull weight. Better drop safety even. So Sig going to offically tell ppl go ahead carry that 226 da cocked? "Just need a proper holster, man" 😂😂
I agree, I sold all my P320s after the first wave of accidental booms. Back when they were firing from dropping. Sig claimed it was inertial due to the mass of the trigger shoe. So they were long gone from my collection before the new wave of problems came out (which I feel is more dangerous than before). I won’t own a P320 ever again.
@@AtoZEDCreviews absolutely agree. I still have my 320 axg. Which is why im watching this. Plan to trade out my 320 365 and a CZ scorpion. I've carried a 226/227/220 now 20 years. Curious would you go with this 2311 or p229 sa? My 226 is $2500 gun with all the AC and GG improved parts. So by the time i get a 229 to the level of the 2311 i have just as much in it.
Doesn’t matter at all to me. The lockup is bank vault solid and it’s more accurate than I’m capable of being. And not being a bushing barrel, it’s not a big benefit to have a bull barrel like it would be on a more standard 1911 platform. The little bit of weight difference it would have had is taken care of by my X300 out front.
@@AtoZEDCreviews interesting I have 2 staccatos and a Wilson and the crowned bull barrel I def notice a difference. I am curious on these and I reached out to them to review one on my main channel and at the time they did. It have review guns available. My local FFl has 2 in but I am not convinced it’s worth the coin.
Fair request on the mag release, but it is easily reversible I believe. I don’t get the second part of the comment though. Are you saying that we should only rely on cheap guns to defend our lives?
Thank you for the thorough video - we're glad to have you as an owner.

Nice review, thank you!
I look forward to seeing what it looks like after monsoon gets done with it.
Hey thanks. My initial wait just ended yesterday and I got her shipped off to Monsoon, so I can’t wait either.
Probably most impressive gun for me from 2024 ShotShow. I plan on ordering ported version for myself ,once I get over personal crap I got going on.

Thank you for the high praise, here's to smooth sailing and an OA 2311 in your hands sooner than later.

@@awokeone7997 yep, Lucky 7s, custom stipple job all the way around and full theme cerakote
@AtoZEDCreviews damn, well can't wait for the video especially to see how much you like the Lucky 7's.
Thank you for the praise. We now offer ACRO plates so no third party adapter plate is needed!

Adding a larger baseplate to the mags would make them work, yes.

Do you know id the mag realease is swappable with p320 mag releases? Wanting to swap mine out but not sure if it's compatible.
It sure is. Everything from the frame rails up is 1911 series 70 except the slide lock, and everything below is Sig P320 👍
