So according to the google gods it saying to clean the Mass air flow sensor every 6 months or when you change your oil. I have a 2016 and never touched mine and it runs just fine. I’m not sure but did you put a Cat back exhaust system on your truck? If you haven’t I installed the AFE POWER MACH Force 3”. It has a great sound and the claim 10 HP gain. I can’t conform that but I do see a little increase in MPG. You letting all that air in with your TRD intake and it needs to get back out. Keep the videos coming.
I do have a Flowmaster exhaust, but I keep forgetting to do a video on it. So I have yet to do one. Maybe that's what I should do for next week's video?

Nice!! Have you cleaned your throttle body yet? Dealership is trying to charge me $300 to do mine. Figured it can't be that hard.

Can you use a soft bristle brush? Or cleaner only
I would stick with cleaner only.
Unplugging it is why I came here. You kinda skipped how to do that !
Sorry about that. The plug is secured into the sensor with a single clip on the wide flat side. Disengage that tab, and it should unplug.
Squeeze the top of the plug and rock it back and forth. I had to use a rag to save my fingers. Don't be tempted to use plyers. Just keep pushing and working it until it unplugs.
Do you recommend unplugging the battery before performing this cleaning? Or even before cleaning the throttle body?
