    At 1:30 all I could think was "this guy's balls are about to get munched."
    There is no way I'd approach a snake that huge with my legs open like that.

    Biggest Anaconda was 17 feet! Thanks Brian, I learn a lot of stuff from you! It comes in real handy since I'm "snake sitting" my daughter's ball python "Rexy". I have learned a lot and I'm now really quite fond of her! I enjoy your show very much! Thanks again! Mike M.

    For people who don't know much about snakes, they love dark & confined places. A big tank would just cause them more stress & they're most likely curled up inside their hide most of the time anyways. Don't be ignorant & comment some bullshit like it's animal cruelty.

    • @blakereeves1398

      I agree they do if you get one as a baby you move them up tanks as they get bigger or they get stressed

    reading the majority of comments.. there's a lot of folks on here that shouldn't own a snake. dear hades. I own a Pastel Ball Python.. I can't (I can actually) wait til she gets full grown. Creating the bond between you and your snake is the most rewarding part of the whole experience.

    I came here to see a clip of the picture in the thumbnail. I should have known better than to waist my time once I found out that it was these guys as they are notorious for having a thumbnail that is not in the video itself. Don't get me wrong they make interesting and informative clips, but when you're skimming the pictures to the right and see something interesting, it's annoying when it's not in the clip.

    • @Djjobless

      I wanted to see the context of the picture in the clip. Was the guy handling the snake incorrectly? Was the guy a professional at all? How did the situation resolve? Was the guy OK? Was the snake OK? How big was the snake? Where was this exactly? Should I go on?
      Remember, I said the pic caught my eye and I did not look to see the name of the poster, so I was unaware it was these guys (who are professionals), and I said they make very good quality videos.
      I just don't like when people use a thumbnail for a video and the picture is not actually in the clip. So before you get all self righteous on me, think first, then speak.

    The Quiz answer is wrong, the length of the largest anaconda ever recorded at was 24ft, a guy called Paul Rolosie wich made the episode "Eaten Alive" found and catched one anaconda with 19ft but he found one with 25+ft but he could not catch, because the anaconda was more powerful and runs away

I'm a very understanding person but for the life of me I cannot understand why someone would do this. And when he got bit it's like, really, what do you expect? And why play with these animals? They belong in the wild.

    • @WGB07
      @WGB07 9 років тому +7

    • @WGB07
      @WGB07 9 років тому +9

      ALL animals were at one point wild you fucking idiot, a lot of animals aren't suitable to be domesticated of course but snakes thrive in captivity and if it wasn't for people breeding certain species then some snakes in the wild would be extinct. as time goes on people will be more accustomed to snakes being household pets and they'll be less clueless fools like you around to dig at what i and so many others love

    • @boomchicka5629
      @boomchicka5629 9 років тому

      Sam Whyman I'm uneducated but you have no proper rebuttal. ALL, and I mean ALL, snake feeding video's I've seen on UA-cam with people who keep pet snakes keep them in a very tiny box or cage-like thing, AWAY from nature and only take them out for feeding. And no, snakes aren't content in a tube with newspaper, they would be more content OUTSIDE, where they belong, IN THE WILD, FREE, idiot. Holding animals, especially disgusting, creepy animals, captive and in restrictive living circumstances just because sick freaks like you think it's "cool" to see them feed. Disgusting. And the people who do give them elaborate living spaces are like 1 out of a million snake owners, and it still does not compare to the natural wild all wild animals perfer to live in.

    Living in little boxes must be bad for these poor animals they are like in prison..if you love them that much then leave them alone and give them a chance to live their life freely..this is so selfish to keep them in boxes just because you like them..

    • @DanielDiaz-qw6ou
      @DanielDiaz-qw6ou 9 років тому

      In the most respectful way. Please, educate yourself before you create ignorant opinions on here. Snakes are most likely uncapable of having most emotions anyways and science tells us they feel safe here. They would die at a low age in the wild.

    • @friieso
      @friieso 9 років тому +6

      I am not ignorant you are just selfish..maybe they are safe but what can happen to them when they are living in a small box..of course they are safe but sorry they dont have a life!..I bet that they are not happy with that life..whats wrong with that by the way I just want them to live their life I dont want to see them living like a prisoners because of that am I ignorant? oh really? In the most respectful way please go and find someone else to argue..

    • @mairinmazzieshearysmith6642
      @mairinmazzieshearysmith6642 9 років тому +4

      Frau Best It's no worse than keeping dogs ad cats indoors all day, or keeping a fish in a bowl '"just because you like them". Snakes are reptiles. They don't have the same emotional needs as mammals like cats, dogs, etc. They don't need to be played with or walked every day. And clearly you are not very educated regarding snakes because they actually like enclosed spaces. In the wild they cozy up in small spaces. No, the cages that they keep them in aren't lavish with hides and decorations, but they aren't pets. They're breading animals. And you should appreciate how passionate Brian is about these animals and how nicely he treats and cares for them. These snakes in cages are happier with a breeder who loves and cares about the hobby and the snakes than a dog that sits home all day while its owners are gone or gets kicked around.

      If snakes are not your choice, so be it. Why do you feel the need to make a poorly thought out, snide remarks pertaining what is a passion for others. Unless your sole purpose was to try to shame individuals that like these creatures, or you could just be one of the unfortunate many that suffer from verbal diarrhea.

      If they are only small periods of time there, it's OK. If they have to spend their whole lives in small enclosures like that, I think it's wrong.
      This is business after all, so 'good' terrariums etc. would negatively affect the net proceeds.

    I have a question for you. Do you think it's possible to create a giant snake hybrid of a Reticulated python and a Green anaconda? And I have come up with a name for it to, called "Pythoconda"!!

    snakes are like dogs.. they can hear the heartbeat of a man and know if the latter is afraid. once the snake could sense he could dominate he will strike... the best way to deal with snakes is to dominate them by holding its tail first. see it on my channel

    22 ft. is my guess... for the quiz.
    ...The pythons were by far calmer than the anacondas. The pythons are the snakes that remind me of Fancy guppies because of all the color and pattern morphs I see, on all the python breeders channels . yes its the pythons that remind me of the Fancy Guppy!!! lol

    I love the first snake! she's just so pretty! sometimes I don't get why people are afraid of snakes. I mean I know that they're afraid of it biting them but the only snake that you should be scared of are ones in the wild , ones that don't like humans, and ones that are poisonous. I grew up with my mom having lots of reptiles and stuff so I'm not scared of snakes but I am scared of bugs! my mom had this one snake , that's at my grandma and grandpas house now , and it's the sweetest little guy! he's a red takes boa constrictor! I now it sounds like he's shouldn't be so sweet because of his breed but he is! I even trained him to go up and tap my cheek when I do that sound when when you blow a kiss! he notices the vibrations I make and miss what I'm meaning so he goes and give me a kiss! he's so cute! (and no he's not trying to bit me. he's SLOWLY going up to my cheek and taps it.) he really likes me to cuase I allways let him out and explore! I even put him outside sometimes but of course on the trampoline. thanks to you snake bits , I can learn more about snakes which will help me be a vet when I grow up!😸😸😸

    Is there much demand for Green Anacondas? Considering their size, strength, and disposition, it seems like an extremely low percentage of snake owners could accommodate them. They are really cool and beautiful snakes, though.

    I have a snake that has never bitten me, she is an albino King snake. My moms friend has a kingboa that she really wants to get rid of, she's terrified of it. Apparently she has never held it, so the snake is not used to human contact. I don't mind aggresive snakes, but I can't help but being afraid of getting bit. How do I get over this?
