Yes. Sleep discussions scared the heck out of me! It took me a long time to realize that they weren’t talking to me (but they never called it out and should!), so I have a hard time convincing myself that it’s not a problem if I don’t sleep.
And being told to get up at the same time and get sunlight or anything else FIRST thing drives me crazy. I go to bed at 9, have zero trouble falling asleep, but I am up between midnight and two am.
You stay to stop researching sleep, but put out videos to help people get better sleep. If we stop, no one will hear you!!! So ironic.

Agreed 💯 And it’s a great overstatement when she says not feeling fantastic on 11:39. When one can’t sleep for a week that’s one thing, but when it’s been years, and your head is throbbing and feels like is about to explode every evening is a MAJOR concern for me. I physically CANNOT live like this anymore 😢

Listening to these monotonous pair will send you to sleep. That’s how this works 🤣

Hi!ive started CBTi 3 days ago and it causes so much stress that i sleep worse than before. My original problem was waking up at night and couldnt go back sleep but now i am so stressed that i cant even fall asleep. What should i do? Continue or stop the whole thing? Thanks :)

Sorry to hear that. Keep going - and definitely talk to your CBT-i practitioner about the stress. Generally, it's the stress that perpetuates sleep issues, so addressing that piece is really important. It takes time for the nervous system to calm down and these are skills that you can use to regulate the nervous system.

@@stormyweather2807 I had chronic insomnia for eight years and the doctors tried to give me a bunch of pills that never did anything and then I found pot and I got 46 hours of sleep every night after that from having 5 to 15 minutes a night sleep, and then I quit the hygiene products Johnson and Johnson head and shoulders Colgate, all the deodorants, and then I started using one at a time till it came back and I found out it’s the aluminum powder inside the under armed deodorant. Now I don’t smoke pot before bed and I don’t have it panic, insomnia.
