Hey, what month did you apply for the transfer??
Hi, what time of year is it best to apply for a transfer? I’m currently at Cardiff university doing my first year and the course is great but I absolutely loathe the city lol. Thinking about transferring to Sussex. When should I look into starting the transfer process?
do they still put heavy weighting on your alevels? and ask for the alevels?
hi is it possible to change after first year of law in any other university in london?
I am about to get into my first year of university. If I want to transfer for my second year, when should I start the process? I am not attending yet but im already thinking of transfering and was wondering when the best time is.
Hello. I’m in the same situation as you I am planning on transferring from Essex to Aston University after my first year. Would Aston university reject me if they see I have bad grades but I have done well in my first year?
@@clipplusOfficial man, im thinking about the same thing! I'll be starting my 1st year in essex and im not really happy about going there (city, campus, etc are badd from what ive seen), and i want to transfer to aston on my 2nd year. Can you please tell me about your experience in essex uni? Is it really as bad as the reviews in google? Thanks a ton!
Are Alevel results used to judge your transfer across unis? or is it only your perfomance in the first year of your current uni? Could you please let me know?
Hi there, when I applied, I did have to all my details on UCAS however, for me, they didn’t require certificates, only my 1st year transcript. I cannot say whether they consider all the information you have provided as well, I’m sure it varies and different institutions have different requirements.
Awesome video! Did you have to make it really clear about the reasons for transferring? What if I just simply wanted to get into a better uni...
Thank you so much!! You do have to mention why, yes. Only a couple sentences I was told to include so they understand why. My circumstances were to be closer to home and to attend a London university. Please don’t worry - this, at least to my knowledge, (which why would it?) doesn’t hinder your application. Yes you can say that - sweet talk if you like lol, but ultimately it’s about your grades and drive.
Hello sir
Can i changed my postgraduate course? Any other UK university?
your UCAS account isn't deleted I reapplied to uni using the same UCAS account I used in sixth form, its better this way cos all my details are still on there all I had to change was my personal statement and education
Hi there, when I tried to login using the exact same details, which was auto saved on my computer, it said it didn’t have an account of those details. I even tried to log in manually too. I read online it’s only active for a year unless you defer and then it deletes. I’m glad you were able to log in still! Saves a lot of time. 😊
Sir, after Foundation programme is it possible to transfer another University..?
Sorry for the delay! I would say that is possible.. I don’t see why not. Did you manage to find out?
Hi , ive currently just joined Uni and am already planning my transfer for 2nd year , when will I find out if my place is confirmed , will I have to wait till results day or will it be when I send over my transcript , thanks
Hey! Thank you for your comment :) ahh are you? Have you made the wrong decision/are you unhappy? You don’t have to explain if you don’t want to. So similar to applying for 1st year, you have to wait until A-Level results day. In August. You don’t get your end of 1st year result until July and then they have to process it, it’s a very long process and a lot of waiting! Typically for first semester you receive your results in around Feb time and 2nd semester will be around summer time, therefore you have to wait until summer. There is a specific date when your university will publish a transcript (which you have to send over to your new university) and mine came out in July! I can’t remember the exact date. So you know your results before results day giving you a few weeks to decide and make adjustments if needs be. You have to wait until results day for the university to process your results. I’m not sure if the transcript is automatically sent across as I already asked for it because I knew my uni needed it. But it’s a case of emailing your university office asking for it. I hope I’ve helped in some way :)
I don’t think they want to, as they said they’re planning to do it next year :)
@@MassimoPeluso thank you so much !! Yeah I was very close to dropping out , but now I think I’m going to do the year and then transfer to a London uni to complete my degree
No problem at all! :) I’m sorry to hear that - I know of course dropping out isn’t ideal but your happiness is the priority. I’m glad you found a solution and that’s waiting and transferring. I know you probably hear this allll the time, but the year seriously goes so fast. September-December is a little slow from time to time, but once it’s 2nd semester, it flies by; you will transfer before you know it! Let me know if you have any questions about the process or any other concern. Take care x
Can an international student on Tier4 Visa transfer university?
I want to know to
hey is it possible to change courses before the ucas deadline?
I’m 1 week into Chem Eng in Aston and I want to do Electrical Engineering at Cov… I have the grades but idk what to do all my mates r at Cov too…
How are you finding it (if you're there) in Cov? I'm contemplating leaving there rn...
dude, unrelated but u should be a MODEL!
I am ;)
& thank you haha
I am currently a student 1st year at university, i am already planning to transfer to a uni in London or closer to home... what is the first steps in order to switch university for 2nd/3rd year?
Hey bro, Im in the same situation... let me know if you find any helpfull information
great vid, would you have to put references in ucas
Hi, aw thank you and thank you for your comment :) for my UCAS application, I didn’t. I know when I applied in Year 13, sixth form teachers did and Head of Sixth etc, but when I transferred I wasn’t asked to. Only a personal statement, results and personal details really. Then of course once you finish 1st year, you have to scan over your transcript. I hope I’ve helped :)
@@MassimoPeluso thank you !!
No problem - you’re welcome!
@@MassimoPeluso are the results you need to provide first year university results or do they only need your Leaving cert results (Irish equivalent to A level results)
