Hey, just started watching your videos. I love everything you've done with your SS. You inspired me to get the Camaro. I just placed an order for a 2018 2SS, 1LE. Waiting for GM to accept my order and start production on my car. I probably wouldn’t get it until March of 2018 but it would be worth the wait. Keep up the great videos bro.

Awesome. Not going to make SEMA this year. When you go to the Chevy Performance booth tell them we want a factory forward looking camera. They can probably use a lot of existing part #'s from the Corvette and it will drive business to the dealers so people can go there to get a reflash for the NAV/Monitor to add the front camera button. They owe it to everyone who bought their front extensions and lowering springs!

Im with you I hate the way my car sounds on E. Since I still have the stock NPP going to catless Kooks it not only s quieter but it is way more raspy. I try to only put E in if I know I will be racing otherwise I keep 93 because it sounds so damn good :). Your car is gorgeous btw. I have a similar theme going on as you on my 6th gen but you have def spent alot more attention to detail than I have on the exterior and especially inside the engine bay. Well done sir.

@lethalcamaro I found and bought a 2018 Camaro SS 1LE with a little over 4000 miles on it. It came with a ZL1 front end, side skirts, black side markers, roof wrapped to match hood, and line lock when I bought it off the lot. I immediately installed a P1SC-1 pro charger with stage 2 intercooler. The only other thing I did was the strut tower brace and changed the rear lights to the GM darks to match all the side markers.
That was fun and all, but I recently bought all forged inners, cam, LT4 injectors, LT4 fuel pump, triple disc monster clutch, E85 sensor, 2” kooks long tube headers, one piece driveshaft rated for 1000+ and rear axles rated for 1000+. Oh yeah, roller rockers and a few other little goodies. I currently have 9500 on the odometer and can’t wait to get it back to see how it does. The tuner said I should be at around 850 RWHP. As in keeping with a track car, that’s the majority of what I may do.
I enjoy your videos. Recently subbed. Oh yeah, I’m adding the P-3 gauge and Toyo R888’s while all my new goodies are being installed. Can’t wait to pick it up and see how it is. I did a lot at once so it should be a huge difference. Take care and happy driving.
What state are you in? My only concern is that my car will no longer be legitimately street legal with the cat deletes(I’m from Cali) guess I’ll cross that road when I get to it

@@Lethalgarage also, I bought the same size tires for the fronts as the F1’s that came on my car in the Toyos (285 30 20), but had to go 315 30 20 in the rear because Toyo only makes the 305 in 35 20 which seems too big. The 315’s are only like 3/8-1/2” taller overall. Do you see any need for spacing or moving the wiring harness on the drivers side rear for those? I watched your video on tire figment but I think you went a bit taller than I am, if I’m not mistaken.

how much power are you making with the small pulley.
Have u considered upgrading your torque converter with all that power your putting down? Maybe it's just my luck but my A8 has had problems. Already had it in for the shaking and I get some rough shifts. I'm expecting to have to get that replaced st some point but the GM part itself seems to be shit if so many automatics having issues. You don't seem to have that though. Shit is shifting quick and pulls hard! So bad ass!
It all comes down to the tune. I have been lucky to have Ryne Cunningham in my backyard. He has mentioned I should think about it, but so far it has been good.

Matt, you mentioned that the tranny's lower gear ratios got changed to deal with the extra torque. That makes perfect sense. For your own knowledge and your followers here (like me!) what are the old gear ratios and the new ones? I would think you'd want to know that, and this curious mind is interested too. ;)

Nice build Matt. Have been following you since I picked up my own 17 A8 SS in June. I'm starting to get that modding itch now that I've gotten relatively used to what the car can do. Thinking about starting small, like a rotofab CAI. I wouldn't tune the car though because I really don't wanna void my warranty. Does the CAI increase power at the high end without taking away from that absolutely wonderful low end torque? I started throwing on a CAI and a 5mm larger throttle body on my previous car (14 mustang GT) and found the car to be kind of sluggish on the low end. Don't want to make the same mistake

I'm interested in knowing the new 0-60 and the difference in lap times of the built ss against the normal ss.

In one of your earlier videos you mentioned that this was not the original "Lethal Camaro". The first car had factory paint issue's. So some how you managed to get a replacement Camaro. My Camaro has what the dealer is calling Rail Dust which is eating the paint. Caused during shipping of the car. What was your process in getting the dealer to switch/ replace the car?
+Michael Alawneh my.paint was falling off my car. I noticed issues and had them nite it before I left the dealer. They were I the hook to fix it from the start.

I never use tour mode. Sport for steering and suspension. Track for exhaust.
+I Finn If you park your car and track mode it auto defaults to tour mode that’s the only reason my car is ever in tour
LethalGarage yea I know. I have all my driving settings manually selected so it doesn't change after being parked. Your 6th gen is top notch. You should get the OEM black Camaro gas cover, I have it on mines. I'm not going all out like you did decided to keep her as is. It's Krypton Green with black stripes 2SS so I get a ton of points and stares. Got a simple video of it on my channel.
LethalGarage the video is when I first got it. Now it's tinted 30% all around, the black OEM Camaro gas cover, black leather seat belt shoulder pads with Camaro embroidered and a black license plate cover that says 6.2 LT1. That's all. 🙂

Weak sauce!! I know rules and regulations. But do you show up with all the parts number and papers. Or you have a buddy on the low.. or when you go in does the smog D.A.D (I think that's the name) pick up your tune or performance and red flag it. When they connect too it.. Now days hard to smog. Not everyone want to put the extra time check every part to see it's ok. Or chance it and get caught up.. where able to put a supercharge cause our years come with it. But then you need to go to the ref..

I couldn't tell if the timing cover came off. Did you keep the stock crank? What brand pistons/rods did you buy? Were they balanced?
Stock crank as it is forged, CP piston/rod combo and yes balanced

Heey do you have to break in the engine new if you change pistons and the things you did?
You want to pistons to seat well, but no longer term break-in needed.
We're the pistons/rods just drop in?! I saw they didn't have the block out. I have been told even with GPI's drop in kit, that the block should be removed and sent to a machine shop. Have you had any issues? I know you've run it a bit. Thanks!
They honed the block in the car. Zero issues with the drop-ins here.

Trevon Adams thats true though I am just so new to this stuff and wanted some pointers. Considering now that I am keeping my car for life most likely (or try to as best as I can keep it that long) would like to put on any upgrades that would go good on a 1LT v6 camaro. Not put SS Seats or wheel or anything from other trim models. I want it to be my own build my own car. Unique by being simple but in the way it was made to be. A 1LT Camaro with a V6 engine.

with the things we have changed over the years, I am more than that into it. But I am happy to say, over 5 years on YT, the revenue video's have provided has just about paid for the car.

But it's for the love of a car we do it. Although I'll never put that much into a car. Maybe because I'm at least 25 years older than you, and I realize I need retirement income. you need more power and you will, LOL your almost exactly the same as my Camaro with forged so add the power, careful your weak link is the same as mine the tranny. I have pushed mine past what the tranny can take, I have mine tuned down but we are adding Meth smallest pulley and tune then cross my fingers I dont pop the tranny but I probably will we will be at 900 hp when its all in place.
