🤯🤯🤯 No matter how much I watch Charlie Hunter like a hawk with a telescope.... I still can't comprehend how the actual f*@k he can do what he does!?!?!?!
An incredible show once again, thank you so much for sharing these. So inspirational and the two of you are a rare breed in music. It's like you were born to play music together as you read each other with some extrasensory perception! Can't wait for the UK shows.
@21:25 loving this feel for "You Can't Do That". I feel like a lot of folks are hesitant to be creative with Beatles tunes as if they're sacred or something, but they're such beautiful songs on paper that could be interpreted so many different ways that it's a shame people don't do it more often. Just beautiful.
Thanks for the hours of enjoyment watching you guys, Carter made me go buy a drum kit. I don't hear enough of your bass in the mix. The two of you guys together are amazing.
so great to see you playing with charlie. he has long been one of my favorite musicians. you are the first drummer on the scene that has blown me away in 20 years. just always super tasty playing, space in the right places, solid grooves, amazingly musical drumming. just great, man.
"I'm a fan of Carter's for 6 years now since I first watched him demo an 8x14 Dunnett Titanium snare that I wish I could afford....What an incredible drummer he is and he has certainly worked hard to get where he's at...even played for Broadway's 'The Lion King' for ages and I believe 'Cirque du Soleil' also if I'm not mistaken."
Somebody was doin a little boozin and their index finger accidentally hit the dislike. Poor bastard probably woke up with his boots on and couldn’t remember a damn thing.
So am I seeing two 1/4 jacks coming from the guitar? Also only volume pots for both pickups or are they some kind of duel functioning pots with tone and volume in one?
i need a guitar like that....the pots might be dual functioning, but tone doesn't really matter that much if you can eq it on the amp and youre not going to change it while playing
Gordon Fremen no control over the tone on the guitar would drive me crazy on a standard guitar, but maybe not on that hybrid.. done know, never played one
Carter McLean the Med signature ride never leaves my line up. everything thing else varies, and there's always a 30th, usually a 20 that's there also. right now it's those 2 and a Mel Lewis 21 with Turk hats. I like how you often change line ups. I also bought the first of the 5 Carter McLean snare drums that came to Memphis Drum Shop, and hope to get a matching kit, thanks to your videos🌝

How this guy isn’t more famous blows my damn mind. Absolutely incredible musicians!
🤯🤯🤯 No matter how much I watch Charlie Hunter like a hawk with a telescope.... I still can't comprehend how the actual f*@k he can do what he does!?!?!?!
Charlie simply seems to get so much joy from playing, as if he never has to work a day in his life.
I'm pretty sure he'd tell you that the job part of being a musician is the driving to and from
Riding, driving, flying. Setting up and tearing down. That’s when you’re workin’

Something tells me these guys will never be at the Grammys. Their talent would be too intimidating .
Your solo in minute 38 is out of this world, i love your ideas!!! Genius
@38:28 - starts one of the best intros. So underrated @Carter McLean!
That was great! Thanks for the timestamp.
Your drums are tuned so so so beautiful.
手数とかじゃなくてセンスが超一流のベーシストとギターリストが一人になってしまった。

The Beatles would be damn proud.

1:10:20 this version of Sweet Sue really swings hard once they get going.
Excellent pairing and superb musicianship from both gentlemen!! Wish we could avail ourselves of your artistry in the UK.
everything is great here but the drums starting at 38:10 are eargasm deluxe
Hank Williams "Cold Cold Heart" as a reggae lilt. (or maybe a mambo)

Kids, this is what real musicianship looks like. Pure artistry.

@6:00 This has got to be the coolest arrangement of Hank Williams ever.
Yup. Just said similar before seeing your comment. Such a great song and such interesting treatment.

Carter awesome playing, please tell me cymbals played???
lloyds of london couldn't even insure charlies fingers and music brain lobe!!!!! what a genius
So am I seeing two 1/4 jacks coming from the guitar? Also only volume pots for both pickups or are they some kind of duel functioning pots with tone and volume in one?
Tyler Thompson my theory is that those are just two seperate volume knobs for each pickup and each output
GreenPuma99 yeah most likely, it just seems strange that you’d have no tone. Also I see now that he’s running one jack to a bass rig. Cool shit
Yeah! But i guess the tone could be tweaked on the rig itself. And cool shit indeed!! :D
i need a guitar like that....the pots might be dual functioning, but tone doesn't really matter that much if you can eq it on the amp and youre not going to change it while playing
