The 2311 is basically staccato money... My prodigy after all the upgrades is more than Staccato money and it bums me out. However it's smoother and flatter shooting than the P my Dad shoots.
I went to store to buy a staccato but I came across a Cz shadow 2 compact so I ended up buying the prodigy 4.25 and the shadow 2 compact I love the prodigy I have no issues it just has to be well lubed the prodigy is my main ccw
I’ve tried to understand the conclusion of this comparison and only after watching it various times was I able to get the message: 2311 for carrying, prodigy for competition. The images and sound and music make it difficult to understand for me. I did not quite understand why the prodigy is a better shooter than the 2311.
[in hands comments].... Uh, "that's what she said"? 🤣 I'm still too "po" for one'a these, but, "hey"! Maybe someday. Thank you for the considerations, sir.
Well it's 2300 dlls the staccato p is 2499 for 200 dlls more I will get a staccato all the way as far the springfield armory prodigy got one and I already got near 2000 rounds no issue at all great video 👍
Thanks for watching. The biggest issue I have with Staccato vs OA Defense’s 2311 is to get to the same point of what you get with the OA 2311, you’ll need to buy another 3 mags which will be at least another $180 (or more). In addition you’ll need to purchase an optics plate when the OA 2311 comes with one. So, on the low end you’re spending an additional $200-$300 to equal what you already get with OA 2311. That’s a case of 9mm you could be training or competing with.
I bought a Springfield Prodigy and the thumb safety broke and fell off before I fired a single shot. Was simply flipping it up and down. I sent it back and they fixed it, but I regret buying it.. if that is what happens to a component that wasn't under any sort of hard use.. what will happen with the internals of the gun under hard use?
I’m not a fan of the Oracle for what it costs. It simply isn’t worth it in my opinion. Approaching staccato P money yet no bull barrel. Not a fan of the chungus magwell either. Just make a longer frame. You can build a lights out Prodigy for what the Oracle costs. Even if you paid full price for the prodigy. Its crazy how many people on UA-cam spout their opinions on guns like this knowing they don’t shoot much (if at all) and don’t posses the mechanical skills to see actual quality concerns
@@porchjoegood choice man Skips is a genius & awesome dude… Used mine for a Competition this week everyone asking how i got my Prodigy to work so well lol Skips magic is real.. and all in im $2100 into it.. wayyy less than A Staccato.. But i wouldn’t trash Staccato bc they’re great too!! I just like the Prodigy look better!!! Staccato trigger guard to slide length is kind of weird. Their trigger guards are shorter than every other gun

Thanks for the reviews. I just bought an OA Compact Plus 17rd. Do you happen to know if the issues effect it and serial number range?
I don’t know the serial number range but if you JUST bought it, you should be ok.
@@FitnFire thanks!
Hey man, Love the video. Mind if I ask - What Red dot do you have on your Prodigy??
It is the Nitewing SPO320

Don't be , a fully juiced out Prodigy is better than a stock Staccato. They aren't the only game in town anymore

@@FitnFire or gloss over where I stated the product can be “built to run lights out”?

Prodigy + Skips Gunz = BEST 1911/2011 out!!!!
OA grips too small and Magwells too bulky 🤮
I’m a send mines I just bought to Skip. I just couldn’t see myself spending that kind of money on a Staccato and it surely crossed my mind.
