    What grosses me out is people that kill snakes cause they're fucking incoherently immature, and dumb.

    • @LolSnimci
      @LolSnimci 10 років тому +1

      Dumb? pls first see all of you *snake lovers*!
      Normal people are not dumb.They are right about one thing : Snakes are not made to be pets!

      Goran Pjevalica no they're not but in the world we live in they are. so deal with it, and people are dumb about snakes, incredibly very dumb.... don't be naive

      ***** I dont like snakes.I hate them.I dont like their bodies,movement,they are creepy and cold blood animals.They are ugly.How do they ate food is discusting.Sacrifice 238129389127381 mices,rats,birds and other animals for what?Cruelty is above level of normal people.(baby hamsters like 1 week old eaten by snake..).
      I realy dont know what is in mind of snake lovers?Let me explain you on this way:
      So you are takling to another guy who own snake: my snake is realy beautifull bla bla i love animals especialy snakes.
      So my question is this.How can you be so happy about your pet and say im animal lover when you are kiling hundreds of other species.
      Who is your snake to judge to all other species?
      Im not pussy,i know natural order but in captivity there is no chance for hamster to escape from snake in cage.I cant explain how retarded are people who only thinks on their snake.Like selfish mothers who only know about their children: my child is the best bla bla...and their brain is active like only 3%.Moral is 0,emphaty is not even created in their heads,low brain people who cant thing on many ways and cant see world from diferent angle!

    • @ElSueno97
      @ElSueno97 10 років тому +7

      Goran Pjevalica We're not killing hundreds of other species, only a handful and we're not killing anything the snakes are. There's billions of fucking rodents and what not, we(all snake lovers) couldn't even put the slightest dent in the rodent population of this earth with all our snakes, and most snake breeders and keepers hate and i mean HATE, feeding LIVE rodents, but you have to remember it's just a rodent, JUST A FUCKING MOUSE/RAT. we don't enjoy hearing baby mice squeal in pain, but it's necessary, passion is passion and i believe that everyone should aim towards what they love, you make sacrifices for what you love doing, if you love owning snakes then you gotta feed them rodents, and FYI most if not all of the time people these days feed prekilled rodents who were killed in a way less painful way so get your shit straight, and you're saying you hate something that came from this beautiful earth we live on? that's wrong, snakes are amazing creatures and ignorant asswipes like you wont even give them a chance, less than half the snakes you see like to bite, and no snakes are not ugly they are absolutely captivating, open your eyes, i grew up with snakes so i know why you are like this, you just don't know squat about them. and that's fine, most people don't know or care enough to know about them and the truth about them....

    • @ElSueno97
      @ElSueno97 10 років тому +5

      Goran Pjevalica i don't expect you to understand and like snakes but have some respect don't be calling them ugly cause you sir are fucking wrong about that, little do you know some snakes are like puppy dogs, i can watch tv with a python and it'll just sit there and chill, where as most dogs and cats either want nothing to do with you or wanna run and jump and scratch, and don't get me wrong i love doggies and kitties a whole lot, i have a kitty, but i would much rather sit and chill with a carpet python around my neck or on my lap then i would with a hairy ole doggie. don't knock our passion for snakes cause you don't understand us. please, it's rude as hell, i wouldn't do that to you

      there is a huge difference between knowledge and practice, brian have them both so I think he's not doing anything wrong to his snakes. of course snakes like atb or gtp are much more comfortable with big and high cages but since they are eating and breeding, the way he houses them is just fine for them.

    One of my female ball pythons didn't eat for about 8 months, but she stayed healthy and thick. Didn't get any loose skin or infections. A breeder I know said that balls hibernate sometimes. Not a big deal for a pet, but definitely would be a setback for breeding.

    Been bitten by a red tail boa and a burmese python. Even at 2 feet python bites suck, hurts a little, sounds like velco separating when they let go (or you pull them off). The boa, at 7 feet though, you feel the impact and then you're bleeding from a bunch of little holes and wondering WTH happened.

    Most terrestrial snakes like the multiple Ball Pythons he shows actually prefer tight spaces. It gives them a feeling of security, which prevents stress, which keeps them healthy and more docile. Since these morphs don't occur in the wild, these snakes would not survive in the wild, lacking proper camouflage and such. They have been bred for generations in captivity and are no burden on the wild populations. He is following his passion and is using it to educate others. No wrong in that.

    Kenneth, if ur experienced, get a gtp. Sounds like you started randomly hoarding bps though. Gtps are alot more aggressive and need more care though.

    I have a butler's garter snake and a midland brown snake that are both wild caught, but my garter snake doesn't like to be held unless you cover most of it's body with your hands :L help!

    I love snakebytes. I am scared to DEATH of snakes - total phobia - but watching your show makes me a little more comfy. Especially where I live that only has really 1 type of poisonous snake - rattler - which warns you well before it strikes. Hear it, you identify location and back the f' off. :D

    Weird question... I can see my corn snake's back bone but he eats well and has never gone on a food break, always eats a mouse once a week. isnt even picky about the colour of the mice he eats. At the place I bought him they always say he looks healthy and he has a great temperament; only times hes ever bitten me was when he was young and during feeding time... he does however get lumps by his poo-hole before he goes to the bathroom for a few days, so maybe he's not? this normal? haha

    thanks Brian for your videos. I've just got my first snake and mostly because of your videos I could handle him without problems. He is jungle carpet python with a bit attitude ;). Got only 1 bite just because of my stupidity - when I've got him on my hands, I've wanted to direct him to hist cage - touched him to close to his head.

    When I was working at a petshop, I got bit by a ball python... Not big of a deal, when they are afraid, I find that they just nip you and then let go. A little bit of blood and thats pretty much it.
